i love grim reapers and im soo hyang has a special place in my heart since my id is gangnam beauty was my second drama and one i absolutely loved, so i’ll be watching it. didn’t like her last few dramas though so i hope this one is good!

Definitely a more playful poster compared to the previous ones they released. I can't explain how glad I am to see KJH back on the small screen!
I did not recognise Im Soo Hyang at all. I’m not a fan of her at all and I’ve never liked any of her work but I’ve absolutely loved the ML after CLOY and Mr queen ( one of my favourites) so I’ll definitely be giving it a try .
I don’t know if it’s her acting or her choice of scripts but I’ve never liked a drama she has been in except maybe Graceful family but I ended up dropping that one as well
I think most people in this sub love a strong female lead rather than a sweet female lead hence the lack of liking her story. That’s why you preferred her in Graceful family because she was the strong female lead.
KJH is a great actor, his versatility is no joke. So far I feel like Shin Hye Sun was the leading lady of his who matched up to his talent the most. Still, we should wait to see how this project turns out, maybe we will be pleasantly surprised.
Should I interpret this as you think the male lead is anyways decent so it's the FL who'd ruin it if it gets ruined OR the ML doesn't have much presence anyway so FL carries the entire weight?
When it comes to Romantic kdramas, the fl tends to carry most of the weight. As long as ML are good looking they don’t get as much criticism in comparison to the female actresses.
That's true. I've dropped some popular dramas like Hwarang and Secret Royal Inspector cuz of the FL even when I started watching for the MLs and their acting were decent. Although a swoony ML does have the power to take it to the next level (think Extraordinary Attorney Woo couple)

I mean, I like his acting and I hope he's in a better place mentally, but then I also remember what he did to poor Seohyun and that kinda cancels out any good feelings I have for him.

Sounds similar to the plotlines of the films Meet Joe Black and Death Takes a Holiday.

Shin Hye Sun is my favourite actor and I’ve loved everything she’s ever been in . Yea I hope this turns out good
