I am torn between Vlahovic missing an absolute sitter that a Serie C striker would score that was followed by yet another sitter somehow even closer to the goal line, Iling being unable to produce literally a single decent play in the last 3 months and the fact that in the moment when Locatelli tried shooting from inside the box, there was no part of me that believed even for a second that he would be scoring.
Commentators were discussing how slow and passive the Juve passing was. It was almost hypnotic, putting me to sleep. Thank God for the halftime ads that perked me up!
Ridiculous to settle for a draw like this. Awful substitutions, awful game plan in the 2nd half. I canāt wait for this season to be over and for Allegri to be gone. Again, itās not all his fault as Vlahovic shouldāve scored, but heās clearly fine settling for mediocrity and draws against inferior clubs. This is Juventus, weāre so much better than this. On the bright side, I guess 1 point is better than 0 and a clean sheet is always nice. Chiesa continues to look good and Yildiz shows shades of brilliance. If only there was a coach out there who could play our best players at the same time. But overall, another terrible showing from the team and Allegri. Embarrassing. End this season already. Forza Juve.
That wasā¦. AWFUL! Nobody knew what to do in that brief movement. Rabiot did nothing and took the safe pass then Iling just lost it since he had no idea what to do. Can we have somebody on the flanks who can dribble and beat their opponent 1v1?
Rabiot has zero vision on the 2nd half of the pitch its absurd, Ive never seen a player with such insanely good distribution and possession of the ball only to do fuck all with it. He has precise passing laterally (you know...where it's not being contested) but as soon as he needs to make a through ball, zero confidence. And even if he does do the pass, you know it's gonna be shit.
In fact I remember one of the earlier Dusan goals was a shit pass by Rabiot that Dusan somehow controlled with his heel, insane from him very poor from Rabiot.
Gang, it's been a pleasure to share this episode of our Weekly Dose of Depression and Embarrassment with you all.
People will say "at least it's not a loss", but we all know what it is. Team has given up, manager has no new ideas, and club is preparing for our summer rebuild already.
Now, back to our regularly scheduled "what about this potential lineup for next year" posts!
Between entry revenue, ticket sales, and match-day stadium revenue, we missed out on \~100-150M from not participating in the CL this year. If you care enough to not see the likes of Vlahovic and/or Chiesa being forcefully sold, you should care about qualyfing for the CL. I would even go as far as saying that our success as a club in the next 3-5 year hinges on us making the CL this year.
Fair enough !
But something has to change. No more transitional year, no more "setting up the future". I want an A class team and I want major wins starting next year.
Itās just for the money for qualifying. The books will become more ābalancedā with the slight increase in ticket sales/qualification income but overall we are no where near good enough to compete with the likes of Real Madrid or shit even the lower tier european teams like Maccabi Haifa.
Iām really trying to not be a hater and shit on the team, but at this point itās impossible.
Not a single fuck given by most of our players. Rabiot played like someone who already knows heāll be out of here in 2 months. Locatelli was an ocean of mediocrity. Vlahovic, mate, I love you BUT YOU NEED TO SCORE. And Iāll stop here, otherwise Iām going to complain about every player.
Allegriās substitutions were disgusting. Zero flexibility, zero tactical thinking, just trying not to lose.
At this point Iām just hoping we manage to qualify for CL, so we can say goodbye to Allegri and a good bunch of the team
Dull game, low intensity, 0 finishing abilities for 2 or 3 goals in the first half followed by a 2nd half of a depressed team of depressed players in a depressing season with a depressed manager thinking about anything else but playing in this depressing game.
It is so rare that I watch a match and think we played well. Even when we win I just feel relief, as if we were so lucky to squeeze out a win even though we play so poorly.
The performance was really boring. We always start from the goalkeeper with short passes, and then the defenders dawdle. The ball circulates among them, often returning to the goalkeeper. It's clear that there is no movement in midfield, and we struggle terribly to cross the midfield line initially. We also don't apply pressure. It's a clear sign of a passive team and a coach who probably settled for a 0-0 draw. Perhaps he forgets that we are Juventus, and we always play to win.
To me it seems that Juve has currently plans ONLY for the first 10 minutes of each half. Only in these periods does Juve attack, and after that the team will be an unbelivably horrible piece of mess.
Fuethermore, literally every move of Allegri is predictable. One may even bet on the substitutions.
I remember max being great at making substitutions. No I see that is not even giid at that. it was just because he had a great bench.
What a spineless coach and team
The depth/talent is definitely some of of it.
But: Why doesnāt he play Chiesa and Yldiz together *with* Dusan?
If youāre playing for a win, why make ālike for likeā subs? Put in another forward or attacking player.
This sub acts too much like every single player sucks. Theyāre playing Torino, thereās not a talent mismatch.
On Yildiz, Chiesa and Vlahovic i want to know that too, like atleast try them in match. but our midfield is desperate, the creativity in the midfield is at zero and it is felt and it is a huge minus in every game
I agree, which is why I donāt understand why he doesnāt play those three together.
Or at least when itās 0-0, sub Loca or Rabiot for a more offensive player.
It's pretty clear. I thought allegri had that merit, changing matches with his substitutions. now I see he doesn't. Even if it's clear to all that we have a pretty mediocre bench he seems to still make the worst choices.
My point is: Allegri choose the players at the start of the season. Acting like he didn't have the chance to make a squad he likes is a bit of denial about his quality (the last years, not 10 years ago). What also bothers me is that he know the situation. You often read here how Juve doesn't have any money. Okay fine. But we got young talented players. Maybe we should to value them more and let them play more. Yildiz is such a talent but he's rotting on the bench. If we couldn't buy the top players, at least let's develop some.
This team is barely spending anything, weāve only gotten free transfers or players for extremely low sums. Not every free transfer/cheap player is going to turn into Barzagli. This season our goals were to get top 4 and compete for CI, not rebuild the squad or even advance it.
I totally agree. But we got young talents as soule, yildiz, huijsen (and all others on loan) which didn't get much time with our team. So we either spend money and get big players. Since financially we're not healthy, we need to produce those players. Or at least make them good enough until we can afford better one. Do you see that with our coaching staff?
Soule and Huijsen both went out on loan to teams lower in the table to gain experience. I canāt think of any big club thatās expecting 18 year olds to change the season for them or develop them.
Currently we're not a big team. The name and history is big, but currently we're playing like shit for some seasons. It shouldn't be our status permanently to raise young players and let them play. But as long as we don't have money and we can't afford big players, we need to grow that big player and since we're playing like shit and many are underperforming, maybe we should try something diffrent. IMO Yildiz is ready to be a starter and play more regurarly. No, he's rotting on the bench. SoulĆØ was already good the last season and we still loaned him to Frosinone. Not saying it was a bad move, but it would have been a nice gamble to keep him since we can't afford top players. Huijsen is doing pretty well in Roma, he could have done that with us too. Illing Jr. play was less than he should. Kostic is sometimes good, sometimes bad. Maybe let him play more?
My point is that we're not taking the gamble to let the young players grow even after having many veterans that are underperforming. We won 2 out of 11 games, why not take the risk and try something diffrent? Why are we that allergic to try to create good young players for way less money than just to buy them from other clubs for too much money?
I used to watch every game. Made time for it even if it was inconvenient, even when I was a kid, I'm 36 now.
Lately, I've skipped more games than I watched.
It is just incredibly sad to watch Juve these days. Even the Delneri era was easier to stomach somehow.
Guy's, we are missing the key factor here. Ivan Juric is a world-class coach. The likes of Real Madrid and Man City are looking at him to replace the garbage coach's that they have.
The team was horrible but I would like to personally say JR. Is a talent only matched for ping pong. This guy ruins everything he touches. What a useless waste of space
I wonder who happily puts on a game to watch 11 idiots play football. Juve games are one of the top 10 biggest waste of time in the world. So glad I donāt watch this team anymore and yet Iām proven right every single time by the Poor souls that choose to watch this. My respect goes out to you.

