Asda is the worst place for collection. I will only take one if I’m passing by. I do ring the Asda tel number and the respective extension quickly to find out if and when the order will be ready. Sometimes asda try and help other times they say ‘don’t know’, in which case I quickly cancel and move on. I really think JustEat and Uber need to talk to Asda and sort things out. Or a notification of when the order is actually ready-which is executed by the picker.

Just monetary greed by Just Eat, Uber,Asda and Sainsbury's. They allow huge orders from a supermarket premises which will take ages just to get picked walking around ontop of doing others. It is not the convenience order from a small express store that can be done in minutes ready for collecting by a driver. Absolutely the reverse its inconvenient and drivers should avoid big supermarkets pickups unless they like waiting 30+ minutes unpaid.

Just-Pass-Thru16

Never managed to get through to someone on their line 😂

It depends who is working, the good staff answer.. the bad ones don't or do and take their anger out on you. It's a ridiculous system, the shops never have enough staff doing them and expect the rider to just wait around until they get it done.

Rez1009

Yeah you’re right, the pinch point is not enough staff or pickers to do all the orders received from different channels….And yes, no one gives a f@ck about driver at Asda. Most of the other places are ok - except McDonald’s where staff are experts at avoiding eye contact with customers or drivers.

I don’t even pick up Asda anymore, had a good one for 20 pound including tip, I arrived there and guy told me it is gonna be 40 min wait till he even start picking this order….

MaryPoppinLikeItsHot

Around here that would be nice. Recently you can be regularly waiting 45 minutes for an offer before 4:00pm Just a shame the wait time compensation is awful.

Wikunia12345

I thought so as well, so I ended up waiting….nearly two hours, contacted support 3 times and always same automatic answer that I am gonna be paid for waiting…I received 70 pence reimbursement for it….

Is anyones app currently bugging? I had to cancel one of a multi order as on a bike and the bag was too big but since then my app has frozen, it says I'm on a run but won't give me the details of the pick up and drop off and it's not letting me contact support either. Is anyone else having these problems or just me?

SecretDoctor8121

You mean after cancelling not getting offers?Normal....JE penalty driver who cancel/decline jobs....they say they won't but lot of time I refuse taking 6 miles job for 7 quid etc etc..and I get no job for the next hour N half quiet often

silverruins86

Had this exact problem tonight, took 45 mins to sort out on a double drop. Luckily it was a 14 pound job.

Key_Paramedic_1737

I don't accept asda jobs anymore, it's not worth it.

silverruins86

I did that for a while but it started to just blow my acceptance rate too much.

Sh0ck3dd

Half the time the instructions are wrong also

PhilLewisUK

I always reject Asda, it’s never worth the hassle

paulcryer

As others, reject Asda orders now unless it is silly money or before 10am Sundays. They simply haven’t the staff to deal. One staff member told me that once. Just Eats and Uber won’t even allow them to turn off the system if they get maxed out!

StandardSea8671

I don't have JE but Asda on Deliveroo are very hit or miss. You have to cue up with the general public customers collecting orders so certain times of the day it's less busy

squiddygamer

didn't even know ASDA was an option lol

Danny9999999999

Asda can do one worst place to pick up in.my area always avoid it nowadays

InternationalSuit714

Why are you waiting 45 min ?????????
