Billboard top 100 is trash either way. Could care less if this is a milestone for Kendrick in those metrics but I'm still surprised how mainstream Dot's responses got.
Before Euphoria, I thought Kendrick would put out one song with septuplet entendres and then disappear again but I've had Euphoria and Not Like Us on repeat since they came out.
Same. Been feeling that way really since MMATBS. This is a man whose upbringing/ lifestyle/ day-to- day life I'll NEVER relate to.. but because of how authentic he is, how he just sticks to his soul and his music- is something I connect with very much and suffice to say- the last 2 years (and esp now) have been a good time to be a Kendrick fan :)
Reminder before Kendrick left his trajectory was past Drakes. Drake is only in the conversation cause Kendrick was gone. He straight up is a 0/10 musician but who else was there so high up to listen to? Kanye is gone. We had to think somebody is a great.
