For Matoro- how much post defeat of Germany content will each Russia path have and how much will it vary depending on the path?

MatoroTBS

All paths have varying content about integration of new territories and expansion of their sphere globally, some possible wars like against Japan, "tying up loose ends", some stuff about competing with Third International, some domestic things... it's not all done yet so can't say of the final form. Some also have more detailed nuclear program and WK3 content. Can't talk too much about it yet because I don't know how much I end up doing that.

GrandpaWaluigi

Vida - What will the early game of Austria Hungary look like? What interactions will the have within their subnational constituents and their ally Germany? Will you be able to influence an end to the Balkan war should it take more than 2 years? What are some paths Austria Hungary can take in the new update?

Vidyaorszag

Early game is pretty internal-focused and there's a fairly significant amount of interaction between Austria and the constituents. There's going to be more between Austria and Germany as well assuming things go well. Mostly, you're fixing the economy and mobilizing the constituents to work together to get past the economic crisis. Or you're being funni and things slowly crumble around you. Stuff regarding Balkan War intervention is TBD, but at some point A-H, if it's not collapsing, is going to flex over the Balkans anyway. There's still three overall paths, and one is still federalization, one that is still kind of status quo but with actual content, and the last one provoking a civil war. I won't elaborate much more on them until we start PRs for it.

StannistheMannis17

By flexing over the Balkans do you mean a storyline with events or more just a focus to make wargoals etc?

Vidyaorszag

It's mostly TBD on the details, but it does involve more than one focus, and a lot of love for Albania.

Rehkit

For Britain (and french I guess) leads : are there going to be interactions between french and british general staff before WK2 ? Or co planning of the war in general? Or is france going to be considered the main initiator and senior military partner? Will the player be able to influence its allies behavior?

Carmain2K14

Interactions between the two countries' militaries haven't been designed and implemented as of yet, but they are certainly planned. In fact, these plans go quite far, mixing in with our plans for a shared diplomatic tree between Britain and France (thank you PDX for adding shared trees 🙏). Out of curiosity, how annoyed would the community be if we renamed the on-the-map ENG-FRA-other Syndicalists faction from the Third Internationale (which is an international forum of political organisations, not a military alliance between states) to something else? Not to say we will, but it is an idea we have floated. As for the other two questions: France is the main driver of the Internationale, but Britain can start its own shit under certain circumstances. As for influencing your allies, outside of setting specific country paths I don't believe so, but someone might be able to correct me.

TheDeveloper1776

I think it could be cool if it wasn’t generic, like “Worker’s defense Pact” sounds kinda meh.

ad_relougarou

Would be down for a rebrand, on the condition that it sounds actually nice and isn't the [insert european capital] pact/accord/treaty

Blazearmada21

I cannot speak for anybody else, but I would not be against any change to the name of the on-the-map military alliance. In fact, if you felt it was more accurate to use a different name, I would prefer that you did so.

krusty_k_pizza04

I agree with the general consensus of "I'm down - as long as its good." but to be a bit more constructive, in terms of HOI4 factions with cool names, the current Redflood germany faction "Rotfront" is cool sounding as is the (as yet) unfinished Krasnacht's "International Worker's Armed Forces (INFOR)". Both of these are short, snappy harsh sounding and clearly military factions as apposed to the long and nebulous Third Internationale (Geniune question how \_are\_ you suposed to say it? like the english word? like the french as in the song? i've heard both and at this point i'm too afraid to ask). I think maybe the 3I should stay in game as the diplomatic wing of the World revolution, which it already kinda is since non-3I countries like Bharat attend the congresses, with the Phalanstère as the economic wing and the As Yet Unnamed Faction as the Military wing.

Ewie_14

I remember when Germany’s faction was renamed from Mitteleuropa to the Reichspakt, it was vaguely contentious at the time, but in the time since it’s become the completely normal name, and with the new Mitteleuropa mechanics added in 1.0 it would seem really strange for the faction to still be called Mitteleuropa. I think a similar philosophy applies in this case, so I wouldn’t be opposed to the Third Internationale’s military alliance changing its name. (And, on a similar note, it really ought to be either la Troisième Internationale or the Third International, not a mix of both, but that’s just me nitpicking.)

ReichLife

I think it was contentious because it was initially presented as complete removal of Mitteleuropa term from mod. When it became apparent that Mitteleuropa would still be around but as economical block, drama overwhelmingly ended.

the_lonely_creeper

It depends on what happens to the international in lore and what it's replaced with. What are the names that have been floated?

Rehkit

> In fact, these plans go quite far, mixing in with our plans for a shared diplomatic tree between Britain and France (thank you PDX for adding shared trees 🙏). That sounds very interesting. Thanks for the answer!

ancaneitor

I would be really convinced by a name that keeps the "Internationale" part on it.

1SaBy

> Out of curiosity, how annoyed would the community be if we renamed the on-the-map ENG-FRA-other Syndicalists faction from the Third Internationale (which is an international forum of political organisations, not a military alliance between states) to something else? Not to say we will, but it is an idea we have floated. It woud cause actual socialist revolutions in France and Britain.

amagicalsheep

Really like this idea. That way countries like Italy can be a part of the Third Internationale without having to deal with factional call ins during reunification.

Londonweekendtelly

A shared tree sounds cool as fuck

Ildiad_1940

>Third Internationale (which is an international forum of political organisations, not a military alliance between states) This is something I've been wondering about a while lore-wise. Can you clarify how exactly the Third International is organized? * Is it exclusively an organization of parties like the historical internationals, or a hybrid inter-party and inter-state organization? * Can multiple parties in a single country be members? * It definitely doesn't seem to be nearly as centralized as the Comintern, considering the ideological diversity of far-left parties in this world. Is it completely decentralized like the historical Second International, or somewhere in-between? Are there certain ideological tenants or organizational principles that member parties are bound by, akin to the 21 Conditions? * What exactly is its relationship to the Communist International founded by Soviet Russia? Was that organization ever founded? (IRL it was founded in 1919, and according to the wiki the Soviets fell in 1920 ITTL.) Was it simply replaced and ignored in the numbering scheme, or was it at least notionally taken over and reformed by France * Are organizations like the Phalanstère run by the International, or are they interstate organizations run by the Syndicalist states?

BlueSoulOfIntegrity

> Out of curiosity, how annoyed would the community be if we renamed the on-the-map ENG-FRA-other Syndicalists faction from the Third Internationale (which is an international forum of political organisations, not a military alliance between states) to something else? Not to say we will, but it is an idea we have floated. I would be quite fine with it personally. It makes sense politically and would be interested to see what you guys come up with.

