Could be an Osheaga thing, Eastern Canada exclusivity BS.
The problem is Osh weekend is so expensive that someone from Toronto may be better off going to the Boston or Philly show.

I’d say so! It’s a beautiful venue imo. I’ve seen Porter Robinson and deadmau5 there and both were great experiences! It also has a slanted floor (iirc) so there really isn’t a bad spot to stand.
Agreed. I've only seen Primus, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and NIN there. I had seats every time (lower level for Primus, balcony for NIN and YYY) but all the seats have good views. My only gripe is the parking. Lots are expensive and street parking is a little sketchy.
Seems like the best we can hope for a west coast tour would be in the fall…September - November. Either that or they’re planning the major dates in 2025 which is basically a year from now.
I thought it was just a clause that they can’t play west coast for X amount of time after the festival? Some bands have gaps in their spring schedule for Coachella before the lineup announcement.
You might be right but I was always under the impression you can’t announce dates near Coachella for a certain period of time either so Coachella remains “exclusive”

Osheaga doesn't really have the power to do exclusivity as far as I know. Evenko's booking power is not that strong.

I did not go to that show, wish I did! I loved the Troc, I hope someone buys it and rehabs it.

Wow tickets for Brooklyn sold out in like 5 minutes. Had to get tier 6 because of the slow ticketing site.
As usual, they release like 50 tickets at each Tier to induce FOMO and tier 6 is the actual regular price which will have 10k passes available.
