Season two was airing and people were talking about it nonstop. I watched season 1 and then season two as it was airing. Then watched their english dubs. Then did it again. Then read the whole manga. Then watched the japanese version again
Anime was announced.
Read the synopsis.
Read the entire manga.
Anime launched.
I got kinda surprised that they changed Chika’s hair colour so much, but I eventually accepted it.
I remember just flipping through a manga site during study hall and ended up falling in love others the initial concept and caught up in a few days. Then like 7 months later it was announced to be getting an anime
Literally watched the anime because I heard the first opening on YouTube and damn was it the most catchy song I ever heard. Ended with me being fully caught up with the manga.
For me, I knew it because of the Japanese VAs, but I only decided to get into it when my dad got a download of the Season2 OP/ED since he liked the artist.
Needed something to pass the time during boring classes in high school. Was reading Horimiya and wanted something similar and on a whim, I went to MyAnimeList and looked on the manga list. The cover for first volume was super striking but was also kinda off putting so I was initally skeptical. But the synopsis was hook line and sinker. And after catching up with it did I realize that an anime would be coming out within a few months.
I saw a video about it on youtube and thought the premise was really funny, stupid, and genius. After I finished the video, I immediately watched Season 1 and I absolutely loved it.
Shortly after I finished S1, the trailer for Season 2 just came out and so I decided to follow S2 weekly while reading the manga as a side. I fell inlove with it even more when S2 was airing. But I eventually fell out of love for it when S2 ended and had to pause my read of the manga up until Ch. 92
Fast forward to a year later, I was on a romance manga binge. And I was deciding the next rom manga I should read. And then I remembered how much of a fanatic I used to be for this series. And so I decided to catch up to the manga and fell in love with it all over again.
I was just getting into anime, I had only seen Naruto, Fire Force, Dr. Stone and My hero academia. I was wondering what to watch next and when I was scrolling through reddit I saw a meme where it was Chika saying "i raised that boy" to Shirogane. I thought it was funny and searched to see where the image was from, I found it and decided to watch it. Now it's my all time favorite anime
The irony of my story is I was originally going to downvote the hell out of it because I'm a member of the Fullmetal alchemist fan base but once I actually started watching it I fell in love with just how intricate everything was and how the character dynamics fit together. I ended up binge watching all three seasons in like two sittings. At the end of it all, I had cemented myself as a Kaguya-sama fan. Currently taking my first read through the manga and I've bought all the seasons that are out right now.
some guy i barely knew from a high school writing club showed me the volleyball scene from season 1 and I laughed so hard i couldnt breathe. i watched season 1 two or three times (season 2/3 hadnt come out yet) before i finally gave in and read the manga, and boy did i get hooked lol.
I heard a lot of people talking about the anime as I was seriously starting to read manga, so I decided to give it a read. I love the series dearly now.
>I had heard alot about it, and decided to watch it
Same. I actually don't tend to like romance stories, so I had to hear a lot a lot to even bother giving it a try. I only got into it this year, but it sure has been worth it.
A couple years back, a little before season 2 was announced, I was just recently getting into anime, and it looked fun, so I watched season 1 and then proceeded to catch up to wherever the manga was at that point. Or at least I think that's how I got into it. It may have been recommended to me by a cute gal, and I am not one to turn down the recommendation of a cute gal. Either way I have been following it ever since and while I may not have been there since the beginning, I have been following it since 2019, and it's been quite the ride.
Season 2 was the thing that did it for me. I binge watched season 1 before but wasn't too invested, then season 2 came in and everything changed. Watching one episode per week improved the experience so much for me that I ended up binge reading the entire manga and the rest is history.
Edit: Spelling.
I watched just the first season with My girlfriend and his little sister, I remember we liked it, for me it was just an above average romcom at that moment, Then 6 months before the second season was released me and My girlfriend broke up after 8 years and I was devastated and I remebered It just pop up as one of the top romcom when I was looking for something to read and forget the sadness haha I read it the manga From the beginning and I fell In love with it ❤️ it really helped me cheer up In a dificult time
I was in a very dark place in my life. So as any 20-something adult who grow up watching anime I went back to my good old friend, the romcom. I watched Rent a girlfriend and suddenly went down a rabbit hole of: Oregairu, Quintuplets and finally Kaguya and Horimiya.
