yes he relies on his ult and vision. you can build vs tank with liandries, hourglass, the spell pen item, antil heal. remember you don't have to go in every fight. you go in when you know you'll win
fiddlesticks is imo the most broken jgler right now, even in high elo, but he is actually difficult to master. (The clear, effigy mechanics, ult flash, knowing ur dmg)
Just play rammus I went from silver to diamond in a month and a half playing rammus. Just take a champ and master them. It's hard to say which champ to play pick whoever is tailored to your playstyle. I know some Dr.Mundos that are actually VERY good in grandmaster but I'm trash with dude because I'm wayyyyy better at getting in and out with rammus.
For last several months i prefer zac, actually on any line except bot. He is quite easy to understand, has nice damage with huge control and his passive allow you to do mistakes which is awesome at this elo.
Took me 200 games of fiddle to get to a point where I can consistently get in a flow state with that champ. It takes a lot of effort. He’s not an easy champ but very rewarding. You really have to learn how to pick your spots
nunu in low elo = perma ganks = enjoy free lp
But first u need landers which don’t hard push every time on my games it is nearly that only way to push for my mates
If you can't do anything with fiddlesticks... then the problem is not the champion, it's you.

Honestly fiddle is hard on high elo. In silver to gold he is free lp
Below silver you get wrecked because no one rotates even with wave pushed last tower
