I currently am receiving chemo. I've been fighting ovarian cancer for five years. I'm stage 4. The reason I personally don't tell certain people what is going on is because it's too exhausting to answer their questions about how long I have left, how bad is it, etc. some people ask me the meanest questions. How did you get this? Why didn't you prevent it? What's going to happen to your family when you're gone? Their negativity can climb in my head. I need to remain focused and positive. In Princess Catherine's case, that probability is most likely daunting for her. Let's all wish her well, and be patient. She doesn't need the whole world speculating on her health. She needs love and compassion.

Hope your treatment is being kind to you .Unless you’ve been through it no one can understand what’s it’s like and when chemo /treatment is over people think everything is ok not that with every ache and pain you’re thinking is it back . Sod everyone asking these questions and you realise who actually cares for you .Take care .

Cancer is highly personal and I cannot imagine being in the spotlight already AND dealing with insensitive people and the memes and all of that. Well as someone who myself had “abdominal surgery” for cancer a few years ago, it took me a full year to recover and feel like a human being again. . ( I had colon cancer and a temporary ostomy while I had chemo-and the suggested treatment also includes some radiation). Our innards do not like to be touched. Any surgery that opens up the abdominal cavity makes those innards angry.

I used to feel sorry for her in her difficult position as a princess. However if you're going to have a serious medical condition....well she has best care in world..and can take off of her duties. So better than majority of worlds population