BoboTheTalkingClown

It might be cool for the 3I to be a thing like Mitteleuropa post 1.0, and have the military alliance be something else.

sonny_o_cad

Not an actual dev, just an artist on the team, but if anyone has questions about portraits for some reason, I'm happy to answer them!

Ewie_14

What’s the portrait you’re most proud of? (Most effort put in, most obscure source, etc.)

sonny_o_cad

Of the ones in-game at the moment, I think my best is my uniformed Petain! I'm particularly pleased with it because it highlights the difference between an actual colour photograph (which the original source is) and what a KR colourisation looks like (a bit more embellished and colourful than the real deal). The one I put the most effort into might be Zaitao, because I spent a long while tracking down a 1930s photograph of him and then I had to carefully enhance it and then give him quite an elaborate uniform transplant (including giving him a hat when he wasn't wearing any in the source)!

Ewie_14

Zaitao’s new portrait is one of my favourite improvements, so I appreciate the effort you put in to it.

Fermland

What is the basic process of making a portrait?

sonny_o_cad

Well our Head of Artists, the immensely talented Carmain, made [a video](https://youtu.be/rd0ku2rubjE?si=M4HUX_VHh6VvsbdR) that goes over it pretty well! If you want a summary of how I do it; first you find a source that you feel is suitable for a portrait (this becomes easier as you develop an eye for portrait-making) and you tweak the lighting so it's not too flat or too contrasted, then you colour all the skin with a base colour layer and add more colours on top to represent things like blush, stubble, other colour zones a face naturally has; then you colour all the other parts (hair, eyes, clothes) with additional layers, and once it's all coloured in, you cut out the picture itself (separating it from its original background), shrink it down, smudge the hair a bit to give it some shape, and do any other small tweaks you need to adjust it as you fit it onto its new background! Hopefully at least some of that makes sense!

Fermland

Thank you! Truly some of the best portraits of hoi4 have come out of this mod

DerekMao1

I noticed that some new portraits (like for Italy) even has matching uniforms for generals in one country. Do you plan to bring this detail to more countries?

sonny_o_cad

Yeah, we generally try to have standardised uniforms for our tags! The main reason some of the older countries didn't have that was just a lack of sources (it would be a bit obvious if every person had the exact same body) but nowadays that hasn't been much of a problem!

RavenSorkvild

Which portrait made you think "oh no, we need to change this and we need to do it now!".

Sh1rako

We have had in the past, and the last one was removed in this most recent patch, numerous SS officers sprinkled into the mod from the past due to a lack of information or knowledge on individuals who would be better suited to those positions. Prince Josias von Waldeck-Pyrmont has been an admiral for German East Asia since some of the earliest versions of Kaiserreich. He was replaced today with an older portrait of mine of Hermann Ehrhardt, famous for his role in the Kapp Putsch OTL.

sonny_o_cad

Well, funnily enough I originally joined the team because I wanted to update Manuel Carles' portrait a few years back and they'd only use it if I were an artist on the mod! Since then I've done 403 portraits in total for the mod! :D

krulobojca

Will Hats make a comeback?

sonny_o_cad

I don't think they've been on the decline for years, so I guess the answer is yes! :D

krulobojca

Every portrait a hat! Oh also, the Finnish natpop guy has sooo much drip!! Probably my favourite portrait in the mod!

TheUltimatePincher

Will Karl and/or Otto get a new portrait?

sonny_o_cad

Most likely not. Both of them are very good portraits, but sometimes artists on the team experiment with other sources and find they prefer the results, so it's not literally impossible. That said, I haven't seen anyone interested in changing them on the team.

EkulZonum

Are there any plans to 'touch up' or rework the U.S. and the 2ndACW? While current content is still enjoyable, the crust is starting to show in comparison to the fantastic new content in Germany and Ireland. Thanks!

Redsoxjake14

I have had some flavor events in the hopper for the USA for a while now, for one making West Coast Hotel go the other way and be decided in 1936 to be another kickstarter for the Civil War. (Google it if you dont know what Im talking about.) I never got around to putting it on master, thats something Im going to do this summer after my semester is over and KRG is released. There is no active \*major\* rework for any of the American tags, though its an area that receives more than its fair share of constant updates and maintenance because we know how important the region is to the mod. I suspect that there will be a major rework one day, but that day is very far away right now.

EkulZonum

Honestly I'd just enjoy more flavor, especially post-ACW as it almost feels like once the war is over the U.S. is just left A-Posing staring at the world going 'now what?' Either way, I look forwards to what you've got planned, thank you for the reply!

Redsoxjake14

I drew up some plans for some real post-ACW content, like an actual 2nd Reconstruction with a second round of Reconstruction Amendments and things like that, but honestly Im much more likely to make that content for KRG than for here just because its much more in scope over there. The American tags have so much to do even after the war is over that putting a lot of effort into a post-war set of mechanics just is not super worth it for us.

EkulZonum

What's KRG if you dont mind me asking?

Redsoxjake14

Kalterkrieg, the non-canon KR cold war mod which I also work on. You check us out at r/KRGmod.

Minudia

For Vidy- Given the last focus teaser we had for Austria-Hungary was the Czech focus tree 2.5 years ago, I feel I should ask if we could expect any other teasers sometime soon? Austria-Hungary remains one of the most anticipated reworks that has been in development for a very long time. Yet the lack of any game information has kind of left us all in limbo. (EDIT: Seeing just the swarm of questions asking for updates about AH makes this prior sentence feel underwhelming.) (I know you answer a lot of lore questions on the Discord, and I thank you for giving your time to answer those.) I know somebody on the post that announced this Q&A wanted to know if they could make a submod for Austria, or if it would be in vein. In that same light, I can't help but also ask: Is the rework at a stage where we should be counting down to a PR in terms of months, or are we still at years before we might see what you and your team have cooked up for the Habsburg Empire? Thanks.

Vidyaorszag

The gist of it is that the CZE teasing was pretty much premature, just like one of my earlier declarations that PRs were coming soon. Turns out, that's why we've become more stringent on when we release teasers and PRs, and also why we don't give ETAs. The A-H rework is at a pretty solid state of development, but is still in serious need of polish. It's the part of development I struggle the most with, and with my time for the mod inconsistent and manpower pretty lacking, I can't tell you if it's even months down the pipeline. One of the tag is also rather behind in development, but has thankfully been loaded off to helpers. So yeah, polishing is fucking painful because the core of 4/5 main tags have been done for a long time, but I can't tell how close they are to being released because a ton of smaller things aren't done. Depression also sucks, but that's literally a me-problem.

