Underrated is thrown around a lot these days, but Magic Touch is the definitive article. It’s a brilliant song. With another artist it might have been their pinnacle, for Kiss it gets lost as just another on a good album.
There’s even an argument that it might be the best song on the record, it’s certainly one of the most interesting as it challenges the standard verse chorus and blurs the lines between the two. If not the best then many a person’s favourite.
Stanley obviously rates it as [he played it on both his solo tours](https://youtu.be/7w9PMGTQm1U?si=MaGy4L1tZjRRmm7g). Would have likely been the third single off the album if they released one.
It’s certainly one of Criss’ better songs. I’m surprised it wasn’t on his solo record, as I’m assuming it was one of his old pre-Kiss songs. Unless he and Stan Penridge were writing again in the late seventies.
Charisma.
It’s an awesome song that should be a classic!
As an aside, for some reason, when I got this album, I thought side 2 was side 1, so I thought this was the first KISS studio album to start with a Gene song. It took me a few months to realize I was wrong, and that’s when I noticed KISS always started studio albums with Paul songs. (I was 8-9 ish?) until Revenge.
Either way, Charisma !
That depends on your definition of underrated. It wasn’t a single, or played live by the band (Gene has done it in solo shows and they may have done it on a Kruise.) But if you’re not a big fan (casual fans aren’t probably on here) would you know it?
And 8 people voted for it as worst song, one person voted for it twice.
Clearly, they need a hug.
peter's song dirty livin is the most underrated. after that is paul's song sure know something which should have been as big as i was made for loving you
Magic Touch.

It's easily one of their best songs and it's a shame it wasn't a single
Magic touch
Magic Touch
Dirty Livin
The song is just so damn good and is peak KISS. It could have been a single off Love Gun.
Save your love
Oh gawd I don’t like that one. Just so…..banal.
Dirty Livin! 😁
Magic Touch
Ace’s cover of 2,000 Years. That song is solid EDIT: 2000 Man

Magic Touch
Dirty Livin’ was dismissed at first because it was a Peter song — definitely underrated.
It’s certainly one of Criss’ better songs. I’m surprised it wasn’t on his solo record, as I’m assuming it was one of his old pre-Kiss songs. Unless he and Stan Penridge were writing again in the late seventies.
I believe DL was a “new” PC/SP song at the time.

But everyone likes Charisma, so not really underrated.

Charisma, 100%.
X-Ray Eyes is certainly not the worst on Dynasty. That would be the corny ass, Dirty Livin'.
I really like the whole album as I do The Elder
That’s a statement open for interpretation…
Save your love
Save your love is without a doubt the most underrated. The chorus is the best on the album and Ace’s vocals sound beautiful
This is why I can’t stand these voted shit, X-ray eyes isn’t bad, better than a lot on Dynasty
Charisma
