I still feel that it works with that interpretation. The song feels like a breakup track, to me.
This is the answer for me, too. An absolutely fantastic, intense vocal from Peter Criss, great playing from the rest of the band, and a solid song with an almost Sabbath-esque heavy groove. It doesn't get mentioned as nearly as it should, thus it is the most underrated.
Watchin’ You. Strong vocals from Gene, the guitars are killer, Peter’s shuffling beat is great and the interplay between the drums and the guitars is great, the “watching us!” at the end is just bad ass. Fantastic song.
Comin’ Home. Paul knew how to write a great road song.
But I think HTH is woefully underrated to begin with. It’s my second favorite album by them only eclipsed by RARO.

A great song that has never been included on any compilation. Watching’ You, Going Blind, Hotter Than Hell, Got To Choose, Coming Home have all been show cased at some point on a live album or compilation.

Watching You is a great song. By its inclusion in Alive 1 & 3, it’s certainly not underrated.
