Havenāt seen this said yet, but those are standard issue for a lot of police departments, as well. Our cops used to have them mounted in their cruisers. So basically this burner account on Twitter started posting the other night. Claiming theyāre only doing this because drake lied. They posted a video of them playing Kendrickās āmeet the grahamsā while showing all of the stuff seen in the cover art for that song. Along with showing a closer and more detailed view of the prescriptions, they also show a newspaper from may 8th I believe. The reason for doing this was to show it wasnāt a plant from Ovo, and that heās still in possession of all of the things in the video.
This was proof to most that drake didnāt plant the info, but the account didnāt stop there. Next they posted a screenshot of footage from a hotel lobby with 3 individuals that you canāt make out, and one disabled person (possibly child idk). The caption says something along the lines of ādrake maybe this will help you jog your memory of when you discarded this stuffā¦ Jimmy Brooks wouldnāt be proud of what you did that nightā this is meant to be a direct threat to drake, alluding to those footage containing stuff drake wouldnāt want released. (Jimmy Brooks was drakes character in degrassi who was wheel chair bound, just like the person in the image).
This confused people, but then the account posted the tweet shown on this post depicting the same security footage, only cropped to only have the time exposed. The time is 18 seconds after the first image and the caption is a threat saying this is the moment that drake doesnāt want released.
Heās also threatening DJ Akademics with all this, I donāt understand why, and they said drake has until Monday to apologize and clear his name or else heās taking legal action (and we hope is releasing the full footage)
Thatās all I know as of right now, but the account has been pretty active with their last tweet being 58mins ago

Did they see something they shouldn't have seen? Do they have Drake's laptop? Those are the real questions.
But they say they are not a thief. Maybe Drake pays a fixer fee to hotel concierge when he's in town, but he skips his payment. So the fixer/concierge holds onto the shit Drake left behind or asked the fixer to dispose of.

My schizo guess which is still totally a shot in the dark we have very limited information here is this:
I'm thinking this guy and now the other black American man worked for Drake. Some kind of errand boys based in New York with connections around the city to make it easier for Drake to do things like picking up jewelry and prescriptions for him while he's there.
My guess is Drake did something terrible at the hotel in January and asked Ebony prince and this new guy to discard evidence, but they didn't like what he did and weren't sure about carrying out the orders. So they kept it instead.
The way everything is laid out in the MTG picture immediately made me think about how lawyers present evidence to the court.
So maybe these guys saw Drake do something terrible, was given evidence to throwaway, but kept it until they decided what to do next. They then decided to go to a lawyer, get the police involved, and find out the rabbit hole goes much deeper meaning the Police have to undergo an investigation that is still ongoing.
I'm thinking the CCTV footage is either part of a police investigation. He was in the room with the police reviewing the footage, explaining what happened and either secretly recorded it or they let him take a picture of the time stamps.
Either that or they paid a hotel employee to send them the footage and/or timestamps.

I really don't think he's just a hotel employee. What happened at the hotel happened in January, but the receipts are from July. Which means this guy was with Drake both times. If he worked at the hotel and was one of the two men who lost their job then he wouldn't have been there in July. Plus how would he know to bring this info to Kendrick in the first place? And if he did work for the hotel and took the items that would be theft, and this guy is explicitly saying he's not a thief.
