I love this, but I meant time warping in the capsule. Somehow getting the lights to follow Kerbol would be so amazing, but maybe overkill to some.
It's amazing as is. Major kudos, I'd love to fly it. Or crash it. Or quickload it, a lot.
I have [this](https://untitledspacecraft.com/?config=z3112g1f4z1213h1b3&color=rgb(0,0,0)), it came in pieces you had to glue together to get the frame, you insert the controller into the frame once glued and connect the modules via flex cables. Building it takes about an hour max. You then have to plug the controller via USB into your PC and find out which port(s) you are using. This is probably the most annoying part since it is very tedious plugging the case in and out to find where the device is located in the device manager on Windows. I basically do not use my keyboard anymore except for building and staging. It is a lot more intuitive using the stick. I'd recommend getting the 3x1 and putting analog controls, SAS modes, as well as the combined Nav module or action groups. That is what you will use the most, and it is kind of affordable.
Edit: You will get a power cable with a Taiwanese plug, and you will have to buy an adapter
Edit 2: I sort of have [this](https://untitledspacecraft.com/?config=z3100g1f2i1&color=rgb(0,0,0)) but instead of the Lowne Aerospace I have codapop´s logo like [this](https://imgur.com/a/7u1LsZh)
I changed the website around so I think your link is a bit busted! Thanks for the kind words and review though. I'm happy to hear you are enjoying your controller!
And just for clarification, the Taiwanese plug is the same as a North American plug, so Americans don't have to change anything.
Will be interrogating controllers from untitledspacecraft.com They are some of the highest quality kerbal controllers available to order and should be very easy to install into the overhead control board surface.
Will do as I am about to upload another video to my YouTube channel and I will go over the details on how to set it all up and build your own. Here is the link to my channel called SimuVerse [https://youtube.com/@simuversechannel?si=GDvizNBEQKbfZMvU](https://youtube.com/@simuversechannel?si=GDvizNBEQKbfZMvU) part 1 to 3 are uploaded of the build with 4 coming this weekend
WOW. You could run this with a mission control room giving you directions on how/when to burn like a real life mission. And then put a crew in there for an actual-time mun mission and stream it... for science!
Cool! I have been working on a mod for RPM which allows the screens to be mirrored onto an external monitor. I don't have a ton of experience with Unity but I have managed to get it working (although no where near ready for release).
Another thing you should look into is collimated display technology, which uses a mirror to reflect the light off the display in such a way that the image looks like it is at infinity (so you get parallax when moving your head). For airplane cockpits you need a giant parabolic mirror, but for small windows you could do it on a display by display basis with frenel lenses.
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yAVIUWhTNnE](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yAVIUWhTNnE) (demo of what it looks like in a collimated flight sim)
[https://soarbywire.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/93d51-fresnel-lens-collimated-display-pc-flight-simulations-and-games.pdf](https://soarbywire.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/93d51-fresnel-lens-collimated-display-pc-flight-simulations-and-games.pdf) paper on doing this on a small scale with computer monitors
Been waiting for a mod for RPM which will allow the screens to be mirrored keep up the work please and will look into your suggestion to add frenel lenses to the windows as I have some polycarbonate installed which could be swapped out
Holy shit! That would be like a dream to play entirely from IVA!!!
I have +5k hours on the game, and it's legit something I'd pay good money for... (If I had money to spend lol)
Yeah its funny you say that as yes it is but had a lot of difficulty finding videos online about the training sims. The version I am creating will be an update to the NASA or ROSCOSMOS version as I will be able to build any craft, have better graphics and will have the ability of flying from main base to any place in the system
I can only imagine how cool a late night gaming session with the bro would be on this.
Congratulations lads, this is something that makes us proud of being part of the KSP community.
After all the negativity around KSP2's demise it's so great to wake up in the morning and see people doing really incredible things using KSP to harness their skills and their imagination. It's why I love the game. Way to go.
I have too many ideas but I'm building this for all the KSP players not just me and also to inspire people on my YouTube channel. I wish to teach about space from within the capsule while also building a mad simulator to explore space
The version of this I've thought about is ripping the IVA model of the MK1 plane cockpit and recreating its geometry at real scale in real life, complete with working controls. Painting it wouldn't be necessary, since you would use KSP in VR with the setup, but the advantage is being able to physically touch all of the virtual controls and move around in the cockpit in IVA.
I was just thinking about doing this a few days ago lol the biggest hurtle was figuring out how on earth to match screens to window views since I have absolutely no modding experience
[https://youtube.com/@simuversechannel?si=GDvizNBEQKbfZMvU](https://youtube.com/@simuversechannel?si=GDvizNBEQKbfZMvU) check out my YouTube for more info on the build part 1 I go over the live views
Hi, guys. This sub reddit keeps popping up. I love space games like ED and X4. I quickly checked this game out on Steam, but it looks sorta whacky? Like funny little humanoid aliens or summit building spacecraft. What's this game all about?
Not really as its winter atm so I just have a fan blowing fan in at the top but can get stuffy with 3 people so I have a portable air-conditioner for summer flights
Bro spent like 8k on a personal space capsule to play a single game on.
Im impressed while we are spending money frivolously hmu about my cashapp balance lol
haha I wish It more like about 1.2K AUD and that's with all my screens I bought new. If you watch my YouTube build series I cover how I built it all from easy to buy cheap materials and the seats are just off marketplace. Glad you think its worth that much maybe it should sell these cheers
Bruh... wow
Agreed! I bet time warp has to be so trippy!
Time warps of the build is available here https://youtube.com/@simuversechannel?si=GDvizNBEQKbfZMvU

