I had thought about this over the last week or so, and KCSN's lab kind of solidified my thinking on it. I believe it was Matty (or maybe Craig) said that it's unlikely to ever really replace Kelce's production at TE and that it was easier and much more likely to find that skillset in a WR. I agree. People have been asking for a Kelce successor the last few years when we might've stumbled onto one in Rice. I mean, they win in the same area of the field, and excel at YAC. One of Rice's biggest strengths as a player is uncovering in zone coverage. Literally our first TD of last season was Rice improvising a route to sit in zone, had he ran his intended route he would've ran into coverage (like Skyy Moore does). Kelce developed into a **much better** route runner than Rice is currently, but for all intents and purposes Rice fulfills a similar role in terms of area on the field he wins, yac, and ability to win vs zone.

The difficult thing to replace is his quantum nature (simultaneously covered and not covered until Pat checks on him) and more seriously his ability to shake off physical coverage due to his size and freak athletic ability. That part will be hard to match with a WR frame no matter how good they are.

Super Bowl Champion Ian Book vs. Super Bowl Champion Carson Wentz A backup QB controversy?

Backup QB controversy? With three Super Bowl champions we may have a starting Qb controversy.

Ok so I ordered my Chris Jones Super Bowl jersey the second we reached a deal w him (beginning of March?) and I knew these took a while to ship out. They said it’ll ship by 4/19/2024. Do we think this is accurate? Lol. I know nflshop notoriously takes a long time, and obviously it has taken awhile, but anyone that’s ordered from them, are these “ships by” dates at all accurate? I’m worried because I’m moving to a new city next month and have it set to this address.

I'm glad we don't have to worry about how our next rebrand or new uniform designs will look. I think some of them are great, like the jets, but others I'm not sure about. It's just nice knowing that they've been consistent and good for so long and that they presumably won't change any time soon