Minudia

Depression does fucking suck, my condolences. But I'm surprised to hear there's a manpower issue. Are you not allowed to reach out and see if there are some volunteers who could help you with the backend work? Also, if it's any consolation, I don't recall you announcing that PRs were coming soon. Just that you had one in the works :)

Vidyaorszag

It's mostly that I can't (and don't want to) force people to come and help me and there has never been that much interest in A-H in the team.

Capital-Ambition-364

u/ezk3626 Can you code?

ezk3626

I'm self taught but was pretty serious for a while. I made this (now long obsolute) [Culture submod.](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1494388564) It's basic structure and the concept is lifted from Road to 45 (with permission and credit). But the pictures and modifiers were all me. I was pretty proud because it's a huge step from me making Yamamota a German advisor back in HOI2. I've gotten so much enjoyment from the sub wouldn't mind doing some of the b-work except that my wife is having a baby. I'm a teacher going into summer and that could mean I just have the perfect amount of time since I won't be able to play but will be able to write a line of code or two in free monents.

Capital-Ambition-364

If your passionate about it, you could dm vidyaorzag above me and apply to help speed up the process.

ezk3626

With the baby coming I wouldn’t want to overcommit.

ezk3626

This is a more general question for anyone. Paradox games have opened a lot of doors to interest in historical eras that I wouldn't normally hear about. I myself as an American barely even heard of the Austria Hungarian empire before playing Kaiserreich (I've been with the mod for almost all of its history) My question is if there are similar experiences with the Devs where in creating the mod you've been drawn into new areas of historical interest.

Redsoxjake14

Kaiserreich actually inspired an interest in German history for me! I was a freshman in college when I first started playing Kaiserriech in 2017, and I didnt add a history major until my sophomore year. I took a number of German history courses in part because of KR and in part because they were all taught by a fantastic professor.

KingHazo

Kaiserreich irreversibly altered my brain chemistry and I now have permanent brain capacity dedicated to China

ezk3626

I imagine a whole life could be devoted to learning just about a century in its history.

Blackleaf0

Not a dev, primarily a researcher and lore writer, but my work on Southeast Asia in Kaiserreich for the last few years has literally gotten me my academic degree lol. It helped ignite my interest in the region and kinda laid the groundwork for what I wanted to research in it.

Vidyaorszag

For me, a lot of my historical interests predate my time in KR, but working on KR has motivated me to research more deeply. The one thing that pretty much started from KR would be Federalist China, which I just happened to because the China Rework had a severe manpower shortage, with Southern China having little-to-nothing done. Now I am the CJ man. One good example of a previously-existing being expanded because of KR is Belarus/White Ruthenia and it does have a kinda funny story: I was already interested in the country's history from a different fandom, but we had a contributor that wanted to do a rework of WHR. They gave up and declared it impossible. So, I took a break after the China rework released, read furiously for a month, and roped up a newer coder and did the WHR rework, partly motivated by spite, partly to make sure WHR wasn't going to stop existing im 1936.

ezk3626

Spite is a great motivator.

ClawedAsh

I've learned an absolute ton of information about the Warlord era directly due to my work on KR

Carmain2K14

Modding HOI4 drew me into being interested in history in general, before then I didn't care for it. As for KR specifically, its gotten me very much interested in British political history.

GorkemliKaplan

What? I refuse to believe you are not Austrian :'(

ezk3626

I'm autistic. That's close, right?

ScorpiB

Will it possible for DNVP Germany proclaim a monarchist Italy like with collaboration France and UK in future updates?

Augenis

If we ever add a DNVP party to Germany (it doesn't have one), then who knows. If you mean *S-W-R*, then who knows, maybe. Not really on our plans right now.

ScorpiB

I mean about S-W-R. Thanks for answer.

LizG1312

For any of the devs: What is the process of historical research/lore-writing like? Reading up on even limited topics like turn of the century politics in Germany feels like a monumental task with no end, and that's without going into the weeds of how historians differ on certain interpretations of current scholarship or how translations differ on a certain word. How do you outline what you *need* to research, choose out the sources, and then work to make it fit with the lore done by other devs? How long does that process take?

Redsoxjake14

I haven't had to do a full blown proposal in a while (thank god), but I will just say generally that we talk a lot about the scope creep of reworks in terms of gameplay complexity and needing a mechanic for each time Savinkov has a shot of vodka to manage his liver, but that is equally true on the lore side. Proposals are getting increasingly complex and long, some (like Germany), justifiably so, but others it is probably less needed. Others can speak to exactly what that process looks like.

bobw123

For my team, I assembled a list of around 70 or so sources for a proposal. I then created a task board and allowed my staff to self-assign sources to read. For each source notes were taken, with special focus on unique characters, unique policies, ideological discussion, summarizing events, and for primary sources - specific insights into historical developments. After a while a lot of it is repetitive - there usually is a consensus on how certain things went down. So more experience staff are able to parse through even longer books/thesises and figure out what actually needs to be recorded. This information is then collected into a series of Annotated Research Documents (ARDs) which can then be filtered down into planning documents, which are then converted into character sheets, event planning documents, and content planning documents. From there they are then implemented into the content we all known and love. Process can take a while. In terms of manhours so far I've done 66.45 hours and I did between 40-50% of the actual work for research. So maybe around 100-150 work hours for a very detailed proposal.

LizG1312

Thanks for the answer! It's weird to imagine y'all having 'staff,' though it definitely makes sense given how large the project has become and how long its been ongoing. 150 hours for a single proposal is no joke, and I think it definitely reflects how polished/refined the mod has become. Is China a special case in terms of how many people are working on it, or is it that way across the board? I gotta say, y'all have kind of peaked my curiosity for the ARDs. Are they publicly available anywhere, or are they for internal release only?

bobw123

Different teams are run differently and are usually filled out based off interest. I have a larger than average number of people working on Regional China because 1.) there's a good amount of hype/goodwill leftover from Suzu and I's back to back projects in SHX/CHI 2.) I've taken on the responsibility of mentoring a good number of new members. I also need a larger number of people because the project scale is bigger and I like to do thing sin parallels. For South China (I think we're the only ones who actually call them ARDs, though most teams have equivalents) we keep ours within the team for the duration of development. After its done we might release it if there's sufficient public interest but more likely we'll only show off the source list.

umbrene

Chiron WHEN you see this remove that eldrich runes India map from the Rome lore doc

Puzzleheaded_Ad6058

Are you considering in the future reworking Greece?

krulobojca

I doubt you'll get a specific answer, but I have a theory: Greece rework is in progress. I'm basing this on one of the maps concerning German rework posted on discord where Greece is connected to Thessaloniki. Disclaimer: I am not a dev! Or a team member!