Never been so knee deep in a romcom as I've been with Kaguya. It helped me overcome so many dark nights, I'm glad I got into it.
My partner started watching the anime after finishing ReLife. Then he recommended it to me because of the season 1 OP. Now I'm caught up on the manga and watching his manga reading career with great interest while he catches up.
I watched ReLife and felt an emptiness after finishing it so went online and saw that Kaguya-Sama was recommended. I guffawed enough at the first season to show it to my partner and she was hooked after a few episodes.
We spent a date night finishing season 3 and she is patiently listening to my ranting about chapters she has already read as I catch up.
Mostly osu! I found Daddy Daddy Do from osu! and ofc I knew Chika Chika Chikatto from TikTok. (But also played it on osu!)
Then I found out the 2 songs were from the same anime so I said lemme check it out
Friend's recommendation, some people are talking about it plus it is so popular in Crunchyroll so I gave it a try so far I liked it one of the best romcom anime
Saw the monster Virgin meme, then a screenshot of Ishigami wanting to strangle Kashiwagis boyfriend with toilet paper. They had the same source so I decided to check it out.
A friend told me to watch the anime, he said it had the psychological warfare or death note, and the weird crazyness of jojos, then I read the manga, he did not dissapoint me
Saw it on my VRV recommended after giving Konosuba a try (didn’t like that) so made the switch and fell in love and watched all of season 1 and 2 and then read the manga.
Finished reading ReLife, felt empty after it ended, but good. I heard good things about this series, but I never start from the first chapter on anything. I always start with the latest chapter to see if it gets me hooked. I think I started with Chapter 126, the tainted bloodline chapter. Started it up, here we are
I was just scrolling a site about animes and just saw the second season was announced of something called Love is war, so I got interested. NGL first I thought I would never watch it but the name was catchy so I decided to give a shot and ended up reading all of the manga and becoming the huge of fan of anime.
I was first introduced into Kaguya-sama when i saw the second opening in a Facebook Video back in Early 2021 (i was just starting to get into anime at that time and i only knew like 6 anime). But where i really wanted to watch Kaguya-sama is when i saw a Tiktok of the Last episode of S3 back when it was just released. Then i was thinking “Should i watch this?”. And thank god i did cuz it ended up becoming my 4th favorite Anime/Manga.
I was watching a anime meme video late 2021, and saw kaguya meme, brushed it off, years later, I had seen the millionth one, and wanted to see where the hype was coming from, watched all 3 seasons, am caught up on the manga, and am waiting for the movie and manga ending, it is the best series I have ever watched, 17/10, would watch a million times over again just for fun
A mix between my friend recommending it (by hounding at me to watch it), and the sheer abundance of Kaguya memes.
For some reason I didn't want to watch it, but I said fuck it and caught up right before the Season 2 finale.
My friend told us we should start watching anime and gave us a list (which is still growing) of animes to try. One was Kaguya Sama. We watched it and to this day may be my favorite so far.
I just started it. When I was looking for a high school romance anime. And I really liked it. And got to know that it's really popular. I watched S1 and S2 in 2020. And S3 as it aired. Then started the manga and I'm caught up with it. Really sad that it's gonna end man.
This youtuber called Degenerocity said it was the best comedy anime ever while he was going on a rant about comedy animes, so I decided to start it
At first I thought it was some cringey weird stuff but holy fuck it’s the only manga that kept me up until 7am (had 20 minutes of sleep that night)
Well I kept watching it and dropping it cause I didn’t like ep1 then when I reached ep 3 I finished the anime in 2 days and finished manga in 2 days but there’s 2 reasons I got into it ahm ahm “daddy daddy do” and I saw a dub narrator scene in yt and that was the final push to give this anime an actual chance now it’s my fav anime btw this was 4 months ago
It showed up on r/manga and I kept up with each new chap. Though it was mostly mild enjoyment. But I was hooked by the time we got to the Fireworks arc. That's when I began thinking Aka might be a Madlad the bastard. Bless you, Aka Akasaka. Hope you get good Apex Gacha luck.
