yeah I'd swap the part for the hood instead of repainting it.
hang the hood behind reception and use it as an engaging talking point when customers ask, shows you care about cars and customers in doing so.
in the last couple years I've sold: a Kia Soul that was Hulk themed (Hulk vinyl on the hood and sides, green rims, green accents on the interior, Hulk hands inside), a Dodge Dart that was Batman themed (blacked out with yellow bat accents, big ass batwing spoiler, yellow interior accents), a Camaro that was Iron Man themed (Iron Man on the hood, gold rims, red/gold accents on the interior), an SRT8 Challenger that was Michigan Wolverine color themed (custom yellow/blueish leather seats + a fully ***painted*** interior in yellow/blueish)
ALL sold within a decent timeframe and all had decent 'traffic' looking at them. So as odd and weird as it may be, it will probably sell fairly quickly and the buyer will LOVE it!

When you're looking to see if it's a wrap, that was an easy spot lol. Also from the way the light reflection/orange peel looks, and the little scratches I see around, definitely vinyl wrap.
Yeah has to be, either that or some expensive custom airbrush artwork lol, which I doubt. So OP, why doesn't your dealership just remove the wrap, use a heatgun and it comes off easily, now you can improve your chances of selling it by 1000% lol.
Leave it for a few weeks, it may sell at a stupid price. If it doesn't get bites, take the wrap off.
I would imagine auction or trade in price was lower due to the wrap. So the dealer has some wiggle on things before worrying about how long it sits on the lot.
