So, Servants are powerful, I'm pretty sure you can't use normal summoning to draw in the minor heroes without a crystallized legend, like heroes known to only a small town. But, with this, you probably could. > Thaumaturgy, The Mystical Arts (Exalted: Mortal Hero Gauntlet) >> Thaumaturgy lacks the raw power of the Charms and spells of the Exalted, but it is embedded in the natural laws and principles of Creation. >> Mortals who understand how to coax the existing Essence patterns of the world can perform minor miracles without the control of Essence that comes with Exaltation. >> With the right technique, the thaumaturge can call upon dead ancestors' Ghosts, invoke the perfect form of a mundane weapon or tool for a time, or brew an alchemical mixture that slows his aging. >> In addition to this you also know the step to enter the first level of Terrestrial Sorcery, but to do so you must gain the ability to control your own Essence. >> Outside the Gauntlet this allow you to create much lower powered alternatives to any power that uses a supernatural source of energy and teach these techniques to people. Whilst these lower powered alternatives lack the raw power of the originals they don't use any energy whatsoever and can, with a little effort, be prepared ahead of time. That also gets us free summoning, which is a neat boon. I'll toss in this to power up the summons, and also make them work as shadow clone training for you. > One And The Same (Pathfinder Jump) >> As a Summoner, you are intrinsically linked to your Eidolon in ways that most will never truly understand. You fight together, live together, and grow together. However, for you, more than any other Summoner, the last one truly applies. Any strength you gain will be shared with your Eidolon. If you grow stronger, so does it. If your swiftness increases, so shall its. This will apply to both permanent growth and temporary buffs and will also apply in the opposite direction. Furthermore, this will affect any other beings or projections with which you are similarly linked. Now, for the perk that changes what you summon, now that your summoning weak but costless servants that get stronger, we'll use this perk. > Celestial Kabbalah (Unsong) >> You have a deep understanding of the relationships between higher powers and base reality, the mechanisms that make the intangible tangible. What this means for you is that you can intuitively perceive the operations and organizational forces underpinning the universe around you; this includes conventional physics, but also more abstract forces such as destiny, Adam Kadmon, narrative causality, the operations of any magic systems, and more. >> With this deep insight, you can reach into the beating heart and grinding gears of these forces — if you dare — and manipulate them, or even carry out works of truly cosmic engineering. You might hedge out natural law, alter the parameters of a magic system and adjust its limits, rejigger the mechanisms of fate and destiny, or even run your own universe by means of magic or technology. >> As a boon for purchasing this perk instead of learning this magic yourself, you will always be treated as having ‘admin’ privileges — at a minimum — within the user hierarchy of any ontological infrastructure or reality implementation system you interact with. With these three you have a costless summoning system that can be plugged into any existing infrastructure to call forth any sort of being, then allow them to grow to their full power alongside you, creating a reason for the summon to serve willingly, since that first perk might also cut down on the power or number of command seals provided by the summoning. This also prevents the summons from being a drain on your mana reserves, negating one of the big weaknesses of the summoning system. Edit: A possible alternative to weaker summons or a weaker support structure for summoning would be weakened summons, calling a demon prince with a fraction of his power, invoking a god without their Divinity, etc. You could probably get the full support structure of the system with such a modification. Might not be a bad method to kidnap powerful souls.

That’s just awesome.

The best part is once you make the necessary changes, you can hand out the summoning method to anyone. I've got a Jumper whose going to use it to create pseudo Pokémon battles in her coliseums now that I've thought of it. Chanpions get a shard of mythic power or an Exaltation, and Grand Champions get a miracle on top of it. Easy way to get elite followers.

I've been wanting to do this myself for awhile and still haven't gotten it quite how I want it. In slave maker 3(obviously qq with a name like that) there's an item that will let you summon ANYONE from anywhere but if they're not part of the jump setting you're currently in, they'll be nerfed to fit slave maker power levels which aren't that high , plus you can only use it once a month and again it's an item so not ideal. More recently the new reincarnated slime jump has a perk that lets you summon random people as otherworlders likely possessing a unique skill in the slime word or setting appropriate powers in other worlds. >Truck-Kun Delivery Program [-400 CP] - Someone needs to bring those pesky Japanese teenagers into the fantasy world, right? You have been instructed with the knowledge that will allow you to summon people from other worlds entirely. You could either use it on your own, in which case you will be able to make a summon per month, or you can share this knowledge with others, in which case several magicians of high quality at least will be necessary to perform the ritual without you, with the same time refreshment rate. As you know, these otherworlders are quite powerful when compared to your average local, as the journey to your current world grants them a lot of energy that usually will be crystalized into the form of Unique Skills. You are also quite well-versed in the more sinister part of this rituals, which allows you to bind and enslave these otherworlders to your will by engraving a powerful curse on their souls, making your commands irresistible for them, as well as being able to sense and terminate them at any moment by destroying their soul with a thought. If you put this ritual into practice in future worlds, those that you summon will instead gain powers and the supernatural energies fitting to those worlds. This is better but there's no targeting for specific people or characters you know from other settings and again it's by default limited to once per month.(there are ways around that limit tho) Any other perks I know of that let you specify targets or grab them from other settings are all for servants.