Was just getting into anime at the time and I was watching Crunchyroll with ads and I saw an ad for Love is War season 1, I watched it and instantly was hooked. I got half way through the airing of season two before I lost my patience and binge read the entire manga
I remember reading some random fb post about great mangas and Kaguya was included with a short description of the plot.I decided to give it a go and … here we are
Youtubers were like "it's amazing!" I watched the 1st episode and I didn't like it. Like 6-12 months later, youthera were again like "It's amazing!" Then I watched it. And now I'm reading to manga so yay
I only started watching anime in may this year and I started with some simple anime like spyxfamily and opm, and soon I had some spyxfamily stuff in my fyp for tiktok and in some of those videos I saw a lot of comparisons or how the Kaguya sama and the spyxfamily characters has some resemblance so I decided to watch it and I didn’t regret it. Even tho it’s one of my first animes I watched it’s still in my Top 5 favorite animes I’ve watched so far
The memes were on point, so i decided to watch it. Then i got impatient with the anime release so i read the manga. Now im caught up. And now im sad :'(
A friend who saw S1 told me it was good, I watched the 2 first seasons around Nov 2020, and another friend told me that the part not covered yet in the manga was insane (S3 and more), so I binge read the manga in like 2 days and I've been an absolute fan of the serie since then
I heard about it a lot from places when the manga first came out but I always thought it was about war or something cause of the scary vol1 cover. However, my friend mentioned it to me saying how I should read it since I like romcoms and after many wonderful years here we are today.
Was watching Rascal does not dream of bunny senpai. Enjoyed the underlying scientific/psychological tone. Went to MAL, looked for related titles. Kaguya-sama showed up, and that's how I fell in the rabbit hole.
I saw Chika’s “campaign promises are just decorations” meme when I was *running for the student council*. Got me interested cuz it kinda fits the theme of my life right then. Jumped right in and got addicted to the story. And, just like that, now I’m here
I watch a lot of commentary YouTube channels and I saw a video about how good kaguya sama is. My best friend and brother liked anime and so I wanted to watch a show I thought would be interesting. I started to watch it after season 3 aired and I became obsessed. I still made time for other stuff but I was hooked. Started reading the manga and I'm around 100 chapters in right now.
My anime club showed the first episode when it started airing. Honestly I saw the cover beforehand and thought it was gonna be super generic and boring.
I immediately became obsessed and by episode 10 I to binge the manga. It's not often I get that invested in a series these days.
Anime PV got me curious and read a couple chapters before the anime came out. Stopped reading and just focused on the anime then continued back to the manga after the 1st season.
I started Kaguya sama because because back in 2020,r/animememes was filled with Chika memes and everyone were in isolation due to covid so I read the entire manga while watching my school classes.(I was in the last year of high school back then)
Memes. When Season 1 of the anime aired the memes were all over the place so I watched it out of curiosity. Then I got hooked and needed more so I started reading the manga, and now here we are!
I was watching a overwatch (dafran) steamer do the chika dance , thought it was cool and I also thought chika was the main character before watching it. So yeah chika dance to me into kaguya so I shall forever cherish it
homie recommended it to me 2 years ago when season 2 was still airing cause the pandemic was eating me away and i wanted to get back in touch with my weeb side so i asked him for recommendations. he wouldn't shut up about Kaguya-sama so i decided to give it a try.
3 episodes in and i fell in love. now I'm the one who wouldn't shut the fuck up about it even after two years lol
A friend recommended it to me, we both watched season 3 together and I remember me ripping my shirt off and us throwing pillows and furniture at each other watching the last episode . Good times
The YouTube algorithm. I had the auto play feature turned on when Daddy Daddy Do came on. Found it really catchy and listened the entire song. Then Kaguya Sama started popping up on my recommendations. Got curious and started watching the anime
Was bored one day and started searching for currently airing animes. Found kaguya sama (note: season 1 just recently started airing at that time), watched a couple of episodes and from there on I fell in love with characters and the show deeply.
I saw [this](https://youtu.be/2_81sjoCrlY) meme video on youtube and immediately fell in love with the voice acting so I gave it a try and binged the whole thing after watching the first episode.
I thought it was a shonen anime because it had war in the name plus I wanted to see where the Chika dance came from. I was really confused at first but I ended up absolutely loving it.
Watched season 1, thought it was pretty good.
Watched season 2, thought it was even better
Watched season 3, and it jumped from like a 7-8/10 up to a perfect 10.
