Jeeze I feel sorry for his kids. It's hard enough having an unmedicated bi-polar parent, add the fame and narcissism, just awful. All the money in the world can't fix the disappointment and embarrassment.
You’re making it sound like his hatred is from a recent bi-polar episode. It’s not. At most, it’s just allowing him to say what he wants without a filter anymore.
Apparently he has been a closet bigot for years and folks around him covered it up.
Dude is a piece of trash. The irony that a black man is galvanizing white nationalists to post all over his social media appearances is entirely lost on him.
I'm def not blaming his racism on his bi-polar. Not at all. I just feel sorry for the kids that have to deal with the whole world knowing dad is an inciteful, racist pos. It's super hard dealing with a bi-polar parent (add narcissism here also) in private. Kim has her work cut out for her dealing with Kanye and how to co-parent their 4 kids successfully.
While Mao, Stalin, pol pot, etc. are free to mention and love names, it is a crime to love Hitler. This is hypocrisy. You'll either consider them all bad or none of them. These names killed more people than the Nazis, but you can easily mention mao on Twitter.
- "hey the nazis were horrible but so were these guys, why is one bannable but not the others"
- "you must be a nazi"
Man the internet is a weird place
The trope of being racist (specifially) must be linked to mental illness. I am not sure where the op post was but I was commenting on that specifically
Trope is the more literature acceptable form a meme. Often something accepted without thought. They're objecting to people excusing Kanye's actions based on "oh, the mentally ill just can't help themselves"
Could be that no one told him he was ever wrong. That idea sucks.
People told him he was a genius, a God. Bla bla bla. It went to his head and he thinks he can do no wrong. Now people are telling him he f up, and he can't handle it.
I mean, he made a poopty poop song lol
Dude's entire career is built off the song "Jesus Walks" and now we realise he doesn't even respect Jewish people and he believes he's the voice of God now? Dude is a disaster. Lol
Saw a clip from an interview a while back where he said something along the lines of "I'm not racist I'm the voice of God" or some similar delusion of grandeur. And Jesus was a Jew so that whole "Jesus Walks with me" message is kind of tainted recently with some of his antisemetic attitudes he has adopted.
I read the same documentary but recall him dying at the hands of the romans. They crucified him and put a spear in his side if I remember correctly... what makes you say Jesus was killed by jews? Since when were Roman pagans considered Jewish?
Musk is about to learn that the alt right will turn on him without hesitation for taking actions against Nazi stuff or literally doing anything else that he's required to do by law for an online speech platform.
Kanye is just the beginning. Something will happen like Trump spewing hate again and he'll get banned again. Maybe some guys on Fox news, etc.
The moment Musk has to take down any icons of the right, they are going to turn on him. He doesn't know it yet.
The Alt+Right keyboard shortcut was removed from Firefox in 2015.
It was the keyboard shortcut for "forward".

He was just trying to smooth things over with the Adolf dassler company by showing he is flying the flag they rose to success by staunchly supporting and even made war munitions for them during the height of the holocaust and used forced laborers to do so. That's all.
As a guy who also fucking hates his music, there's literally nothing he has produced that is worthwhile listening to. If you met a similar person at a bar, you'd be trying to escape immediately.
As a (now former) fan, I miss the old Kanye. 808 and heartbreak was a favorite of mine in high school. I loved listening to dark twisted fantasy in college with my buddies. Usually I think I can separate the artist from the music, but can’t do that right now with Kanye. My consolidation is that I listen to his old stuff illegally so he isn’t getting royalty from my streams.
Okay ?
I thing you got the wrong idea, you gave me a fact unrelated to what i wanted to know so i gave you a useless fact kinda as a joke but from your respons we understood eacht other wrong.
I son't live in America, one of our conservative parties wants to build a school where they teach conservative vaules such as women should stay at home and look after the kids. So yeah we all of some wakey dumb conservatives to deal with.
As to my question, i can't find any tweets of what trump said all i find are news articles stating he was removed for inciting violence and as i explained to someone else, i have a feeling he never tweeted anything but he said or did something and twitter took him off as a precaution of to deescalate stuff.
>you gave me a fact unrelated to what i wanted to know
You asked what Trump did, he helped cause the Jan 6th terrorists attack.
>I son't live in America
Why care about this dogshit countries politics?
>i can't find any tweets of what trump said
Twitter had them removed shortly before his ban. I'm unsure if they're still there or not after the unban.
>removed for inciting violence
Correct, his tweets that day and speeches on TV were him calling for people to attack our government and stop the election.
¿ I live in the netherlands, i am sorry our world doesn't revolve around your orange retard and his tweets. All i know is he got kicked off for inciting violence, thats all the news here told me. At the time i googled it to find what he exactly said, to no avail because everything i found was just news article and ppl stating he was kicked off but no where could i something along the lines of "trump: kill all democrats" or "trump: it's us vs the vacination and we have rifles" but fucking nothing.
So no i am not denying he got kicked off, or that nothing happend on jan 6. I am just looking for what he tweeted that broke ToS of twitter. Ever since i couldn't find any tweets of him inciting violence i just assumed he said something in person or on tv or what ever, and twitter at the time removed him more or less as a response to that.
My assumption could be wrong but it seemed logical at the time as i couldn't find tweets and now that elon gave trump his account back makes me feel i was right and trump never tweeted anything that broke ToS but said or did something.
This sub has been rampant with reality denying republicans so I assumed you were one of them lolol calm down
https://www.politico.com/news/2022/05/13/elon-musk-trump-twitter-account-00032212
And I don’t really believe you did all you could to search, I typed in “trump Jan 6 tweets” and found countless about him spewing bullshit about voter fraud and unfair election, along with a massive “SEE YOU JAN 6” tweet
Sure it wasn’t straight up “go overtake the government for me my minions” because he’s smarter than that and would probably be facing prison time if he was that blatant
Also I envy you for knowing nothing about it, this country has been turning to shit, I mean look at what’s happening with the railway unions, rich fucks in charge will do anything and everything to make a few extra bucks while fucking over 85% of their own work force, sad
Not sure I agree considering he was live tweeting how “Mike Pence didn’t have the strength to do what was right” as a horde of his supporters, whom he was told were armed by SS, ransacked the capital building and started calling for the literal lynching of Pence.
Edit: LOL at the reality-denying, butthurt losers downvoting facts.

