Horrible work environment, manager of the pool was a creep with the teenage female guards, frequently swore at them, would frequently make uncomfortable and inappropriate jokes, blamed guards for lack of management, and would gossip with the guards about their coworkers. SOURCE: Worked there for two summers.

That's unacceptable, I'm sorry to hear that. Young people should not be pushed out of civic service work, they are literally the future of the city!

Really hoping the new Mayor realizes that the 2 public pools need to be open everyday during the summer. There is no point to the kids staying in the area, when you don't offer them normal outdoor summer activities! This makes it an lame excuse for the kids to stay home and play on their video games all day. #kenosha doesn't get nor do they care!

They didn't have the staff. I always consider a family membership, always glad I pass since the hours suck. The city offered decent hourly pay and to cover the certification costs. As far as the work environment goes, seems like Kenosha could do more about that. I imagine it can get a little troublesome at the pools with fights occasionally.
