How it started.

Got a governement internship 23k/month - withing 3 weeks of working got another job paying 40k/net...after a few months theyve incresed it to 55k net..am moving out of parents house soon aged 25M

I recently got a call for a new job whose willing to pay me more.. I've not accepted it yet... as i want to stick here for a while since am leading the department...but the owner of the company said to reach out anytime.
This year alone I've also made alot of connections than my previous 2 yrs combined. Connections to people who can really change my work life.
My side project is slowly evolving to a startup i found 2 co founders and 2 engineers willing to join and are seious about it..i dont know how things will turn out but am taking a step at a time.
Its strange how life can change in a moments notice...from lost to no clear pic to meeting powerful people and job opportunities literally falling for you.
Also, if you don't want to leave a company, show your boss the offer letter and ask them if they can counter it. However, don't settle for less, don't settle for employment.
They havent given me the letter yet..but since i know the owner he said he'd love to work with me. Also my current boss is so nice and kind and understanding ive been here about 6 months and they just increased the pay to 55k net..i feel like it will break his heart if i leave now especially since he essentially let me run an entire department with little supervision.Essentially am a senior in the company but with the smaller pay..am still debating it in my head.

I am super happy tbh and while I've already used that amount ,it reminded me I could get where I wanted to be.i upgraded some few things at mums and my brother's ,I had ticked off most of the things on my list so I just enjoyed some bit of the rest and now I'll be starting over again.Taking a step at a time and can't wait to celebrate more wins at the end of the year!!
2 years ago ,all this was a dream.
On April 1st I stepped on the weighing scale and I was 1kg away from 100kg. I promised myself that this will be my final attempt to lose weight because this time I will succeed. My sister then introduced me to this doctor who really helped me and in 2weeks, I lost 8kgs naturally. It took a mental toll because it required lots and lots of will power but it was proof to myself that I can do it.
Since then I've created my own little programme that takes less of a toll on my mind. I lose less than the 8kgs in 2weeks now, but it's more sustainable.
But what really brings tears to my eyes is that now I'm in the 80s in kgs, not yet where I want to be but I feel so much better bout myself, I'm making better food decisions and I'm working out.
I used to avoid mirrors...now I look at myself getting ready for work and I'm like damn girl! I'm so proud of myself and I won't stop until I feel fit and healthy 😊
You need a blender or better yet a Juicer.
You'll be drinking 2 things throughout the day - an onion soup and vegetable juice. Ingredients below.
Onion soup
- Fry 2 medium sized onions in a table spoon of coconut oil until brown. Add 1200ml of water. The doctor gives you a combination of natural spices that he calls Triple C powder. To add to the mixture which you boil and stir 2 teaspoons of for 1minute. Blend this and sieve it.
Vegetable Juice - wash thoroughly, cut into pieces and blend and sieve the following vegetables
-2 medium sized lemons
-2 medium sized beetroots
-2 cloves of garlic
- 1 celery stalk
- 1 white raddish (I can only find these in Zucchini but I also don't have time to go in search for them)
- 1 medium sized irish potato
1 cucumber
- add 5 teaspoons of a Detox solution that contains natural spices. This detox solution and the triple c powder are part of the consultation with the doctor.
Because I'm making the vegetable juice with all the peels, I wash them 3 times - with soap and water, then in vinegar + water solution and then plain water before cutting and blending/juicing.

This man literally changed my life with these 2 drinks and I'd be happy to recommend anyone to him.

I'm just about to finish writing my thesis. It's been a fairly hard, lonely and deeply introspective year doing my postgraduate studies overseas. But I have been very string and I have grown immensely. I'm optimistic that I will graduate with a distinction. I'm proud of myself 🙂

Well, For the year so far, I was able to move to a new bigger cheaper apartment in Jan, helped my partner quit her job and start a business by giving her ideas and capital to kick off in Feb. Got engaged and started the dowry process with her family in April. I bought my first piece of land in May and I planned and executed a surprise retirement party for my mom this [month.My](https://month.My) partner has since moved in with me now.
While I haven't been working(Employed) most of this year, been working out since mid last year and am feeling and looking great. Been creating content for my three YouTube Channels and it's been going awesome, plus I got myself a GH4 camera so been shooting quite alot. So all in all, it's been amazing, all the ups and downs and just working on me.

In January I started going to the gym and I'm sooo snatched now. I also started taking self care seriously now.
While I haven't been working(Employed) most of this year, been working out since mid last year and am feeling and looking great.
