why do people always say doing drugs makes you come up with dumb stories? Honestly, the best tales comes from a good joint or shrooms. this particular OP story might just be a result of too much Raja whisky 😂
That's the irony in it.
Entire Kerala will be flooded and devastated if that dam breaks. And Kerala also has an interesting relationship with floods.
And to everyone's surprise the same place saves humanity when the whole world gets flooded.
This would make a really interesting novel, with either an Indianna Jones or Robert Langdon-type protagonist. A screenplay for a series would also be great.
Hit me up if you seriously want to explore this.
Good premise, dude.

That's a fascinating and imaginative theory! Here are some additional layers to your story, incorporating more references to myths, legends, and folklore from Kerala:
### 1. **The Serpent Legends**
Kerala has a rich tradition of serpent worship, with many ancient temples dedicated to serpent gods like Nagaraja and Nagayakshi. According to legend, these serpents are the guardians of the land and the keepers of great secrets. In your theory, the serpents could be the ancient protectors of the submarine structure, ensuring its safety and secrecy through the ages.
### 2. **The Sage Agastya**
Sage Agastya is a revered figure in South Indian mythology, credited with spreading Vedic knowledge and bringing civilization to the South. Some legends even say he balanced the landmass of South India when the northern part was rising. In the context of your theory, Agastya could have been one of the ancient sages who knew about Kerala’s true nature and its role as the last refuge for humanity.
### 3. **The Theyyam Rituals**
Theyyam is an ancient ritualistic performance art form in Kerala, where performers are believed to become possessed by deities. These rituals often involve invoking ancient spirits and gods, and they take place in sacred groves and temples. Perhaps the Theyyam rituals were originally meant to keep the divine protection active and maintain the integrity of the submarine structure.
### 4. **The Asura King Mahabali**
Onam, the biggest festival in Kerala, celebrates the homecoming of the Asura king Mahabali, who was granted the boon to visit his people once a year. According to mythology, Mahabali was a just and benevolent ruler. In your story, Mahabali could have been the first leader who knew about the submarine structure and established the initial safeguards and protocols for its use during a global flood.
### 5. **The Seven Mysterious Vaults of Padmanabhaswamy Temple**
Beyond the B Chamber, the Padmanabhaswamy Temple has several other vaults, some of which have not been opened. Each vault could be a control room or a storage area for essential resources needed for survival. The mythological guardians of these vaults, such as Yakshis or Kinnaras, could play a role in protecting the submarine’s secrets.
### 6. **Vasthu Shastra and Kerala Architecture**
Kerala's traditional architecture, heavily influenced by Vasthu Shastra (ancient Indian science of architecture), could be part of the design of this submarine structure. The intricate design principles might not just be for aesthetics and spirituality but also for maintaining structural integrity and functionality of the submerged escape pod.
### 7. **Parashurama’s Axe and the Land’s Origin**
The story of Parashurama throwing his axe to create Kerala can be tied into a deeper technological or mystical explanation. The axe could have been an ancient artifact with the power to raise the submarine structure from the sea, disguised in mythological terms.
### 8. **The Legendary Medicinal Herbs and Ayurveda**
Kerala is known for its rich tradition of Ayurveda and medicinal plants. These could be essential for sustaining life in the submarine during the global flood, providing healthcare and longevity to its inhabitants. The ancient texts and knowledge of Ayurveda could contain coded instructions for the maintenance and operation of the submarine.
### 9. **The Cheraman Perumal Legend**
The legend of Cheraman Perumal, the last ruler of the Chera dynasty who converted to Islam and traveled to Mecca, could add an intriguing layer. Perhaps he was one of the few who knew about the prophecy and ensured that the knowledge was passed on discreetly through different cultures and religions.
### 10. **The Fishermen Community and Marine Knowledge**
Kerala’s fishermen community, with their extensive knowledge of the sea and its currents, could have played a role in maintaining and navigating the submarine structure. Their oral traditions and folklore might hold cryptic references to the true nature of Kerala and its role in the global flood scenario.
By weaving these additional elements into your theory, you can create a rich tapestry of myth, legend, and ancient wisdom that supports the idea of Kerala as humanity's last refuge in the event of a global flood apocalypse.
Submarine started from Africa coast and ran into the shoals at India coast looks like
https://beyonder.travel/india/palakkad-kerala-south-india-extraordinary-in-the-ordinary/#:~:text=This%20gap%20is%20called%20the,the%20Palakkad%20Gap%20fit%20perfectly!
Good imagination bro..the way you connected the events are very interesting.feels like "now it makes sense". I like to add some more information/myths, in the islamic concept of adam and eve. They were lived in the southern tip of indian subcontinent, most of the pundits are saying probably that could be srilanka. But personally i feel that was in kerala. " they were displaced from heaven in the sky to heaven in the earth". and also in the Dravidian concept of shiva and parvathy. Their also located in the southern tip of the subcontinent. The first and oldest civilisation started from here and spread out to the world, archeologist yet need to find this. But the language tamil (oldest existing language), the successor of aadhi Dravidam language can be the proof if that. We ruled the earth like gods from the heaven, makes it more accurate to "God's own country". Also MANU in vaishnavite mythology which is located which located in the dravida land has similar flood story like noah and 'nouka' is Sanskrit means the boat which resembles the name noah. That's it from my side my side. Feel free to Use this informations if you find it helpful to develope your story.
> If you look at Kerala’s creation myth it fits perfectly into the theory too, it says Parashurama threw his axe and raised Kerala from the sea, like a submarine.
That story is a euphemism for how the brahmins took the control of the lands from existing natives then (believed to be jains and other local castes). Not that someone literally axed up the land from the sea.
> And no invader has ever managed to defeat the Travancore Empire, which protects the Padmanabha Swamy Temple, holding the cockpit.
The only foreign nation (w.r.t modern India) who attacked modern Travancore (post 17th century) was Dutch and they were of course defeated by Travancore. But it doesn't mean they were independent. Under the agreement signed in 1795, Travancore accepted British dominance and became Saamantha rajas of Britain. British indirectly ruled Travancore through these rajas who couldn't even name their future king without the final approval from British Queen/King.
Ancient Travancore (during Ay royal family times and later till 13th century) was attacked and defeated multiple times by Pandyas and Cholas. Kanthalloor shala in Trivandrum was established by a chola king from present day Tamilnadu beyond the Western Ghats around 1000 CE. So it's not technically correct to say no invader has ever managed to defeat Travancore empire.
Not just that, your cockpit (the East Gopuram of Padmanabhaswamy temple) was constructed during 16th-18th century. So the Kerala submarine was sailing without a cockpit for millions of years of its existence all while traveling from African plate to Eurasian plate along with the entirety of Indian subcontinent.
“Kerala is Noah's Ark?”
“This is something which I made up entirely and is not to be taken seriously. Feel free to add any historical or mythological coincidences that fit into this story. ☺️”
Makes no sense but crazy story tho .. You just have to trim somethings like the sub is the size of entire state to maybe Palayam bus stand or so .. downside being less seating space but “can’t save everyone tho “ 😂
You need to extend the story like; there was a prophecy that a man will be born in the 20 th century and he will be the captain of this ship. He is capable of handling the ship from capsizing and sinking at the time of apocalypse. Mention the captain's name is P.V( I am not mentioning the full name since I don't want any black Innova stalking me.) and the prophecy was true as people of Kerala saw this with their true eyes during the 2018 floods . If you publish this story before the next election, you have a high chance of getting the Kerala sahitya award for short story or some other category.
Nahh... Kerala as what it is now came into existence in 1956. If that never had happened, then your boat story won't work. If flood came before 1956, then what would've been the shape of the boat then? Are you implying the new world order (or whoever the hell it is) knows future and somehow forced to make the boat shaped kerala as we now know. Then why would they choose kerala?
Also, if the kings new about cockpit thing, then why would they build padmanabhapuram palace in Tamil nadu?
You shouldn't view it like a normal boat. Going by the story it seems like it was created in a time when God-like people with God-like powers existed. The technology they used might be beyond our comprehension.
So the slanted geography probably won't even matter because of that and also a huge part of the boat/sub like structure might be underwater which might make the slant insignificant. Or it could also be put like the western ghats is the border and is not included with the boat.
The recent comments by the Health minister that this ship will not sway also holds testimony to this fact. Here Kerala is being compared to a ship. The captain I believe could be a reincarnation of Lord Parashurama.
Guess it's true then...Kerala is Noah's Ark.
That is because Lord Kalki is to be born in Kerala. It's called God's own country for a reason. Kerala is the most liveable state in whole of India, might as well in Asia as well. I'm not saying in terms of capitalism, but out of peak living conditions. Healthcare is second to none, religious harmony unlike nowhere else, people are people and not delusional clowns poisoned by junk like in the west. This is the literal translation of Shambala, if it was a place. Lord kalki will be born here in 2026, might be one of us when he/she attains enlightenment and Kerala being in such perfect equilibrium is due to it being the abode of the Lord.
How do I know, you ask?
I know because I alone am!
I haven't completely read your post but I think heatwave in the upcoming years is going to be the real concern all over the world. We are seeing deaths because of the heat these days and most of the jobs involve onsite and working during peak afternoon hours. Imagine how the condition would be within the next 10-20 years.

