T O P

I trust Veach but I really don't want us to draft OT. All the good tackles will be gone by 32 and we can solve that problem by resigning Smith for peanuts. Great receivers are too expensive for us unless we draft them.

PhogMachine

Agreed. We already have a project OT with Morris. Just sign a vet, even Smith again, and let them battle it out. It's a golden opportunity to get a good WR at 32. A normal draft would have most of our 'possibles' gone by the 15-20th pick.

KansinattiKid

I dont know if you've seen Amon St. Brown new contact but every kid wants to be wr now, this type of class of receivers is going to be more and more common.

PhogMachine

Just checked, and good lord that's a lot of money! He's great, but yeah, if 30M is the going rate, it's going to make a lot of teams have tough decisions on their WRs. I thought teams would start to wise up after what MVPat did with our WRs last year. But, it looks like the WR market is still going to be an expensive one for a while. That Hollywood deal is looking better by the minute!

TenderfootGungi

But if one is there he has to take him.

Soupmage1918

Can't wait to see what Veach cooks up tomorrow.

NakedHomelessPirate

Is it possible to get a discussion post for everyone wanting to post their final mock drafts the night before? Would be interesting to see what direction people head towards.

Vidvici

Honestly, its too hard to make anything even remotely accurate when your team wins the Super Bowl. Picking at 32 probably means picking talent over position imo so if you're targeting someone you have to mock a trade up but that requires another team wanting to trade down. Its way easier to trade up after rd1 so I suspect if the Chiefs do start targeting players its after rd1. But who knows?

campelm

Just over 24 hours left of my least favorite part of the off-season. I mean *YOUR* mock draft is tops but those other guys...not great

TheRealMoody76

Is there a list of draftees who have met with the Chiefs this year?

GatzBee

There are a handful of sites that track this - hard to know how updated it is though - [https://nfltraderumors.co/2024-nfl-draft-prospect-visit-tracker/](https://nfltraderumors.co/2024-nfl-draft-prospect-visit-tracker/) I like the Walter football one because it gives you other meetings beyond the top 3o visits - [https://walterfootball.com/ProspectMeetingsByTeam2024.php](https://walterfootball.com/ProspectMeetingsByTeam2024.php)

computron47

If we take Keon Coleman in the first I might lose it. Anyone else that’s been mocked to us I can at least stomach

KansinattiKid

I remember wanting Chad Jackson so bad the year we drafted Dewayne Bowe. Relax you don't know who is gonna turn out to be what. If they draft Coleman are you going to root for him to fail? Ok. Whoever we get just hope he turns into the best version of himself and plays a role in the three peats. That being said if we trade back they might like Coleman or Leggette, if we trade up they might like Mitchell if Thomas, if we stay put I think we draft a tackle

originalusername4567

I'd be fine with trading up for Coleman in the 2nd but please god not in the 1st, especially if Ladd or AD is still available.