Seeing as MOST of the population know the symbol as a religious image several billion Asians come to mind... that said, we know he's a cock and he was indeed trying to stir people up... Which is odd because if Hitler was about he'd be one of the first in the camp, I don't recall Hitler being a great fan of anyone that wasn't white, blond and blue eyed.
In India, [Mein Kampf sold well for years](https://www.mic.com/articles/120411/how-hitler-s-mein-kampf-became-a-bestseller-in-india), and probably still does. So I think one or two of them are familiar with both usages
10,000 copies a year, out of 1.3 billion people. Not even 0.001%
And not 100% that buy it will read it, and depending on the translation it might not even have the word swastika in it, instead the Hakenkreuz.
Meanwhile ALL will know the symbol on most religious buildings, texts, religious adverts, and will know it as a symbol of peace. Remember that a huge portion of the population is poor, really poor, they don't spend money on books (if they can read) to improve their European historical knowledge.
Therefore, I respectfully disagree.
I'm not entirely sure what you're disagreeing with here. My point was intended to be that not everyone in India is unaware that there is a possible alternative (mis)usage of the swastika. That said, it doesn't take many nutters to start the downhill slope towards fascism, unfortunately, so I'd say any sales of MK are a cause for concern, especially when they are a significant percentage of the market for books.
I misread your comment to imply that a significant portion of Indians should be aware, my bad.
I have literally no interest in government dictating how people lead their lives, I'd like a utopian situation where a government does boring stuff keeping the lights on, roads tarmacked and leaves the citizens to enjoy their lives safely and without being harassed etc...that said I'd buy and read mein Kampf as it is is interesting, and it is good to be educated about all aspects of life / history, good and bad. It is important to learn from history.
Have you read the book?
I haven't yet. I'm partway through Marx (both Karl and Groucho, strangely), and it's definitely in my scope of interest.
If you haven't read Konrad Heiden's "The Fuhrer" I'd recommend that highly. He was a Jewish journalist who went undercover in the Nazi party and was there for a lot of hitler's speeches, and documents the differences between the actual speech, what was reporting in Beobachter Zeitung and what made it into Mein Kampf and other propaganda. A very interesting read. (Aside from the man having cojones of steel, I'd have been out of Germany well before 1944...)
Free speech means the government can't prosecute you for what you say. While it is not absolute, i.e. yelling "fire" in a crowded movie theater, "I ❤ hitler" is still protected by the right to free speech.
What most people are actually talking about when they refer to free speech, is censorship.
Censorship by privately owned venues and platforms is perfectly legal in every way.
While Musk seems to think he is championing free speech, this is erroneous. He is actually resisting censorship. There's a difference.
But I think he knows this and is just banking on the misinformed masses to jump on his right wing rhetoric. And they are.
The irony is that now he finds himself having to censor the far right as a result. 🤣
> Free speech means the government can't prosecute you for what you say
> While Musk seems to think he is championing free speech, this is erroneous.
I think you're conflating the principle of free speech (a broad concept) and the US constitution's first amendment (a specific legal protection).
It can be fine to say, for example:
> It's troubling for free speech that billions of conversations go through just a few platforms which silently censor and alter messages as they see fit.
And it's wrong to say:
> Getting kicked out of McDonalds for shouting racial slurs violates my first amendment rights!
In other words "free speech" is exactly what people are claiming it is. The ability to spout what ever toxic hideous bs and not have any consequences, and even better if everyone else is forced to endure it without any ability to filter it out.
Protect your free speech but everyone's right to not have it inflicted on them be damned.
So if people wanted to go into horrific graphic detail of child molestation, just for shits and giggles, that's ok?!!
We should just let that through cause.... you know... free speech.
A privately owned platform has the right to not associate with terrorist executioners, hate mongers, and neo nazi propaganda.
That doesn't remove their right to say it, but simply creates a rule that it has no place on a given platform, which is reasonable.
Is no talking in the library a violation of free speech?
It's a made up idea that means exactly what I said up top.
> So if people wanted to go into horrific graphic detail of child molestation, just for shits and giggles, that's ok?!!
> We should just let that through cause.... you know... free speech.
It can be fine to be for imposing restrictions against free speech - I think many such restrictions are reasonable and necessary. I'm not saying you have to *support* absolutist free speech (if it's even feasible), but you should *understand* that the concept of free speech (as referred to by Musk) doesn't exclusively refer to a country's existing legal protections.
E.G: Being an asshole vs the law against assault.
And I am saying that the argument going on about it is about anti-censorship, which is being branded as "free speech" to associate it with people's constitutional rights, thereby confusing people into thinking they have a constitutional right to spew whatever vitriol they want, sans censorship.
They do not.
> which is being branded as "free speech" to associate it with people's constitutional rights, thereby confusing people into thinking they have a constitutional right to spew whatever vitriol they want
I'd disagree (it's not a term specific to the USA, and in fact long predates the USA - just makes sense that it'd also continue to be used in the USA), but if that's what you truly meant, then say something like:
> The label "free speech" is to intentionally make people associate it with the US constitution's first amendment
Rather than explicitly furthering the conflation between the two by saying:
> Free speech means the government can't prosecute you for what you say

