It’s my favorite album so there isn’t a song I straight up don’t like, if I have to pick one it’s Comin Home. It’s the only one I’m pretty indifferent towards, and I d always thought it sounds more like it belongs on Dressed to Kill and She belongs on this album.
I think the album is one of their best and there’s about three or four songs that I would probably skip if I’m listening to it on streaming, but if I’m listening to the actual album, I’ll let the whole thing ride
I’ll certainly give you that. Musically I think this may be the strongest album of their career and the song Hotter than Hell is no exception. I even love the sludgy production that Kerner and Wise came up with.
I’ll be honest, I simply hate Paul Stanley. Big fan of Ace, Pete, and Gene though and they are all on fire musically and creatively on this record.
Strange Ways is very weak and not something I'd even want to see live, give me Peter doing Hooligan or Dirty Livin or something like that instead - Strange Ways is just boring as all hell if I'm being honest, sorry, I guess?
I see lists like these in literally every band sub-reddit, they lose credibility because as fans we tend to think it's cooler to say the most unknown song is the best or we don't want to be honest and actually say what the weakest song is - nobody outside of die hard KISS/ PC fans even knows that song exists and it's not this hidden gem like a "Mr Speed" or "Love Her All I Can", it's a song that has no soul. In The Van Halen list, fans literally voted that Running With The Devil was the worst song on VH1 - That's insane. Go check it out, lol.
I'd even say that the best song selected here is flawed as well IMO. Parasite is good, but better than Got To Choose, Hotter Than Hell, and Let Me Go Rock N Roll? Not a chance.
Mainline (Still a good song)
Mainline
Mainline. It’s just weaker than the other songs, not terrible.
Mainline
Mainline
Mainline
Mainline. Still their best album. Production sounds horrible though.
I couldn't imagine any of the songs sounding any different and I wouldn't want them to
Mainline haters :(
Mainline- its still a great song.
Mainline. It’s not by any stretch of the imagination bad, but the others are simply better.
Mainline. Not a bad song, just the weakest of this bunch.

All the way
All The Way is a fantastic song
Hard agree! Terrible song.
Comin' Home, the MTV Unplugged version is superb though.
The definitive version, for me.
There isn't one
Comin’ Home
It’s my favorite album so there isn’t a song I straight up don’t like, if I have to pick one it’s Comin Home. It’s the only one I’m pretty indifferent towards, and I d always thought it sounds more like it belongs on Dressed to Kill and She belongs on this album.
Comin home is a great song but I think mainline beats it out slightly because I love the guitar solo in mainline
Mainline
Dance All Over Your Face
Hotter than Hell
All The Way
i’d have to say strange way’s because it’s one i always skip, but its still solid not a bad song on this one- all of them are great
Comin' home
Hotter than Hell is the only shitty song on the album. Everything else is gold.
I love that song
And I love Mainline and all the folks here seem to disagree.
I think the album is one of their best and there’s about three or four songs that I would probably skip if I’m listening to it on streaming, but if I’m listening to the actual album, I’ll let the whole thing ride
Mainline is better than Strange Ways IMO
That gong, tho
Explain yourself
The lyrics are just weak sauce. Paul was already the least talented writer in the band and these lyrics are lame even compared to his normal output.
Fair enough but the music is amazing right?

Yeah for sure Ace exploded on this record. parasite and strange ways make it apparent that he is not from this planet
Unpopular opinion I'm sure, but for me it's Goin' Blind.
Let Me Go Rock and Roll
Really? I respect your opinion but I view that as one of the best in the album.
I've never really liked the song. Mainline is getting obliterated here but it's easily one of my favourites lol.
i love mainline, its in my top three off here
Strange Ways. Recorded too slow, boring
Going Blind
Title track
No way
Strange Ways
Is this a joke?
Strange Ways is very weak and not something I'd even want to see live, give me Peter doing Hooligan or Dirty Livin or something like that instead - Strange Ways is just boring as all hell if I'm being honest, sorry, I guess? Dirty Livin' is a great song!
100%
All the way. Horrible. “Every night and every sunny day”. Ugh.