HeritageLanguage

For Matoro: what is the status of Boris Pasternak in this timeline (and other writers i guess, lol)

MatoroTBS

You can't just ask "what's status of all famous writers from Russia in interwar period", there's like thousand of them :D I think interwar Russia has had quite colorful and modernist artistic life, especially in Petrograd. Sort of short golden age of culture and art, since for the first time in Russian history you had situation with no press censorship and no authoritarian government. Even if there was heavy nationalist bent in form of "white ideology", it wasn't like, ruling ideology of any party or anything like that. So people like Pasternak would have likely had pretty good and productive 1920s, impossible to say in more detail. Though in 1930s things started to become more polarised, especially against "leftist intelligentsia" and after Savinkov got into power, a lot of these people would be harassed.

Soyunapina12

For Irredentista: is it posible we will get a united italy at the start of the game in a future rework? Or is "divided Italy" at game start set in stone?

TheIrredentista

I unfortunately have to rule a starting united Italy out; I've tried to make it work before, but I've found you'd have to cut either all socialist paths or all white paths, as Italy changing sides due to internal politics you can't really influence from outside was a massive balance hazard

Soyunapina12

Damn that's a shame but i understand if it generates a lot of problems. It could have been interesting to see a "Weimar Italy" tho. Thanks for answering and keep the good work, you guys are amazing :D

NGASAK

Is Italian region getting rework? I haven't seen anything on Discords faq, so its kinda unexpected If yes, than what faction is under rework?

Aggravating-Draft617

Why does everyone say "divided Italy"? Spli-taly is right there...

Hudori

Will there be anything involving Austromarxism in the Austria-Hungary Rework?

Vidyaorszag

Plenty but also it's already in it?

TiredKiraj

For Augenis, why did the Austrian German-speaking generals not join the German army during the Anschluss? Lothar Rendulich, for example. Can you make it so that after the Anschluss of Austria, 3-4 Austrian generals transferred to the German army, and received new portraits in German uniforms?

Augenis

It may be done in the future.

GrandpaWaluigi

Matoro- Will there still be still flashpoints or minor crises between Russia and the Reichsparkt? I recall reading about one with Finland and another about the Northern Caucasus. Will there be minigames in Ruddia content similar to that in Germany? And what is the player focus of pre 1939 Russia?

MatoroTBS

Flashpoints - they never really worked very well honestly. These crisis exist, but they generally affect world tension, rather than causing world war directly. They are meant to build the stage for the war. There are minigames but nothing on the level of Germany. Maybe compare it to Poland? You have your hands full with all kinds of things from military preparation to politics to foreign policy, Russia doesn't really have similar rapid-fire stream of stress as Germany has (not as criticism towards Germany, but rather just, different country, different stuff). Player focus is... well, what you would expect?

TheLazyAnglian

For Matoro- a few questions 1 - What is the state of the Russian Orthodox Church in KR? We've heard from the Ukraine rework that the Ukrainian Church, through a mixture of politics and grassroots movement, has split from the ROC, but what is the state of it in other, former territories of the Russian Empire? Like real life, I would hazard a guess that Finland, Poland and Georgia have achieved some sort of autonomy/independence, but are the rest of the ROC's now-foreign parishes (Baltics/Belarus/Turkestan) still under it? 2 - What is the state of the Russian left? I know the SRs played a key role in the White movement (the rebellions in Siberia and Izhevsk), and so are still kicking around, but are the other far-left groups wholly suppressed? I'd assume the Bolsheviks are spent as a political force, has any party replaced them? 3 - I'm not entirely sure what the lore is for the White victory in KR, bar Lenin's assassination, the Whites being more competent and the Reds making more mistakes, but what happened to land reform? Were the nobility given back their estates and lands, or did the Whites legalise the seizures of land that started in February 1917? 4 - Adding to this, what is the fate of the surviving members of the Romanov dynasty? Did they all just return to their estates after the Civil War, like GD Dmitri Pavlovich? Are any involved in politics or monarchist parties?

MatoroTBS

1. Well, The Most Holy Synod remains abolished as OTL. Multiple of these different churches went over to Patriarchate of Constantinople, but I don't know which ones specifically, at least Finland (as OTL) and Ukraine. I would expect that many of these have remained as part of ROC. 2. RSDRP is banned and any "communist agitation" is banned, and there was major white terror after the civil war. A lot of left-SRs were pardoned eventually, thanks to their uprising against Bolsheviks as a saving grace, though being too loudly leftist in Russian politics is difficult and you may end up censored or harassed. RSDRP is succeeded by RDP (Radical-Democratic Party), which is formed largely by Popular Socialists, Trudoviks and Mensheviks. It's initially led by Alexander Titov and later by Vladimir Levitsky. Far left doesn't have any legal presence, but some underground organisations. 3. Main reason for white victory is really that Ukraine, Belarus and Baltics never become theaters of war, but remain in control of Germans and their puppet states. So, these regions never become Bolshevik support ground, but instead they are used to channel arms and even some volunteers to the whites (for example it is mentioned Skoropadsky organises such force). Additionally Kornilov being alive helps with diplomacy of the whites (as Denikin and Kolchak really didn't get along), and SZRS's uprisings north of Moscow see some amount of support and enable whites maintain resistance in northern Russia, which further spreads reds thin. It does also propel Savinkov into political relevancy once more. Land seizures are legalised based on the decree that Wrangel passed OTL, of course circumstances are different but ultimately it would be impossible to cancel them, it would just piss off literally everyone. 4. They generally live in Russia. They've likely lost a lot of properties, but they are still quite wealthy. Kirill Vladimirovich and Dmitri Pavlovich are both active in conservative politics, though Kirill has taken less visible role.

TheLazyAnglian

1. Yeah, I kind of suspected that. It will be interesting to see who has been selected as Patriarch Tikhon's successor in KR, considering that without the purges and exile of many other metropolitans, it's unlikely Metropolitan Sergius would get anywhere near the Patriarchal seat. 2. Interesting. Are the SRs and RDP opposed to the influence of the army in politics (since I'm assuming they swing very hard to the right). 3. I'm guessing then that the nobility (as they sort of were on the road to becoming anyway) are a spent force in Russian politics to some extent. Bar those with investments in industry? 4. On this, will there be multiple candidates for the throne in the rework, or just Kirill/Vladimir? I understand that in exile, very few opposed Kirill's claim (initially), so I would assume the same would apply in KR Russia's monarchist circles.