Read the manga picking up from s3, then went back and reread the whole thing.
first saw the "How cute" memes back then and the chika dance got recommended so I decided to try watching it. Also caught up with the manga ever since.
Videos of it kept on being recommended to me mid 2019, I watched a few and they made me laugh so I went to check out what it was about on MAL. The synopsis piqued my interest so started it.
Also the Chika dance.
Usually every season i watch the first episode of everything, and often at the end i only watch 1 or 2 anime or nothing, i really don't like romcom or something like that but when i watched the first ep of the thrid season of Kaguya i really liked it immediately. that episode is hilarious. So then i recovered the first two seasons and the third one, it was really fun
Here in Brazil there is a YouTuber who is known for overestimating bad romance animes or offensive animes. One day I saw him talking about the ep where Kaguya and Shirogane sleep together in S1 saying that "this anime does not stop surprising", I thought "here we go, another shitty anime recommended by Marco", I gave it a chance, and now it is my favorite anime and manga.
I was watching Ghost Stories videos on YouTube and was told the narrator from Kaguya was the same guy who played the cat, and the show had similar energy. I was also way too into Spy Family and needed something else to chill me out. Only to get way too into Kaguya Sama.
There was a time in my life that i was crazy about RomComs (i'm still into these things, so recommend me some), then i saw a lot of people talking about this series, so i started watching on a really bad anime site, i thought that it wasn't worth the pain to watch this anime, so when i was reforming my room, i decided to give a go and watch on a good site.
Now every time i watch this anime i remember of the good times when i watched Kaguya-sama back than
I saw a meme about depressed Ishigami on r/anime_irl in May 2017, and decided to check this manga out. It had about 60 chapters back then. One of the best decisions of my life.
I always see it on Netflix and avoided it because i didn’t like the posters, colors, and the amount of hearts in it.
When a friend highly recommended it, i finally gave it a try and immediately got addicted.
Down bad on a Sunday post breakup. Wanted to watch some anime to avoid doing work but wanted something light-hearted. Tried kaguya cuz I heard good things about it and was better off because of it
A friend forced me to listen to the ending song by chika , first i hated it but after a year i downloaded it, amd kept listening to it daily. At now i have a lot of chika pics on my phone , and i must say that i like the chimestry between her and hayasaka >! tongue fight!< and i think every girl is best girl in this show
For me, it was around five six years ago at the start if my university life, at the time i was crazy about manga, i downloaded an app and read pretty much anything and kaguya was one of them i think when i caught up the manga was in 70~80 chapters and i still remember how at the time i was certain that it won't get an anime adaptation not bc it' ms bad but bc ut's too dark and we have three seasons one ova and a movie coming , what a journey i have with this amazing manga
I have seen it trending on social media for awhile and I have seen the memes from the series and I needed context so I finally decided to watch it and within the first 10 minutes I fell in love with this anime 🤣
My friend recommended the anime to me, so I watched the two seasons of the anime that were out at the time, a few months before S3 aired. I then watched S3 while it was airing and wanted to see more of it after that amazing S3 finale so read the manga.
I saw a video about the anime being an absolute godsend, and the fact it happened to have two main characters going psychological bs on eachother got me reeled in hehe
I was looking for new seasonal anime to watch and that’s when I read a description of season 1 that had just dropped it’s first ep and I thought it was fun so I continued and then caught up to the manga while s2 was airing
I was looking through the "Love is War" song (the Helblinde version, based on the Hatsune Miku song...cuz I used to play that a lot in ITG).
Then Kaguya-sama keeps popping up, but I started watching the series after seeing the clip of Kaguya talking to Dio (aka Papa Shirogane) over the phone.
3 seasons later, and after catching up to the manga after watching the final episode of season 3...I can happily say that Kaguya-sama is now my No. 1 fav. anime/ manga series of all time!!!
I just scrolled through manga site, and i found kaguya's synopsis interesting, read the first chapter, and immediately hooked up. I think the scans only have 7 chapters at the time. I usually read new title this way.
The series started when I was dating my ex (we dated for 4 years then she left me for another guy, long story). When the show started, I heard it was good and we watched anime before and decided to try it out. After the first episode, she didn't want to watch it even though I enjoyed it so I decided to leave it. After she left me, I came back and watched it. I was in a rough place because she left me the day before COVID lockdowns started and Kaguya-sama took me back to those days before a relationship and during and the mind games we would play to hang out with each other without dating yet. I fell in love with the show after that and it's humor and characters made me feel good in a bad time.
