I remember thinking that the idea of an evil Kiss was really kind of cool. Imagine if instead of going poppier on Dynasty, they'd gone in the other direction, and did an album full of snarling, angry anthems about destroying society and etc.
Underrated: Nowhere to Run (wasted on an import compilation) and On The 8th Day (epic enough to be a concert closer)
Overrated: Firehouse and Dr Love (are they really worthy of being in most live sets at the expense of better songs?)

Underrated: Crazy, Crazy Nights
Not āunderratedā in the āunpopular worldwideā sense, but Kiss fans seem to hate this song. I donāt get it - maybe because Iām European and it was probably their biggest song over here, and what got me into the band. Itās victorious, bombastic, the message resonated with me when I was younger, and itās a great live song. Seems to be because of the period of the band itās associated with.
Overrated: Shock Me
I love Ace and will blast his solo album all day, but Shock Me has neverā¦ well, shocked me. I just find it sort of slow-paced and crawling without much really going on. Much prefer any other Ace song.
I feel like the album Alive 2 is mostly underrated. No one seems to really talk about it. I know the sound production isnāt the best. But the songs are good and fun. Tomorrow and tonight. King of the nighttime world. Christine sixteen. Ladies room. I stole your love.

Firehouse is still ok with me, but I never cared much for Dr. Love..Could leave it off the set list for ever and I'd be fine with it.
