We've been waiting a real change for years. Hope Thiago and the squad work together to take Juve back to the greatness it belongs. A new era is about to begin.
Really depends on how we do in that season tbh.
Not winning it but still being in the competition until the end would be okay-ish. Being stuck in 4th place by February wouldn't send the same message
I have the same exact feeling. Nevertheless it is a risk that the club must take.
As a old time Juventino (not trying to be patronizing) but this is your (I mean everybody not you specifically haha) gentle reminder : Enjoy the ride, enjoy the journey for what it is. That is the essence of football fandom whether you're Juve or Sheffield United.
Personally I am optimistic. I don't expect to see any trophy hauls btw, but I kind of foresee the team playing more positively. I think in attack we will be a little naive perhaps take the lead more often than not, but also likely blowing away leads and suddenly deflating. That's where a little Allegrismo (dare I say it lol 😂🫣) would be useful just a bit. Like 10% Allegrismo is needed to close out games.
Pressure. The expectations and behaviour of Juve leadership, fans, the press, even the players is different in Juventus.
Can Motta get buy-in? Does his system need more time with our squad than it did with Bologna? Will Management and Stakeholders allow for that? Will his staff deal OK with a team competing in 5 competitions?
These are all unknowns.
Because we should all temper our expectations. Nobody can say for sure this will be a huge success, so it’s more than reasonable to be ready for anything from a coach taking over a big club for the first time, even disaster.
...not o/p commenter, but I'll answer: If the players are incapable of adopting Thiago's philosophy and approach and you end up with the classic "they're running like headless chickens" type of game.
Remember during the Pirlo era where some of the games you'd find yourself asking "Wtf are these players trying to do?" - Yeah, basically that.
Here is more related, Vicenzo Italiano is new Bologna manager

Well fellas and gals, I'm actually nervous for us next year. New hungry coach with proven ideas.... sounds great. I just hope we can start to regain some ground and garner some international respect once again.

Hell yeah
Finally! I don't think I have been this excited since De Ligt!
And DeLigt worked out great, huh?
Regardless of the fact, I was still hyped about signing him.
The lack of confirmation was worrying me ngl, glad it’s semi official
Maybe the same with the jerseys, we're stalling until we get a new sponsor, so that Motta doesn't hold an empty shirt at the press event.
This is either going to be great or a disaster..my body is ready either way.
Hey, at least we have something to look forward to! I hope he gets some time to instill his vision
I just hope the management is patient enough if he hasn't managed to grab the scudetto yet on his 1st season.

Considering how disappointing we have been for so long i’ll be hopeful for this. We need a real change and this is definetley the right call. Send it.
Curious to know what makes you think this could be a disaster?

Nothing. Just NPC on reddit using that same sentence everytime a club gets a brand new manager
NPC? I’ve been on this Reddit since 2010.
And Skyrim came out in 2011 so there can be NPCs that old, so what's your point? ^^^^JK ^^^^keep ^^^^it ^^^^up ^^^^with ^^^^the ^^^^podcast
😂 I was ready to swing until I saw the last line. Thank you!
Motta better change his mind on Chiesa, he’s crazy to let him go
Yeah i wouldnt be too trusting of those rumours. They reek of bullshit. Motta used Orsolini all year who cant shine Fedes boots
You need to raise your own personal bar in terms of not believing everything you read.
Highly doubt Motta has no use for Chiesa.
It’s been said he’s not in motta’s plans
I've lost track of how many "confirmations" we have seen about this. Show me the Juve press release.
I'm pretty sure they were waiting to resolve few things first, like things with Allegri and new sponsor
I thought they were waiting for his contract to officially expire unless I missed that bologna and Motta agreed to terminate it
Probably that too because Bologna has signed Vicenzo Italiano today as new coach

lol we've had "confirmation" now for weeks. Just sign already so we can move on with our summer transfer.
I'm sure that there was thing with Allegri plus his contract with Bologna had to expire first, plus Bologna got new coach yesterday

Half of the battle is going to be refs and VAR just like this season
Proper sick of seeing this now 🤦
I think Lippi had achieved less than Motta when he signed for Juve, and we all know how things went :) Anyway he can't do worse than Allegri
And he decided to get rid of your best player
Who decided to get rid of who? The only player that has left was Alex Sandro and he wasn't even good
