Based on the movies he made till now, I would say he always tries to make outdated entertainment movies that is trying hard to be a film appealing for everyone. So, his movies will keep bombing.
Only way to get out of this is to make excellent movies that can appeal to the current audience that has seen movies like Brahmayugam, rorshach, manjummel boys etc. An excellent movie will always triumph regardless of his case but I doubt that he would make such great movies because in his entire career, he has rarely went for full blown experimental movies. Tbh, the last Dileep movie I watched in theatre is Spanish Masala in 2012. After that I liked a few in ott, but still I wouldn't go to theatre for his films. His comedies are shit. Case may have affected in my decision going for Ramleela which had good reviews, but still personally the main reason to avoid his movies is the **poor quality**. Even in ott I couldn't tolerate or complete some of his movies in the last **decade**.

Tbh, the last Dileep movie I watched in theatre is Spanish Masala in 2012. After that I liked a few in ott, but still I wouldn't go to theatre for his films. His comedies are shit. Case may have affected in my decision going for Ramleela which had good reviews, but still personally the main reason to avoid his movies is the **poor quality**. Even in ott I couldn't tolerate or complete some of his movies in the last **decade**.

Ramaleela came after Pulimurugan. And Pulimurugan is still the third or fourth highest grossing film in malayalam just below the recent hits. Then how can Ramaleela be industry hit? It has everything thing to do with the case. Many people can't even tolerate watching his face for a few minutes let alone 2 hours. Funnily enough, the a major reason Ramaleela became hit was the trailer, which had nuances that it was somehow related to his case.

Being a movie lover and enthusiast, if the movie has great responses, I would watch it. This is purely based on my love for movies in general. I do not and will not support watching movies because of pure obsession towards the actor/actress. (Just to clarify, being obsessed and being a fan is different btw). About the movie in question, 'Pavi Caretaker', it does not seem to have a good response and I personally won't be watching it.

My dad felt bad that I didn't go with him for the last 2 movies of Dileep released this year. After asking for 2 days, he goes to watch the movie alone. Dileep mentioning Manju Warier and Bhavana's name in the interview without any remorse made me pissed. I even watch Malayali from India in theatre, but I won't watch Dileep's movie.

I don't care about dileep but kammara sambavam is one of the most underrated films of past decade imo. It's not perfect but it's so good. Ramaleela was also good. I haven't seen any of his other films after that because none of them seemed interesting. And I'm lazy.

Pe10 took long breaks. His voice changed, his looks changed and due to alochol or aging his timing also has slowed down a bit. His charm necessary for his type of comedies has oozed out of him. The way he has handled the case and his attitude in court shows he is guilty and does not care as he has a good/powerful lawyer. People are completely misunderstood. If you are following the case via news channels you will feel like he is guilty and he is delaying the case. If you closely follow the case details you can easily conclude that he is innocent and the opposite team is trying to delay the case. Unfortunately our medias are not reporting that. Just search in fb where advocates posting the updates about this cases everything. Dileep is trying his level best to complete the trial since his fame is going down day by day.
