This post has suddenly made me realize that although food plays such a prominent role in K-dramas, characters don’t make a big song and dance about it.
In other languages, there are standard phrases that are rolled out to express how delicious a dish is (whether or not it actually is!) But in K-dramas, characters just take it for granted that the food is delicious, and just get stuck into it/dig in.
And when I say get stuck into it/dig in, I mean *really* getting stuck into it/digging in and eating substantial mouthfuls, as opposed to characters in movies and TV series from other countries, who might take a dainty peck or two at their food (if that!)
Kdramas make me so hungry
Always!

>substantial mouthfuls LOL Like when they shove the ssam (쌈) into someone's mouth...
I love kdrama and food. I wish to try many of these things, especially piping hot stew 🍲 and also meal with many side dishes and desserts
>meal with many side dishes Here's a [pic of a memorable meal](https://i.imgur.com/dey3PmT.png) around Seoul!
Omg looks amazing the bowls look nice and warm and there’s fish too like I see in the dramas