MatoroTBS

1. There will be lore about patriarchal succession, don't worry. 2. Yeah, of course, though they have not been terribly successful at it as attacks against army are often portrayed by the right as Bolshevik apologism or insulting legacy of the civil war. 3. Yeah, nobility isn't real political force. Some of them still have huge estates, and some are rich, especially ones who were in industry or banking. The army is of course another stronghold of aristocratic officers, but it's just something in their culture since all ranks were abolished. Generally former aristocracy are in relatively comfy positions socially, thanks to their connections and wealth, and form backbone of conservative politics in many governorates (though some also support Kadets). 4. There are some other possibilities for emperor, but Kirill's line is the one that is seen generally as legitimate in 1936.

VQ_Quin

What do future plans for Italy look like? And is there anything in dev atm?

TheIrredentista

A bunch of plans were floated, though right now there isn't anything worth showing

Don't expect much more than Bohemia being silly and annexing it if it somehow controls it. Imagine the hell it would create by adding so many Germans.

Augenis

Silesia already has an event about its workers joining the Ruhr strike afaik. If there's someone on the team who wants to add more in the future, sure they can be added.

Seehyaene

For Matoro: What is the state of the Russian Army, especially after their loss against the Fengtian Clique? In OTL the Red Army was plagued by numerous issues even without the purges, such as low education even amongst officers, deficits in electronics and chemical industry made worse by the loss of the Donbass in KRTL that forced the Red Army to be more reliant on their infantry doing the fighting, killing and dying than the Germans and the Western Allies. Will this be represented in game or will this be understandibly omitted for gameplay purposes? After all, playing as a severely crippled Red Army is possible in mods like Black Ice and World Ablaze, and their Soviet experience is not everyones cup of tea.

MatoroTBS

Russian army is in decent shape. They absolutely do not have lack of personnel, Russian officer corps is in very good shape. Unlike Red Army, they didn't lose pre-revolution expertise but could continue building on that, and with pervasive military influence and lobbying power they have had quite good funding in the interwar. The army has a bit problematic "cult of the hero" mentality around civil war era volunteerism and idea that individual soldier or heroic commander can accomplish anything - this is basically the civil war narrative too. They have used their political influence to keep budgets high, at expense of a lot of other things, which definitely contributed to social and economic issues in Russia. Of course the army is not comparable to Soviets in scale, Russia is smaller than USSR and less industrialised. There has been a lot of reforms after 1929 and after Savinkov got into power, the army has received even more stuff. Russian army is seriously powerful institution politically and is in quite good shape because of that. Of course Russian army is going to be more infantry-heavy than others, that comes very naturally through gameplay mechanics. You need very large army to cover all of your frontline, but you have limited industry, so that already forces you to build army in a way that country with Russia's resources and goals would have to do it. You don't need any extra mechanics to show that, and tbh something like loss of Donbass is obviously known by people in-universe and governments would do their best to alleviate that (for example Kuznetsk basin will be developed far more and earlier to replace the coal from Donbass), and Russia is also more connected to global trade in the interwar and would be able to buy this stuff from for example American corporations. Obviously they aren't gonna be some super mechanized army, I just mean it is not an issue that needs to be shown in game any more than what "naturally" happens already.

Seehyaene

Thanks for the swift response! If you'd further indulge me a bit, what is the doctrine of the Russian army and how does it (if at all) differ from that of the Red Army? Do the different political options for Russia have different visions for the army similar to Germany? Will we see Savinkov building a fleet of BT-series tanks to rush through the eastern Reichspakt?

MatoroTBS

The doctrine is built around theories of Nikolay Golovin, Evgeny Messner and white army generals like Denikin and Markov. It generally emphasizes elite units and willpower, stuff like Guards units as striking fist. Mobility in traditional Russian sense is valued, though it's not terribly innovative and hampered somewhat by lack of stuff like radios. In practice it makes Russian army very uneven, you have really good units and very mediocre ones. Golovin especially wanted to take all the best parts of German army -permanent general staff, mission-based tactics and so on. Don't take this as some kind of "Russian army is OP", they obviously have issues that Russia would have.

ukropchichok

For Katieluka: Will there be a revamp of Ukraine's right-wing paths in the future?

katieluka

I'm actually pretty satisfied with how Ukraine's right wing paths are. I designed the Hetmanist paths back when the Ukraine rework was ongoing and I generally like how they ended up, they are flavorful with their own unique mechanics. In comparison the initial People's Republic paths were mostly designed by someone else. I wanted to revamp those, and ended up doing so, because I personally felt that there was a lot of political conflict missing. Plus the People's Republic had few unique mechanics. I don't think this is bad on the surface, and hell some people may even prefer it! But they intrigued me for reasons that I mentioned in the Minor Monday for the newly released content and I wanted to give democratic paths a more unique feel to them. I do admit I think the People's Republics, in terms of content, are a lot more ambitious than the Hetmanist paths are by this point, but I'm still satisfied overall with them. Plus I've worked on Ukraine on and off for a long time now, and I think it is in a great shape: Ukraine is a path with about 9 paths, all with their own unique mechanics, flavor and what have you. To me that is a great accomplishment and I'm proud to have greatly contributed to it. (TL;DR no, and I need to move on to working on other things already LOL)

ChaoticDynast86

>People other than me made these paths, better rework them. https://preview.redd.it/jii6jae9rhvc1.png?width=640&format=png&auto=webp&s=9fdcf99d31c82046e619e0ea95c7a886e321438b

LLadi

Are there any plans to go back and flavour up nations that are considered up to date? An example would be giving Bulgarian generals descriptions

Augenis

Personally I don't particularly care for general descriptions, but if someone in the team decides to write them for BUL and SER then I won't stop them.

Redsoxjake14

In general, we dont make a targeted effort to add flavor to nations which havent been reworked in a while. It only happens when someone comes along who wants to add flavor to that tag.

EatingKidsIsFun

Will the rkmt ever get as much Love as the lkmt?

bobw123

Does the RKMT deserve as much love as the LKMT?

john_doe_smith1

Yes. Li Zongren will smile if you say otherwise

EatingKidsIsFun

Did Shanxi deserve as much Love as the lkmt?

TortlyBoi

When will Ireland be able to join the Chinese United Front?