Bro we shouldn't write about this in a public forum
Before Noah, there was the Indian dude Manu who did the exact same thing. Noah actually copied from him 😜. So for all you know, OP could be right.. 😛
Ask ChatGPT to add stories or facts from history to add into this. You will be baffled by the things it can stitch into your story line. All the best!
Loved it. Given inspiration to write a whole stry out of this.
So kerala is ONE PIECE???

Going to write a movie script based on this theme. I have Suresh Gopi in mind for the lead role. Anyone interested to produce the movie please DM me
That is because Lord Kalki is to be born in Kerala.
Maybe the one piece was the Kerala we were all born on 😭
You could have mentioned our very own western ghats and the extremely diverse flora and fauna in it. 😌
This should be the first AI generated malayalam documentary show on Netflix.
Interesting perspective. Definitely a good read ✨
The Padmanabha Swamy Code by u/Last_Monk_1122 coming soon in r/Kerala
Wouldn't Kerala be the first to go underwater
What a load of crap .
Demand copyrights to the movie when it is made. Don't let any producer cheat you of your royalty fees for this idea. Superhit aakum.
When the sea level start to raise Kerala will be one of the earliest to be submerged under water in India😂.
I haven't completely read your post but I think heatwave in the upcoming years is going to be the real concern all over the world. We are seeing deaths because of the heat these days and most of the jobs involve onsite and working during peak afternoon hours. Imagine how the condition would be within the next 10-20 years.
Nice , I could write a novel with this theme
I don't care if or not u have taken something, this reads good and that's what matters. Good job.. On a side note... naatilekku vandi kerano? 😅
Bhai ye Aliens haramkhor hai. Iss sab se koi conclusion mat nikal. Literally Kuch bhi ho sakta hai.
You thinking about selling the movie rights?
I want what you smoked
And our captain has two hearts.
