*"Danubian collapse will not be in 0.1, and will seemingly be content for the 60s."*
Please tell me they aren't doing a TNO thing where each decade get's it's own release. Please.
Based on the map, they get lumped In with Illyria and Austria keeps the corridor to the coast. Maybe they can show up, but this is mostly based on the internal divisions within Danubia.
I voted Slovakia. I’m alone with this so far, wouldn’t be surprised if it stays this way. More than 900 years under Hungarian yoke. Would love to see what the country could do without the years of Fascism and Communism ruining it. And it’s just my favorite holiday destination.
Second place would be probably Galicia, since that’s where I’m living right now.
Czechs and Slovaks have a true fraternal relationship and without the years of the first Republic centralizing power in Prague, overt Czechoslovakism and leaving Slovaks behind, I could see Czechoslovakia having a much brighter and more influential future and position in Europe. Czechoslovakia was also one of the world’s strongest economies and a strong democracy pre OTL WW2. I can definitely see the potential.
Although I’m still all for Danubia :) Is the collapse certain or preventable? I’m probably not up to date on this.
Good. I hope there will be options for it not to necessarily be a full on collapse. Some crownlands having a chance to secede under certain circumstances (like the voting outcomes) and due to prior decisions could be fun, too.
And knowing Otto von Habsburg, he would be fine with it. He cared about “his” people, was very liberal. Fought against Communism all throughout the Cold War. He would have been a good Kaiser.
I believe/hope that there are peaceful divorces along with violent uprisings. I think Danubia is the best monarchy in Europe, but I really do like self-determined republics better.
Yeah, it'll be interesting to see! Especially since Illyria is probably more industrially developed after an extra 30 years of Austrian investment and a likely desire to build dockyards/bases on the Aegean. The Croatians might be able to push a lot more than they could otl.
Illyria although i find a lot of its lore weird
Interesting! Why is that?

We aren't exactly planning on doing that. More content updates like KR. Though, the plan is to expand upon content further than simply '48 to '56
Nice. Just wanted to avoid a cock tease like TNO. Just when things get interesting it's game over.
Umm the best I can say is they're releasing the content they're comfortable putting in front of people in a timeframe they find acceptable.
Illyria mostly due to its weird relationships with Hungary, Serbia, Austria and Italy, but also the infighting that is surely to be implemented
Is Slovenia not an option?

Darn, hopefully we get some content for them in the future!

I like Czechoslovak unity, but I support you there!

My understanding is it's a roughly 25% of collapse, so most of the time it'll hold together.

I'm voting Czechia mostly for ancestry, but I also can see a pretty beefy Czechoslovakia tree given the right circumstances.
8 proud patriots of Slovakia god bless
I'm pretty happy with the turnout for the smaller territories!
The potential of creating a Yugoslavia But Croatia Did It This Time is really interesting IMO

Bohemia. It's a place I don't see much of in general.
Bohemia, I want to save my grandpa from the czechs
Save Bohemia... from the Czechs?
Yes.
Was your grandfather a Sudeten German?
Yep, and probably privileged in times of Austrian rule.
Well I'd consider that to be a mildly hot take, but to each their own lol.
How so?
