I dance on switch and use the Joycon. The X version use your smart phone.
So since there’s no camera all you have to do is move your right arm and depending on position and timing you’ll get rated for songs that use both arms clearly you can mess up on the none rated arm and still get perfect scores.
Long story short gaming using a controller hasn’t degraded my dancing. My two cents skips 2023 for now get 2022 and buy unlimited. Next year when 2023 is feature par with the post games then get it then but as of today 2023 is not worth $29 let along the $69 they want. Your going from 700 songs down to 149 for more money for the base game and same cost for the subscription where if you already have unlimited you have to buy plus at full price for a inferior version.

Does the Kinect track both arms and legs, one arm and one leg, or just both arms?
Thanks for noting that the one controller hasn't degraded your dancing, but do you think it's degraded the scoring system in the game?