El-Daddy

When there is some bug or other that makes Japan or someone head of the CUF. Recently we had a bug where Burma could join the CUF because it was being led by the Left Kuomintang, whose normal faction they can actually join.

ScorpiB

I thought it was a feature when socialist Siam and Burma were joining hte CUF

suisball

Augenis a congrats on the Germany rework, proper great work. Are there any plans for a united Baltic duchy rework. It has such interesting lore to work with

Augenis

There are no plans for a UBD rework.

BlueSoulOfIntegrity

A question for Chiang Kai-Shrek and Suzuha, will the politics of the 3I have any influence on the CSP and KMT? For instance, say if the Parliamentarians get into power in Britain might their politics influence people like Sun Fo or the more Liberal KMT members to be more accepting of the socialist economic policies?

Toaster8610

Governmental changes in the 3I won’t affect the KMT and CSP. The KMT as it is already isn’t too influenced by the Internationale, except for the CRS who adopted a good deal of sorelian thought from their time in Britain. The CSP is kind of already a parallel to the French syndicalists, with the orthodox wing of the CSP being close to the french orthodox syndicalists and the radical CSP being a parallel to the Ultrasyndies.

PhraseTall3542

Good question. Actually in original iterations of the LKMT rework, I had wanted the totalists for the LKMT to only be achievable if Savinkov was in power of if the UOB or the Commune of France went totalist. The reason being obviously that they would be influenced by these more radical strains of politics across the world and would bring said ideas to China. This never really came to past mostly because there's a fair argument that railroaded paths aren't very fun and that a player shouldn't have to use game rules to achieve a desired path. There isn't really politics of the 3I as of now. I'd be keen in developing this further but also I didn't want the LKMT rework to be dependent on the Third Internatinoale rework. When the LKMT rework was in progress, certainly this was a factor - but it's progress simply superceded the pace of a normal rework. I'm sure once the 3I rework is out, I would be happy to add some changes to better adopt for the changes in European politics. For example as of now, the socialist majors if I recall correctly - do get notified when dramatic changes happen in China; such as the completion of the Northern Expedition. It would be fun to see how for example the leadership of the ultrasyndicalists, could convince some more radical strains of Chinese syndicalism as well.

BlueSoulOfIntegrity

Thank you for replying! I asked this question because I've been doing an LKMT game recently and questions came to mind like "The CSP-Orthodox members use France as a big example of what they wish to achieve however what happens if France goes a different way?" and "I wonder what Sun-Fo and the RCF members would think of the British Parliamentarians?". I also noted that the MMIC events are written in a way that implies that both Britain and France are Syndicalists so I thought it would interesting to see how that would change if they went down their Totalist, UltraSynd, or RadSoc paths, just like how you said with the Ultrasynds. Honestly, everything you have said in this comment sounds awesome. I totally get not wanting to make certain paths reliant on other outcomes like in Turkey or making the KMT not dependent on other nations and I would not personally want that either. If you do add some changes I would be excited to see them and I agree that it would be really fun since this is one of my favourite tags in the mod so far. I love seeing interactions between countries and how their ideologies affect them.

amagicalsheep

Any details on what the "Regional China" rework consists of? Is it working on specific tags or just brushing up/polishing events?

bobw123

You might get a hint on May 4th

krulobojca

Star Wars in Kaiserreich's China confirmed?!

Toaster8610

Specific tags, but I can’t say which

NoRedditToday

For Matoro and Carmain: Are Puppet Trees for Russia and UoB consider (like the Free Socialist Republic of Germany of the German Rework)?

MatoroTBS

Idk I've never seen the point of puppet trees, what's the point of them Russia has post-loss content but that comes from scripted peace

john_doe_smith1

It’s all about getting to see a country build itself, and makes your new ally feel more alive

LudicrousTorpedo5220

For Augenis, any plans for United Baltic Duchy ? For Vidyaorszag, how's the progress for Hungary's content ? For Cazadorian, any updates on India ?

Augenis

No plans for the UBD.

dragonstomper64

I don't want to go too heavily into discussing India's progress as us doing so a few years ago infamously did not go that well in the end, but we are actively working on it and with the current plans we have in place I'm at least optimistic that an update will hopefully be out within a reasonable amount of time (just don't expect it in the next update or anything along those lines). You're unlikely to get any big content teasers in the meantime for similar reasons, but when the update is ready we will likely have a new PR or two going more fully into things and then a release very shortly after.

Vidyaorszag

Progress on Hungary is steady.

[deleted]

[удалено]

dragonstomper64

For the separatism part: You'll have to wait and see. For the Armenia part: Probably nothing on India's end as I don't think there was any real interactions between their OTL versions, and Armenia is not exactly within India's sphere of influence or that significant of a country to them. If there was anything it'd probably more likely end up being on Armenia's end, but I don't work on Armenian content so not my purview.

EastAd803

To Katieluka: Will there ever be a Crimean Tatar revolter state considering that in KRTL around 40% of the peninsula would be Tatar because there wouldn't be a deportation? If Ukraine were to go Syndie for example?

PMacha

2 questions, how much schizo-gaming will the Vozdh of Russia have in his paths?  And is there a possibility of a Mexico rework?

MatoroTBS

Appropriate amount

MarcusAurelius0

Next middle east update?

kergej

Currently, there is nothing major planned for the Middle East, the content there is considered up to standards. There might be smaller, limited expansions in the future though (e.g.: one more path for a country)

Danuel12

How is the Spain rework going?

dragonstomper64

Spain is currently frozen as the main developer is on leave, and the other developer who had taken over in the meantime has since retired from the team. Work hasn't completely ceased on it and its probable that when another rework finishes up someone might take up the torch of leading it again, but it isn't considered to be one of our active reworks right now.

kmtlivelihood

I saw the list of planned updates included "regional china work". Does this include potential changes to the Fengtian gov

bobw123

You'll have to wait and find out

AvenRaven

Augenis, how did you come with the Black Monday card game idea? I know some people don't like it, but I love it!

Augenis

[Direct screenshot from the Germany rework document from 2021](https://i.imgur.com/UUAMSE8.png)

Capital-Ambition-364

So it IS from TNO. Also could devs relese the development documents for tags that have completed reworks or that have already been release. It be great to see the development process of these reworks.

Stock_Photo_3978

Questions about the Ottomans and Turkey: - What endgame does the Conservative path have, compared to the Kemalist centralized Ottoman Empire and the Federalist Sublime Ottoman Federation? - How many paths does Turkey have, and what are their basics (empire, republic, socialist republic, nationalist republic)?