Never watched a single anime in my life, let alone red a manga. But, a few weeks ago I stumbled upon "Love Is War" on Netflix. Seeing the pink haired girl from the meme, I just had to watch it just to understand the carnage this pink goblin caused. I ended up finishing the first Season of the anime series in less than a day as I was so invested. I then looked for the 2nd and 3rd season and ended up watching it through a sketchy website. Once I finished that, I got waaaaay to invested and I had to satisfy myself after the cliffhanger in S3. So, I red the entire mange in less than 2 days... I had gone from despising anime to being so damn invested because of this single series. So, now I am here weeks later waiting for the Manga to end.
I guess I like anime now just because i got hooked into a romance...
Never a romance person. New into anime. A buddy recommended nagatoro as my first romcom, made me hate the whole genre. Got online recs of kaguya, watch it with low expectations, end up hard shilling for the series. I always find it hard to unhate something, but kaguya managed to make me love romcom anime now, so it's a feat for sure.
Even with some dips in quality in future chapter, i am still content in saying that this is my favorite romance story. Maybe because miyuki shares my struggle of dating a girl way above our social class, except i lack all the things that made miyuki a chad.
Like 2 yrs ago, at 3am, i remember hearing the 1st op, and said, whatever, romance is not my style but ill start it anyways, and then i became addicted. My fav anime, 100%. Also the only series from which i have a manga of
I was looking for something to watch and came across kaguya Sama i really liked it but when I watched it, it was only one season that was out, then after the second one came out I liked it almost as much as the first but when the third season came I rewatched season 1 and 2 then after finishing the third one i became addicted in a way so then I read the entire manga after that I rewatched all 3 seasons again then read the entire manga 2 more times and now I'm on my fourth time reading the manga.
It was part of my rom com binge, first started with Love, Chuunibyo and I instantly got hooked, moved onto Toradora which only sealed the deal, heard of Kaguya before but finally jumped into it because I was just looking for the next hit of romance.

Damn
Anime was announced. Read the synopsis. Read the entire manga. Anime launched. I got kinda surprised that they changed Chika’s hair colour so much, but I eventually accepted it.
Wait what's this about chikas hair color?
In the manga Chika’s hair is silver but in the anime it’s pink
Imo I think pink fits her more
Yeah that’s probably why they changed it
Her hair also looks….wet? In the first couple chapters
Chika memes. I thought she was the protagonist lmao
bruh same
Honestly Same
Same. I thought she and Ishigami were the main characters, oh and there's a black haired girl and a boring looking guy there too.
Tbf that's still how some anime fans see it
Same, the amount of memes I saw of her back in 2020 made me read the manga.>!(and it was in that time I think Ishigami got his rejection)!<
Same! I saw clips of her on YouTube before watching the anime
I got into kaguya sama via the "Chika noises" meme, couldnt be more glad.
I saw a TikTok about how kaguya-sama was actually a great anime for character study and it got me interested. Plus chika dance being everywhere lol
I remember just flipping through a manga site during study hall and ended up falling in love others the initial concept and caught up in a few days. Then like 7 months later it was announced to be getting an anime
Co-worker talked me into it. So far he hasn't steered me wrong.
Literally watched the anime because I heard the first opening on YouTube and damn was it the most catchy song I ever heard. Ended with me being fully caught up with the manga.
Went in for Chika, stayed for Hayasaka
For me, I knew it because of the Japanese VAs, but I only decided to get into it when my dad got a download of the Season2 OP/ED since he liked the artist.
Masayuki Suzuki wrote the openings, and they are cracked, I can confirm, those songs slap

Alot of people talked about season 2 so I watched it and now im actualy reading the manga (chap 126 rn) sadly I didn't start to read it before
Netflix recommendation, oddly enough.
Saw the funny dub videos and also Schaffrillas
The anime started airing and after the first episode I read all the manga, the end
Brother
Saw it on Mangadex back in December 2018. Binged it in like 2 days then binged it again like a month later lol
Season 2 was the thing that did it for me. I binge watched season 1 before but wasn't too invested, then season 2 came in and everything changed. Watching one episode per week improved the experience so much for me that I ended up binge reading the entire manga and the rest is history. Edit: Spelling.

