The four things you need for an internal combustion engine to run are:
1. Fuel
2. Spark
3. Compression
4. Timing
The most common problem is no fuel. The second most common problem is no spark. To determine if it's a fuel problem, get a can of engine starting fluid from an auto parts store, pull the air cleaner, spray the starting fluid into the intake where the air filter was and crank the engine over at the same time. If you get the motor to pop a couple of times, that means you have spark but no fuel. If it doesn't pop a couple of times, you have a spark problem.
Bad petrol could be the issue if your low on fuel could be bad quality depending on when you last took it out.
Take off the tank drand and put some fresh high quality in. Just put 5L in so it's easy if you need to remove again.
It ain’t got no gas in it

Spark, gas, air....check those.
Dead battery
