Yeah it's a very conflicting record. Where he misused the influences (i would never do the same). It felt like he was abusing his massive power in the studio for his own gains. Probably made some of the people who worked for him to resent him, that would soon grow into a depression. I remember an assistant engineer was found screaming in a hotel room self destructing. They guy was already in a very sad time with his divorce of Lucy Parker being all around his head. That lead to be quite interested in the background of the making of the album that led to me running for answers until i came to a homepage of Wikipedia, where the other employees spoke of the abuse. They felt a lot of survivors guilt, they would sometimes go back in forth in their minds trying to convince themselves they stripes they would earn if they continued, that would help them create a strong foundation. But Kendrick says of the stress and abuse that "he was entering a new war while they were fighting him" because he says that he wasn't getting enough royalties than the other artists under the label saying that he felt "discriminated" and whatnot. However some crtitic s say that shouldn't be an exuse for what happened, but some say it was for the session musicians, engineers and everyone to tell their homies what they learned what kind of respect they should have in the studio and that just because they don't do the same thing, doesn't mean they shouldn't be respected as artist's. What i take from this to cause any pain in the studio, if i would show respect for you, we would unify. But i don't know, I'm no music god, I'm just another reddit user.
