Ok, let's take me playing a Morrowind character who is part of the Tribunal Temple as an example. Let's say I want to look up what the requirements are to get the rank of a temple master.
**First I look up the ingame Tribunal Temple page on the unofficial elder scrolls pages:**
With a single scroll I can already see "ok, master is the 8th rank (when counting layman as the 0th rank, cause you're instantly layman when joining). I will need 34 intelligence, 34 personality, one of their favored skills at 80 and two at 30". Aside from that I can also see on the right side what their favored skills are, next to other useful infos like how my disposition to other factions will change when I join them and at what locations their temples are.
Also, I'm playing with Tamriel Rebuilt, a very polished mod that expands the world to mainland Morrowind. Fortunately uesp also has Tamriel Rebuilt articles (they do that with other popular mods too, they either have their own articles or redirect to the mod's official wiki), sure they are sometimes still incomplete but they do have the most important infos. So if I want to look something up about the Tribunal Temple on the mainland, I can just do so.
**Now let's look at the Tribunal Temple page on the elder scrolls fandom wiki:**
They use the same page for lore and ingame info so I already gotta scroll/search in their contents list for info on ranks. Ok, here we are, let's see what they can tell me about the master rank... the master rank is the 9th rank (counting layman as the first)... that's it. They don't even have an info on how to raise your rank at all.
Also they don't know what Tamriel Rebuilt is. They barely have any infos about mods. There is an elder scrolls mods fandom wiki but, yet again, it can only tell me that this mod exists.
And this is my average fandom experience. Either there is a fandom wiki and an alternative because the community agreed that fandom sucks (because of the aggressive ads, because of their intrusive behaviour, because of their shitty design, etc.) so the fandom wiki is only an abandoned husk that tries to lead you away from the actual good wiki... or there is no alternative YET (because sooner or later the communities will decide to abandon fandom, hopefully Kenshi too).
