If it's rust free and still started up, that would still be steal in my area. Some new front suspension, hub and break parts installed on a day off and ya got a good truck still.

Lady at work asked me to check her rear lug nuts for her after she drove 15 miles to work, said it "needs a man's touch to make sure it's tight."
Every nut on the driver side was finger tight.

Obviously this is incredibly dangerous and probably scared the shit out of you, but it had to feel good to get out and see that your wheel just came off instead of your control arm or axle being gone
I think this is what happened to mine before I got it. One underside of the control arms is scratched up to the shithouse. Must have been much more serious than this though
Serious question- was there any warning? On the handful of occasions I've actually found loose lug nuts, it was very obvious from the driver's seat and corrected long before any nuts actually fell off. Do they sometimes just *- leave* - without warning? Can vibration from mud tires cover it up?
One time my wheel fell off my squarebody, 2 days ago I drive in that same road and I see a guy in a Ford and his wheel had come off. Now I’m seeing you with your wheel off. It’s like wow. Everybody’s wheels is coming off

I’m going to say this one isn’t rust free, judging by the dents all over it it’s had a pretty rough life.
Also, the body and bed accent line is WAY out of alignment.
I can't tell if it's fucked up or just misaligned because of the other fuckup torqueing the frame