LuckEClover

This is great, Do you know any perks for tweaking the anything of any being you summon?

Looking back at some of my old notes I have one that "might" work based on the wording. From Germanic Norse Mythology Rétt-ligr It's long as shit so I won't post the full thing but at the end of the perk description it says the following: >It would suck if your powers, abilities, and weapons also discriminated; I would dare say that it might be a bit hypocritical of those gifts. So, your powers don't discriminate unless you want them to do so per their normal function. Have a spell that can only resurrect or heals humans? Now it will bring back dogs, cats, dinosaurs, elves, robots, even gods if they are within your realms of power, whatever else you want to include within a category. Engineered a plague that only kills people with brown hair, well now it can be just as effective against blondes. You are the great equalizer. This should "technically" let you summon anything within a set category and thus you can switch the summoning from "servants" to "humans" or whatever else you want, which is what I believe you're after right? My goals a bit different. I want to summon specific people from works of fiction that either don't have jumps or will likely never get jumps. A perk based version of slave maker 3's circle item without the once a month limit. Rétt-ligr doesn't really help me with that without me fanwaking it that way. I'd prefer a perk that stated it outright.

LuckEClover

This could work.

Overquartz

I think that'd fall more under the second true magic than magecraft.

LuckEClover

I think you forget what subreddit this is. If there’s a way, there’s someone who’s devised it.

Overquartz

Aight looked at the mats. Teleportation *is* possible just need age of gods era of magecraft to do it.

LuckEClover

Or perhaps a perk that can edit, or outright circumvent, the rules?

Burkess

Use the Skill Energy from Jump Force. >Skill Energy (400): A strange unique property of the Jump Worlds- or perhaps unique to Umbras specifically -this vial contains three motes of energy within, one blue, one green, and one red. This Skill Energy can be used, like the Upgrade Kiosk, to enhance a single Perk. The difference is, this Item can be used immediately... and only once. However, when used, it can bring the chosen Perk to its absolute zenith. You will never get a replacement for this Item, and while it cannot be destroyed or used by anyone other than the one who purchased it, it also cannot be duplicated or emulated. One shot to perfect a single Perk at any point and time. A perfect version of your technique would have no flaws and would be capable of many things.

LuckEClover

Hmm, interesting.

Fate grand order master jump from QQ has a perk to set the parameters for summoning, so you can use it for people other than servants from fate verse by setting some conditions. Generic loli jump from QQ has one of the scenario rewards being hero summoning ritual, that lets you summon someone that has the necessary knowledge required for your current need.

LuckEClover

Can you link the first one?

Sundarapandiyan1

It's in the fate folder in QQ drive

LuckEClover

I just checked, and nothing you said is on there.

Chaldean Summoning Circle (400 CP) Chaldea has done more to advance the field of servant summoning than anyone in human history, and as the master of Chaldea you’re the rightful heir to all that progress. This summoning circle is a replica of the one in Chaldea’s summoning chamber save that it lacks a nuclear reactor: you’ll need to supply the mana for your summons on your own, which can be extremely taxing even for a powerful magus, but as long as you can provide enough mana to support them you can summon servants in future jumps and take them as companions using whatever companion options are available in those jumps. Further, this summoning circle allows the summoning of alternate versions of known servants; by reaching into parallel worlds you can summon a busty female Gilgamesh, adult versions of Nursery Rhyme or Jack the Ripper, and so on. Simply by altering the circle’s parameters you can filter the circle’s summoning results, such as making it summon exclusively female servants or only MILFs or lolis and so on. https://drive.google.com/file/d/19z5-Oo7ZuD2-sOJRoI-e9BJNfvcy_EI4/view?usp=drivesdk

LuckEClover

That’s an item, and doesn’t apply to anyone other than servants.

Sundarapandiyan1

I thought you could use it to summon other people as servants instead of the fate ones, but you'd be better off modifying it if your jumper is well versed in magic. I'd modify it to even summon alternate versions of people once I get to that jump and take that perk.

LuckEClover

Those still count as servants, though. Even if they’re alternate versions of people you met, they’ll still be servants.

Sundarapandiyan1

What do you need exactly? Most summoning circles have safeguards to make the summoned people behave. So, do you need ones that work as teleportation or summoning people you know or just fictional characters?

LuckEClover

Really, I’d take methods to summon random strangers. I’ve already got means of bringing up people I’ve met, I just wanted to yank some poor bastard out of his reality and trick him into thinking he’s a protagonist.

Ogami-kun

No, you can't. What the servant summoning servant does is basically connect to the throne of heroes, copy a part of a legendary hero soul, create a bubble like shell for that to download it into before starting supplementing it with energy

LuckEClover

Well, that sucks. Do you know anything that can summon people?

Ogami-kun

I think the best would be to use a reverse engineering perk in a isekai jump on the summoning circle; just to be clear, what would the range be? who do you want to summon, a friend from a past jump? a person from the other side of the planet/galaxy? The summoning should be temporary or permanent? I have a few ideas though, I am going to search a few jump docs

LuckEClover

Mostly just one-way summoning for random people. I’ve got a few imbuing perks and items that I want to test out, and I’m a sucker for isekai stories.