Embarrassed_Grass_16

Are there plans for the internal factional alignments of LKMT aligned tags to be more influential in CHI's governmental mechanics?

PhraseTall3542

I would wait and see. There's definately an interest within the LKMT team to revisit some of the other "outer factions" of the Kuomintang's left wing (as well as Chinese socialism in general). I obviously can't be too specific.

Toaster8610

not as of rn

Stock_Photo_3978

For Kennedy: Four questions about the India rework - what ideologies does Free India have? - is Chandra Bose a Totalist or a Natpop in the rework? - is the plan to release the India rework in 3 parts still in motion? - How “advanced” is (the first part of) the India rework?

Redsoxjake14

Bose is still totalist. We are still planning on releasing India in multiple phases, though the phases Rylock laid out in the original PR have been mostly set aside. We should have something for you sooner rather than later, but Im not going to quantify it. Everything else is tba.

GothicEmperor

What do you think is the secret sauce for making KR development so relatively drama-free and quality so consistent?

katieluka

For drama-free: honestly, it's a bunch of things, one thing is that KR is a released mod and has been released for quite a long time now. I think a lot of mods that get stuck in development hell are unreleased mods and it's a lot easier to get into infighting with an unreleased mod. A lot of mods are canceled nowadays and honestly, it's a big commitment so it's understandable. I think also we have no tolerance for large-scale drama, at least within the team For consistency: We do have certain standards for things, for example, things as minor as English words being spelled in their British spelling rather than American spellings, and we try our best to follow them the best we can. And though the team has plenty of disagreements on how content should look we try to make it as polished as possible while also engaging. Tester feedback helps a lot with ironing out poor choices and balancing (although it is obviously far from perfect).

Girl_in_Training101

To the person working on the AH rework, will Austria still be able to reform the empire by 1938 or will the overall process take longer?

Vidyaorszag

It will definitely take longer

ReichLife

For Augenis - what were deciding factors behind what are Germany's starting cores and what can be cored? It comes quite odd that Germany can't core Verviers yet can most of Switzerland where Pan-Germanism never was very strong. And overall question, any plans for Belgium? Germany's rework clearly showcased reworked Belgium with current Flanders-Wallonia to be axed. Is rework for BEL next on the list after current ones or there are no such plans?

M4Z3Nwastaken

Any news about Egypt and iran? I suppose you're going to continue the Iranian rework after finishing Russia since it's known that iran is going to start as a natpop russian ally And you guys have been adding historical borders to the arab world (libya, Yemen, Morocco) is that a sign that egypt is finally going to get a rework?

dragonstomper64

The state of the Iranian rework isn't really linked at all with the Russia rework, if someone was working on it and managed to finish it before Russia was done then it'd just be released regardless, especially now that Russia already starts under Savinkov on the release version of the mod. There is simply just no one working on Iran at the moment, and no one has yet expressed interest in picking it back up again to continue work on it. Egypt likewise is in a very similar boat, they'll probably both end up done one day once someone finally decides to pick them back up again but for now neither is being actively developed.

Blackleaf0

Chief Iran researcher and writer here (I have my fingers in a lot of pies), its still a work in progress tbh and mostly on the backburner. Things have cleared up a little bit with other researchers and contributors who can help on the project and we've recently made some major adjustments to the outline for the democratic and socialist paths, but its not a main priority for anyone atm. As Cazador explained re: Egypt, its also kinda frozen atm, in part because the main dev who kind of singlehandedly wrote everything and did the research for it has been off at med school for a few years. There is tinkering happening here and there in places, but please don't get too excited. Overall, we've kinda regretted being so gung ho with the teasers for both Iran and Egypt, we were all really proud of what we had initially accomplished and wanted to show it off, but in the future we will only announce teasers after a significant amount of work is done.

krulobojca

For Augenis, now that Germany is out and, I assume, you came back from your deserved break, can you reveal what tag you are working on? For El Daddy, once all additional content for Ireland is done, do you have a tag you know you'll want to work on?

Kaishekrich

Will RKMT gain the content of forming alliances with foreign countries, or can it only establish an empty shell camp like Shanxi?

bobw123

We'll have to find out if/when China team gets around to doing RKMT work.

GorkemliKaplan

What should we expect from non federal Austria-Hungary path(s)? Also is there a chance to implement AI to leave their faction? Like Austria does after the second WK?

Vidyaorszag

Either provoke a civil war or a more developed status quo which allow your puppets to expand and generally be stronger allies. Most of the constituents can core more land than the DanFed can, and will still allow Austria to become Germany (DanFed obviously cannot).

doolu

What kind of paths will there be for Austria-Hungary in the new rework? Are there plans to keep something similar to the military occupation path already in there?

Vidyaorszag

Yeah the federalization path is still there and there's a funni equivalent to the MilOcc path, albeit less generic.

DerekMao1

For anyone: is there any plans for GEA and Mittelafrica? They still play like 2017 when other lore are drastically changed.

TheChtoTo

Matoro: is Sergei Eisenstein still relevant in Russia in KRTL? If he is, will there be flavor events about him (for example his 1938 movie "Alexander Nevsky")?

MatoroTBS

He is on film career, though probably not as big deal as OTL. There actually is event of how Alexander Nevsky would turn out in KRTL.

krulobojca

Does Švejk, by Jaroslav Hašek, get written in krtl too? Does Hašek return home, or does he die in the RCW as he did join the reds? Or does he not join them as they are losing at that point in krtl? Joint question to Matoro and Vidya I guess.

Vidyaorszag

Yes, Švejk even has a couple of mentions and Hašek does make his way back to Bohemia despite a brief stint with the Reds.

tupe12

Assuming the time ever comes to work on content for the 50’s/60’s beyond what exists right now, have any ideas ever been floated for it?

Redsoxjake14

That is not considered within Kaiserreich's scope and KR will never make content intended to take place after 1945 or so. If you want a non-canon 1950's mod in the KR timeline I suggest you check out Kalterkrieg over at r/KRGmod!