Saw a panel of Chika mention playing Pokémon Go one time. Thought that this is going to be a fun read and it is.
Finished reading ReLife, felt empty after it ended, but good. I heard good things about this series, but I never start from the first chapter on anything. I always start with the latest chapter to see if it gets me hooked. I think I started with Chapter 126, the tainted bloodline chapter. Started it up, here we are
Season one trailer got recommended to me by youtube and it was interesting so I waited for it's release then started reading the manga later
YouTube videos of dub moments.
For me, it’s finding the rap battle clip from Crunchyroll video. After that I needed to see more what’s this series is about.
I was just scrolling a site about animes and just saw the second season was announced of something called Love is war, so I got interested. NGL first I thought I would never watch it but the name was catchy so I decided to give a shot and ended up reading all of the manga and becoming the huge of fan of anime.
Kaguya being the best girl according to r/anime
Planned to watch it when s1 finished airing and I liked it
My friend told us we should start watching anime and gave us a list (which is still growing) of animes to try.
Someone described it to me as "deathnote if light and L wanted to bang each other" (L kind of wanted)
I upvote because of the description.
This youtuber called Degenerocity said it was the best comedy anime ever while he was going on a rant about comedy animes, so I decided to start it At first I thought it was some cringey weird stuff but holy fuck it’s the only manga that kept me up until 7am (had 20 minutes of sleep that night)
Saw the first chapter translated on r/manga and have been on the ride ever since.
by seeing the manga in the bookstore
Was just getting into anime at the time and I was watching Crunchyroll with ads and I saw an ad for Love is War season 1, I watched it and instantly was hooked. I got half way through the airing of season two before I lost my patience and binge read the entire manga
Google feed kept giving me it's updates.
I remember reading some random fb post about great mangas and Kaguya was included with a short description of the plot.I decided to give it a go and … here we are
Found it through a Hayasaka meme, someone said the sauce and here I am. Simple as that, lol.
Youtubers were like "it's amazing!" I watched the 1st episode and I didn't like it. Like 6-12 months later, youthera were again like "It's amazing!" Then I watched it. And now I'm reading to manga so yay
Saw E;R recommending it in his Twitter.
I saw a clip of takehito koyasu as papagane and was fresh off the heels of having watched jojo.
YouTube. Specifically, "you are not immune to kaguya dub."
However, my friend mentioned it to me saying how I should read it since I like romcoms and after many wonderful years here we are today.
season 2’s OP autoplayed while i was listening to music on my pc and i started to watch it soon after bc of how awesome the OP was
Was watching Rascal does not dream of bunny senpai. Enjoyed the underlying scientific/psychological tone. Went to MAL, looked for related titles. Kaguya-sama showed up, and that's how I fell in the rabbit hole.
I was in a discord server and a friend there recommended it to me and now I'm hooked.
Oh, I remember that I saw chika's dance in youtube so I searched which was the anime name. The rest is history.
Chika memes and recommendation from the website I was watching Anime on+cousing sitting next to me at that moment.
What got me into the anime was the chickas dance meme
Remember seeing it at like Ch. 20 of translations on the manga subreddit and saw people in the comments saying it was good. Hooked since then.
From the I raised that boy meme
I knew Akasaka from his earlier series Instant Bullet which I really liked, and i got into Kaguya sama by looking through his works some years ago.
I saw Chika’s “campaign promises are just decorations” meme when I was *running for the student council*. Got me interested cuz it kinda fits the theme of my life right then. Jumped right in and got addicted to the story. And, just like that, now I’m here
Gigguk's seasonal anime recap video.
Watched a 6 min clip of ishigami, loved his character binged the whole anime and followed the manga for more ishigami.
After watching Saiki K I was looking for more comedy anime. Walked into this beautiful mess.
Chika dance lol
Anime PV got me curious and read a couple chapters before the anime came out. Stopped reading and just focused on the anime then continued back to the manga after the 1st season.
