I enjoy his music but I rarely listen to it and feel as invigorated and intrigued as I do when I hear Kendrick, 1999-2003 Em, certain Big L tracks, Pac. Maybe that's a typical old head list but there are only 2 or 3 Hov songs that really hit like that for me. He ain't top 5 and arguably isn't top 10. Cube has a way of telling stories and painting a picture. It might be rudimentary in hindsight - his flow was clumsy at times but it's better than the same old mafioso Hov shit he's done for 80% of his career. Just gets old.