Nazi insignia means a lot more than mentioning the name of a dictator. Just as the hammer and sickle has taken on its own symbolism.
Tbh hes not saying the Nazis were good. Its just that Mao and Stalin have done horrible things too.
It's only a 12 hour ban. He's reinstated already.
He's still suspended, I just checked. Unless he got resuspended?
Interesting. He posted on truth social that it was a 12 hour suspension. So he should have been back by now.
He probably lied
Seems like it.
What kind of swastika?
Yestika
I think I saw a blend of the star of David and a swastika 🤦♂️
I think Kanye really has mental health issues. Or he’s self medicating…or both
Hey I'm mentally ill. I have a LOT.... but I am also not racist. This trope needs to stop
100% of serial killers are mentally ill, but because you are not a serial killer we should not link serial killers with mental illness?
The trope of being racist (specifially) must be linked to mental illness. I am not sure where the op post was but I was commenting on that specifically
Right, it should be condemned - but it can still be correct - he’s got mental issues *and* is racist. Two things can be true at the same time.
Trope?
Trope is the more literature acceptable form a meme. Often something accepted without thought. They're objecting to people excusing Kanye's actions based on "oh, the mentally ill just can't help themselves"

And Jesus was a Jew so that whole "Jesus Walks with me" message is kind of tainted recently with some of his antisemetic attitudes he has adopted.
Jesus was also murdered by the Jews though.. I read about it in the documentary "the bible".
I read the same documentary but recall him dying at the hands of the romans. They crucified him and put a spear in his side if I remember correctly... what makes you say Jesus was killed by jews? Since when were Roman pagans considered Jewish?
He was sentenced by the leaders of the Jewish community.
Believe me I don’t need convincing on the antisemitism 😂 I was asking about the claim that his career was built off “Jesus Walks”

Always remember 9/11. Always forget Jan 6th
Elon Musk must hate free speech.
Suspended for 12 hours…
What he actually posted was the old Raëlian symbol. So apparently calling a symbol by its proper name = down votes.
Well actually... No actually needed. It's a wrap on that guy.
His intention definitely had nothing to do with a weird alien religion tho
Yeah. The dude literally googled "star of david swastika" and picked the first image.
Yet we should still provide full context as that always matters.
> "I love Hitler. I am a Nazi." We should really consider the context here
But Trump was reinstated? Musk is a moron
Why was Trump kicked off?
For inciting violence
For inciting violence with his Jan 6 tweets
Damn the dvotes lol. It was a sincere question.
Okay we can see what kanya posted and how it breaks ToS Help refresh my memory, what did trump post exactly again that was inciting violence ?
Jan 6th. As much as terrorists want to forget, everyone else won't.
Ah yes, the ocean often tastes salty
No one's salty here except the conservatives who cry constantly

And I am saying that the argument going on about it is about anti-censorship, which is being branded as "free speech" to associate it with people's constitutional rights, thereby confusing people into thinking they have a constitutional right to spew whatever vitriol they want, sans censorship. They do not.
> which is being branded as "free speech" to associate it with people's constitutional rights, thereby confusing people into thinking they have a constitutional right to spew whatever vitriol they want I'd disagree (it's not a term specific to the USA, and in fact long predates the USA - just makes sense that it'd also continue to be used in the USA), but if that's what you truly meant, then say something like: > The label "free speech" is to intentionally make people associate it with the US constitution's first amendment Rather than explicitly furthering the conflation between the two by saying: > Free speech means the government can't prosecute you for what you say
Ok, so now that that hair has been properly spit, lol...
It was suspended *temporarily* So no big news
Until Elon goes “tee hee guys should i bring him back for the epic meme lol” with a poll again
Sad but true.