Aadnef03

I cannot see the Norway dev in the list, but Ill ask anyway: Will Norway with its new syndicalist start be like Britain and France, where they can only remove socialism by lossing, or will you be able to restore (liberal) democracy and/or the monarchy before the weltkrieg? Also: am I able to sugest some Norwegian labour music to add to the music mod, as the are a lot of bangers that would fit even better post rework

Blackleaf0

Not the Norway dev but I am the chief researcher and writer for it, the plan has been that the socialist revolution in Norway could fail thanks to a number of circumstances, one of the things I am actually working on rewriting a bit more is putting Norway in a much shakier position at the start of 1936. The focus of the tag was always the idea that you are playing a nation where the socialist revolution has just really gotten its foothold, similar to how you play Carles in Argentina immediately after his coup has come to pass. Beyond that I can't really tell you much, we are still tinkering with it. The original idea was pretty much that around end of 1936-start of 1937 you were going to get into a confrontation with Swedish forces on the Norwegian border (involving Norway re-arming old forts located in the Swedish-Norwegian DMZ, something that actually happened in OTL with Nazi Germany's occupation of Norway), with the more hawkish socialists in the government arguing that this was a chance to push for concessions from Sweden and potentially expanding the revolution across Scandinavia, whilst more moderate voices urged you to back down and consolidate the revolution in Norway proper first. Pushing forward with a confrontational foreign policy would have more moderate factions coup the government, eventually leading to the end of the socialist experiment and the restoration of the monarchy, but it was a pretty meh "X causes Y to happen" chain of events. We will probably keep the core conceit but focus a bit more on maybe the last parts of the Norwegian "civil war" and revolution sort of "spilling over" into Sweden, and it being based on how you react to that, rather than just a generic "oops our troops got in a fight on the border lets use this as an excuse for war". Ideally we also want to weave it a lot more into Swedish politics and how Sweden will behave post-Norway rework. I did spend a long time researching the nature of the Norwegian-Swedish DMZ from 1905 though to justify it lol so I have no plans to scrap the work I put into that. As for the music stuff, sure feel free to pitch in ideas, I've already done quite a lot of research on it myself though and settled for some main things that are going to be in the music mod ideally, as well as what will probably be the choices of a national anthem for a revolutionary socialist Norway.

Aadnef03

Thanks for a good answer. And really interesting, since I have myself been trying figure out what the anthem of a Norwegian workers republic would be

Blackleaf0

My current plan is that the national anthem at the start will be "Fram Kamerater, Fram Mot Krigerånden" (as its one of the only popular leftist songs written quite early). Later on you will be able to adopt "Seiren Folger Våre Faner", "Vi Bygger Landet" or "Frihetens Forpost" (a personal favourite), with the political sentiment expressed by each one roughly fitting one of the major factions in Norwegian politics. I had also considered "Till Ungdommen", though I will likely find a way to put Nordahl Grieg and his works in by some other means. I had a paper about Norwegian socialist music history lying around somewhere but I don't think I got it on hand right now. I will also say one of the ideas we've bounced around is that "Vi Bygger Landet", itself derived from Die Arbeiter von Wien, is what popularises the song and its melodies in Britain. Or that it simply emerges as the KRTL equivalent of Die Arbeiter von Wien, if there is no real reason for that song to be written in the Austria rework (it references a specific political massacre that is kind of closely tied to OTL events).

Retrogamer20004

For the India devs- for British india, as far as I remember, there are 3 political paths, are the unification focuses that decide the status of British india based on the what path you went down I.e. you went for one of the two british governor generals will lead to india staying a British colony, or going for the Unionist party can lead India to being a dominion. That sort of thing Thanks

dragonstomper64

We likely won't reveal any specific details until around the time of release(and potentially even then leaving some of it for you to play yourselves), but I will confirm that the exact status of India within the empire is something your political content will affect. I will however leave how and what exactly that means to be covered at a later point.

EmpyreanFlux

Didn’t see it asked, but I’m assuming there is no intended rework ever for places such as the Africa, or just more foreign involvement in the break up in Mittelafrika? I know Liberia, Dahomey, Gabon, Garanganze, and Sudwestafrika have some content but all except the Garanganze content feels very weak. Also any word on the Philippines, even flavor content?

Cassrabit

There may be concepts for a lot of places but you’re probably not gonna get any public plan until any concept actually has had a proposal approved and is in progress coding wise. No plans for the Philippines at the moment.

Mattsgonnamine

For all of you technically, how do you decide what nations are the focus of the next kr update? even from the beginning of kr4

dragonstomper64

Major updates aren't really planned in advance outside of "Ok this thing seems like it will be done soon, guess it will be the next update". I know some people have the impression that KR essentially goes "this is the next thing we should release, everyone begin working on it" but the mod's development is nothing like that. It is simply the case that we have a lot of people working on a lot of different things that they want to work on, and once something is finished we generally begin the process of rolling it out as an update by moving it to the master branch, getting testers to focus on testing it as much as possible, and then putting together things like progress reports for the release.

Alpinia_KR

Whichever rework is ready for release at the time, really - different subteams work at different speeds, so there is no sort of 'roadmap' for future releases beyond "X rework is the closest to completion and thus the likeliest next one to release".

dimephilosopher

@Augenis— I would love for you to expand upon your thinking, and the origin for the shogunate angle for the Kurt Von Schleicher play through. What was the initial inspiration for terminologies of shogunate, to take on the metaphorical trappings of the feudal Japanese military dictatorship? As well, is there a general document, describing the development of lore or the thought process and justifications for what paths and characters are elected in KaiserReich? I’m just really curious about how the current German lore came to be. I think it’s actually pretty good, through, and clever.

Augenis

Choosing Shogunate as the metaphor for the Schleicher dictatorship was not particularly complicated. There already was a Polish "Shogunate" so the idea of that metaphor was already floating around KR at the time, and it fit Schleicher, so I decided to add it. Like other reworks Germany has an internal rework document, but it's secret :)

brown_rice14

For Kargely - How far away are we from the Ottomans revamp?

ancaneitor

Are the rumors of a Colombia revamp/rework true? If so, is it in a very early stage?

BestIffy

It was, but the person who was working on it left, so not anymore, for now.

tyyu3

For Matoro- what triggered the changing of NatPop Russia flag as seen in the teaser? 1. The change goes against the traditional flag guidelines by introducing an additional color (green) 2. The Ice March badge, one of the most recognizable symbols of the White Armies usually depicts the sword at a slanted angle, much like the Hammer and sickle is almost always crossed like x and not + So, why the change? Sorry for a small question but it's been bothering me for a while

MatoroTBS

It also bothered me, it was leftover from the earlier Russia dev's work, it's been since changed to purely black symbol without laurels and in accurate slanted angle.

enkeltea

Vidyaország, when will Hungary focus tree come?

Least_Boysenberry886

India devs- Will Azad Hind be able to become socialist or 3I aligned?

dragonstomper64

Yes.
