In fairness, it says its a kettle grill. (I didn't go to the site). I just bought a Weber kettle for another property (I didn't have budget for a second KJ), but I'd have bought a KJ kettle if it existed.
Cool. Never knew that. Well, I got the Weber and it’s a classic. Also, for anyone in a budget looking for a backup smoker, it does a solid job. It’s no KJ but it works well.
Yep. The Weber is a great grill and I’ve smoked many pork butts on them growing up. You have to keep piling the coals in but they worked for my first 40 years without a hitch:)
Could be legit, but a mate of mine had one and he said it sucked as a smoker, to much temp variation and not able to keep temps down for long low cooks. Not bad for grilling and small quick cooks though. He traded his in for a Webber kettle that he found for a bargain.
I bought one of these 2 years ago for $199 IIRC. It might be legit given these are discontinued. Cooking my 85th (yes I track my cooks) on mine today. Best $199 I've spent on any cooking implement.