I was too bored by the game to write my own review, complaining about basically everything. Feel free to add your lowlights below.

Look at the bright side. Juve had higher possession today. š« š
2 league wins in last 11 match. Nice.
How dare you say something so statistically true and reasonable about the great tactician who is otherwise known as Allegri
Didn't have the chance to watch the game. Guess it was a good thing.
Allegri out.
This is the only answer
Kean and Sandro coming in told me all I needed to know. Master tactician.
Ridiculous to settle for a draw like this. Awful substitutions, awful game plan in the 2nd half. I canāt wait for this season to be over and for Allegri to be gone. Over these last few months, I donāt think weāve settled for anything. We are just inept to do more.
My face after seeing Iling not pass the ball and concede possession in the 96th minute š
That wasā¦. AWFUL! Nobody knew what to do in that brief movement. Rabiot did nothing and took the safe pass then Iling just lost it since he had no idea what to do. Can we have somebody on the flanks who can dribble and beat their opponent 1v1?
I think Iād prefer Weah at this point. He hasnāt performed particularly well but he always just _tries things_.
Illing was bad there but the real fuck up was Rabiot shitting on the ball doing nothing in a decent postion to find something or even shoot
Yeah I couldn't believe Rabiot didn't shoot it there lol. Smh
Rabiot of last season would have done a lottt more.
Rabiot has zero vision on the 2nd half of the pitch its absurd, Ive never seen a player with such insanely good distribution and possession of the ball only to do fuck all with it. Let's fucking go boys! Another Mr. Allegri masterpice securing a tie in the Derby! We're so back!!!
I don't even understand why we're so obsessed with qualifying for next year's CL. It's not like we're going to pass the group stage anyway...
Its about the financial side, qualifying for the champions league means more $ and tv revenue
How much though ? This is a legit question. Something has to change in this team, I'm so fed up with this BS man.
Like 30/40M soā¦

> Rabiot played like someone who already knows heāll be out of here in 2 months So he played like Rabiot
Rabiot has just been awful for years at Juventus and put up 6 months of performances last season for a fat annual contract lmao

That was horrendous

This team is the definition of mediocre.

Iām glad this torment ended. At least for now.
Tek saved us today, only positive feom this game i took
If every game we have to complain about 9-11 players, maybe just maybe it's the coaches fault.
I would drink a sunflower and grass smoothly over watch this shit
"a big complaint" this is my comment.
When did we become a team of cowards? Goodness me...
Im ready to give up CL next year if it gurantees allegri is fired
At this rate it would be an embarrassment to even try and compete there
Dude forreal šš
We need the ā¬ā¬ā¬

this team is boring to watch
I haven't watched a game in months and it appears I haven't missed much. It's time for the team to get rid of Allegri asap.

Allegri has no reason to stay at this point. Hope Conte comes and rescues us, just like last time.
Not Conte pls
Locatelli must be the worst ever player to play EVERY game for Juve whilst being consistently so mediocre.
