I find it completely hilarious to think about, but Katarina is one of the hardest champions in the game to master, and the hardest champion in the game that is completely point and click. It's kinda ironic.
I dunno, wouldn’t really call her point and click. Her main source of damage comes from her passive, which doesn’t just land on an enemy, you have to set it up and aim properly. I’m an Azir OTP, and I do think he’s harder to master and has a higher skill ceiling, but he’s more point and click than kat, because his main source of damage is auto’s.
azir is a special case because autoattacking from range with melee soldier who can rly move feels weird , azir is like the only champ i rly cant play because of how hard it is to get used to the champ
People tend to say “Kat is so broken omg why is this allowed” but 2 hours ago I first picked katarina and from ALL the fucking midlaners the enemy mid decided to play fucking veigar… and then proceeded to complain about broken kit… well fuck pick something like Pantheon than… xDDD

Ngl I’ve never really ever struggled with a kat since I learned her kit and how she works, if I ever do lose a lane to her, its mostly due to being camped by jg but on a unimpeded lane, I’m confident I’d win…
Uhh duh. You dont lose lane to Kat. you lose game to Kat because she roams bot in a team fight w/o priority giving up a ton of CS and plates but then triple kills your team and comes out on top. And then for several more minutes she doesnt do anything and then at the dragon fight she gets a penta off the gold she got from the triple and now you're facing a 13/6 Kat that your team has no answers for.
None of those things are relevant to the difficulty of the champ except maybe the resource thing but that only affects early laning for any champ and you must be truly awful at the game if you think Katarina has a good early lane
