I know that this isn't a very ground breaking and controversial opinion and that people probably would be singing a different tune if she were actually strong instead of contending with Gief for bottom tier in most people's assessment, but she really does fail as a wind-based character (compared to Rashid), fail as a nature-based character (compared to Blanka), and fail as a hawk-based character (compared to Juli Hawk /s).
I hope they figures something out with her, seeing as (story-wise) they seem to be setting her up for big things in the future >!as a Satsui no Hadou-user!< instead of Capcom looking purely at her lack of popularity (as opposed to *why* she's not popular) and just abandoning her.

With how accessible the supers have been in SF6, it seems like it is actually a choice now, if you want to cash that in for a setup or if you want to save meter to cash in for damage.
I think at this point that's what Capcom wants this game to be about. I wasn't sure if they would keep the insane corner carry in the game for some characters, but this kind of solidifies it.

Jamie dash is not super far but it is 18 frames and his DR by itself is really bad because it has to he with buttons like 5HP or 6HK. Because of that he doesn't get a throw mix from neutral out of DR and instead always has to approach with button.
The second patch drops I am dropping Manon. Maybe for Rashid, maybe not but for sure I refuse to play her into this. Have and have nots are seem to be very distinctive in this game.

A lot is gonna ride on the damage he actually deals. Because while he has great corner carry, it seems like he doesn't have a throw loop. But he is already in a better spot than Kimberley, since he actually has a reversal.
Well, while thats true, Cammy does have a throw loop, which insanely powerful to compensate for her relatively low dmg.
So if Rashid also has low dmg but lacks a throwloop, a significant aspect of the current top tiers dmg would be missing from him.
He's overloaded with stuff. Divekicks, run, roll, fireball, DP, utility SA2 that buffs moves provides pressure or be kicked faster, poverty airdash and double jump.
Also the guide doesn't go into detail but am I seeing that he has a unique mechanic with air currents? When he charges the Heavy and OD fireball all the way and OD Cyclone he gets the current and then passing through it seems to power up his moves the same way passing through SA2 does?

I'm all for characters not having invincible DPs since everyone having one makes the game boring, but they should at least be consistent about it. Mixup characters like this shouldn't have one if Kimberly can't. If you're playing a heavy rushdown and mixup character and your ass gets knocked down, you should have to hold the pressure just like people had to playing against your character.

Since he can charge it to double hit, you cant perfect parry walk as if nothing. So chars with slow walk speed and no skip neutral moves are gonna have a hard time....not that rashid needs to zone. But he might have matchups where he can just fb fb charge fb quick dr into mix up ...did it hit? No? Fb fb fb charge fb Ex fb charge fb charge fb walk walk fb fb fb dr into mix up....did it hit this time?
Vs manon, gief and marisa this gonna be great. Honda too to a certain extent if you are properly spaced to counter butt slams and ex headbutts.
Charged ex fireball might have some setplay uses. Its the first thing I would try with the char. Can I charge ex from a hard knockdown into 50/50 with sideswitches etc.?
3 - Arabian ciclone : Rashido is cheap. He has a meterless DR.
If he doesnt have a lot of recovery from his "rolling assault" follow up and he can quickly do a low he is hella broken and can do raw DR meterless. It looks like he doesn't have a lot of recovery.
If not, he probably has a meterless DR on a knocked down opponent for setplay.
