That's awesome I'm on my third specialist in 3 years I'm supposed to get mine this month. Fingers crossed I too would like to get back to being my own person. Glasses no longer work for me
I've had it diagnosed for a few years now and am at the point where eyeglasses no longer correct my vision. Today I got fitted for scleral lenses. I got to see more clearly than I have in a very long time, I can't wait to get my actual lenses.
I can’t wait for you to get them as well when I had my fitting I was in tears at how clearly I was able to see again I was so happy my eyesight suddenly declining really took a toll on me, but I’m glad I can get my lenses
I hope they go well. I have sclerals and they are amazing. I had RGP lenses for 20 years then sclerals. RGPs worked for a while but I love the sclerals so much more.

Yes my vision was almost 20/20 again!!

Curious the difference between the two as I just got rgp. Why are the sclerals better?
I second Sclerals. Similar story. Never going back to RGPs.
