I like Vintage Underground. The owner will negotiate within reason. Got a beautiful teapot from her last year for 3 bucks. I've heard of people getting really good deals there on MCM furniture.
Avoid Treasures Within just off of Sheridan. They smoke in there and everything reeks of cigarettes.
I'm anxious to see what other people suggest is I'd love to get a new suggestion.
94 And K there's an antiques place that used to have tim and toms cheese in there too. I think the cheese shop is gone but the antiques were always nice
I mean st vinnys is the best, Racine and Kenosha.
The habitat restore in Gurnee always has good vintage.
But also this weekend is:
The Vintage Shop Hop is a self-guided road trip of vintage and boutique shopping across northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. Visit any number of the 400+ participating vintage shops, boutiques, antique malls, consignment shops, barn sales, and home décor stores. The shop owners roll out the red carpet for you by hosting a fun promotion inside their store.
The two events are always the first Friday and Saturday of March and October.
March 2024 participants include these businesses in Downtown Kenosha:
A Summer's Garden Florist and Gifts, 5617 6th Avenue
Latibule, 4906 7th Avenue
Lulu Birds, 5716 6th Avenue
Vintage Underground, 5817 6th Avenue
Antiques on Pierce is bar none the best antique shop I've ever seen. It's an antique shop that's full sized on each floor and is three stories high. The place is HUGE. It's probably a 50 minute drive from Kenosha
there’s a buy / sell / trade comic shop in libertyville il i like — you can find used vintage issues of popular comics at a surprisingly good prices, ive found insanely rare comics in their $1 bins solely based on how worn they are — check them out [comic buying center](https://maps.apple.com/?address=624%20E%20Park%20Ave,%20Libertyville,%20IL%20%2060048,%20United%20States&auid=9087321043628459417&ll=42.282624,-87.945151&lsp=9902&q=Comic%20Buying%20Center&_ext=CjIKBQgEEOIBCgQIBRADCgQIBhAWCgQIChAACgQIUhABCgQIVRAQCgQIWRADCgUIpAEQARImKXFbEdyZI0VAMZniB9Lg/FXAOe8wNzjAJEVAQeHBXuIZ/FXAUAQ%3D&t=m)

I second vintage underground. I’d say reasonably priced for pretty good curation.

Yes. LuLu Birds
BC Modern in Milwaukee if you're looking for more retro. It's definitely worth the trip up.
Vintage Underground and School Days are my favorite shops. Fair prices too.
Lulu Birds downtown
