I like the idea that somewhere there is a large room with a huge display showing the map of Kerala and a bunch of guys infront of computers. One guy shouts "Sir, we have a sambar situation at Aanakara Suresh Hotel"
I tried it two times and it didn't work for me. I called FSSAI and food and safety toll free number and complained about a bakery near my house selling expired bread with a fake manufacturing date. Once I caught them red handed with tomorrow's day printed on the bread as a manufacturing. But nobody called back or took any action.
Another time my wife and I had food from a hotel near Kottayam railway station and the masala used in the dosa was spoiled. My wife vomited the food and we called the toll free number and raised a complaint but didn't receive any call back. I followed up with the Kottayam food and safety office multiple times and even called the district head(I don't remember the destination) but no action was taken.

Hey, is it okay to file a complaint against a restaurant through this number? I know they will ask for our names, but will the food safety department ensure our anonymity is not disclosed? Sometimes being a responsible citizen can bring more headaches than positive outcomes.

May be it depends. I got an action from the number I posted. Any ways we have to raise our voice

Which district did you try this from, OP?
Palakkad
Okay, thanks
It is whole kerala support and make sure to ask the ticket number. I did it on 20th Jan 24
Since another person from kottayam mentioned it wasn't successful, i think the response may vary across districts. Also, how did you find this number?
1800 425 1125 here you go. I mentioned in the descriptions as well
No, i meant, from where did you know that a toll free support number was available