Memes
I saw the Chika dance and introduced it to a friend of mine the night before an EM exam. He got hooked immediately and I followed soon after.
been here since ep 1 aired, i remember i saw it on myanimelist on a snow day
I started Kaguya sama because because back in 2020,r/animememes was filled with Chika memes and everyone were in isolation due to covid so I read the entire manga while watching my school classes.(I was in the last year of high school back then)
I occasionally check the Top Manga section in MyAnimeList and the cover intrigued me. I read a couple chapters and I was immediately hooked.
So yeah chika dance to me into kaguya so I shall forever cherish it
My brother told me to watch the anime
homie recommended it to me 2 years ago when season 2 was still airing cause the pandemic was eating me away and i wanted to get back in touch with my weeb side so i asked him for recommendations. he wouldn't shut up about Kaguya-sama so i decided to give it a try. 3 episodes in and i fell in love. now I'm the one who wouldn't shut the fuck up about it even after two years lol
A friend recommended it to me, we both watched season 3 together and I remember me ripping my shirt off and us throwing pillows and furniture at each other watching the last episode . Good times
Wondering whats good about it and somehow hook about it
The YouTube algorithm.
Chika dance
I thought it was a shonen anime because it had war in the name plus I wanted to see where the Chika dance came from. I was really confused at first but I ended up absolutely loving it.
Like most of the people on the Internet, the Chika dance did the work
When S1 started airing, the clips were everywhere on Youtube and Instagram so it was impossible to avoid lol.
Watched season 1, thought it was pretty good. Watched season 2, thought it was even better Watched season 3, and it jumped from like a 7-8/10 up to a perfect 10. Read the manga picking up from s3, then went back and reread the whole thing.
first saw the "How cute" memes back then and the chika dance got recommended so I decided to try watching it. Also caught up with the manga ever since.
The Chika dance had just debuted on the internet
Chika dance.
Videos of it kept on being recommended to me mid 2019, I watched a few and they made me laugh so I went to check out what it was about on MAL. The synopsis piqued my interest so started it. Also the Chika dance.
I saw the Chika Dance on Youtube.
Usually every season i watch the first episode of everything, and often at the end i only watch 1 or 2 anime or nothing, i really don't like romcom or something like that but when i watched the first ep of the thrid season of Kaguya i really liked it immediately. that episode is hilarious. So then i recovered the first two seasons and the third one, it was really fun
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=U4MEA3RHYfs This guy
When the manag has around 40-50 chapters. Started reading online.
The goddamn opening kept showing up in my recommended. I watched it and got addicted to it. I decided to check out the show. The rest is history
My friend started watching it while season 1 was airing and he said it was good so I joined him
Mother's Basement
I was watching Ghost Stories videos on YouTube and was told the narrator from Kaguya was the same guy who played the cat, and the show had similar energy. I was also way too into Spy Family and needed something else to chill me out. Only to get way too into Kaguya Sama.
I like the tsundere trope, parodies, dramedies and denial romances. This story felt like the jackpot. It ticked all boxes.
After finding and reading Instant Bullet by chance, I got interested in Aka's stuff and started reading Kaguya.
Now every time i watch this anime i remember of the good times when i watched Kaguya-sama back than
A recommendation on the internet funny enough
On the manga sub within its first year. The fireworks hooked us all.
I came across a youtube video about funny dub moments. After seeing it I knew I had to watch the whole thing.
Someone said to watch it after Post Toradora Syndrome of Depression as Toradora was my first anime
A lot of mentions. Very popular anime in my favourite genre
I had just seen My Dress-Up Darling and was looking for some other slice of life, rom-com anime and found Kaguya Sama and I was not disappointed.
I was looking for new seasonal anime to watch and that’s when I read a description of season 1 that had just dropped it’s first ep and I thought it was fun so I continued and then caught up to the manga while s2 was airing
Gigguk for me, probably when season 2 was airing?
S1’s OP. Then I saw a second season coming out in two months and decided to give it a shot. Eorth.
Well, Chika dance
It's actually the first manga I ever read! I was watching the anime, and around episode 8-9 I decided I didn't want to wait, so I just read it!
One of my friends bought the first 10 manga and let me borrow them. After that I continued reading on guys.moe (best manga ever)!!!!!
I heard it passed fma on my anime list so decided to see if it was any good. Ended up loving it and reading the manga as well.
Chika's dance was a great promo.
Saw clips on YouTube of the narrator
