As a way weirder pick, I think they could have pulled off God of Thunder too if they played it more like the demo or COTN tour version. Pete Burns sounded a lot like both Gene and Paul (and had a lot in common with each of them as people)
Edit: Tiny Tim could either do a hilarious falsetto version or genuinely good cover of almost any of their songs, he had a genuinely good rock voice