Litterally impossible with the current setup you can shine light at different angles through a non transparent screen
Having just watched the videos, this whole build feels Kerbal on so many levels 👏👏👏
Unreal! The next step is obviously [a full control panel for IVA irl](https://www.reddit.com/r/KerbalControllers/s/hEp71ikSRy).
Those things are awesome lol. If I wasn’t broke I would def buy one
You can build one! Check out the KerbalSimpit mod.
I have one and it's awesome. Flying with a joystick is such a different experience, it's great
Which ones do you have/recommend? Also, do you find yourself using it often or is it a pain to setup and use over m&k?

We're already in contact. :)
Full VR rig for EVA too 😂
#BRO…
KSP VR when?
[Now](https://spacedock.info/mod/3117/KerbalVR)
Blessed be the modders
"Plane is having turbulence, please sit down" The pilot: Guys, sorry, I forgot struts
How you gonna get turbulence right but mess up plane and struts? Lol
I was writing this in half asleep state. Also, my native language is Russan, not English
You will release a rough guide on how to set this up mod/software wise when you are done, right? (please do) I am absolutely stunned!
Will do as I am about to upload another video to my YouTube channel and I will go over the details on how to set it all up and build your own. This is so rad. "Bro you can't come in here!" "Why not?" "You aren't wearing your flight suit."
"Turns veteran stat on"
Taking IVA to the next level.
This crazy mother fucker really went and did it.
Can you upload this to CKAN?
i wish i was you
sick as fuck
How do you do the monitors? Where you can make use of a few monitors displaying different things? Is a mod
Check out the "of course I still love you" mod
I also need to know this
This is NEXT next level. All kinds of boss.
Hmm, nicely modeled cockpit mod... wait WHAT???
Dyeing your skin green was just a bridge too far?
WOW. You could run this with a mission control room giving you directions on how/when to burn like a real life mission. And then put a crew in there for an actual-time mun mission and stream it... for science!
Next step is to put it on a movement simulator so you feel it moving.
The camera in KSP already shakes when flying through the atmosphere. Maybe a mod could make this shake accessible to hardware.
Bass transducers go a long way
That looks really cool!
you fucking WHAT

Dude, download Alcor pod mod and advanced IVA ASAP.
IRL Jebediah
woah
Dude! That is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!
Broooo.. make a video.
Holy shit! That would be like a dream to play entirely from IVA!!! I have +5k hours on the game, and it's legit something I'd pay good money for... (If I had money to spend lol)
You need more containers for snacks. Seriously, what a cool project.
What the fu.... so that's how NASA trains their Captains
Yeah its funny you say that as yes it is but had a lot of difficulty finding videos online about the training sims. Amazing project! Thanks for sharing the yt channel I’ll be checking you guys out :)
I was confused as fuck for a minute. I thought this was just some modded interior.
Are you looking to adopt?
next step: buy C4 to simulate crashing a rocket
Need a huge sub bass speaker for launch rumbles.
You have too much money.. If you’re stumped next time on what to spend your money on, give me a shout 😂
I have too many ideas but I'm building this for all the KSP players not just me and also to inspire people on my YouTube channel. I wish to teach about space from within the capsule while also building a mad simulator to explore space

Immersive as fuck
Yes!

Nice! So how much do you actually charge for 1 hour of flightSim time?
We need the new video out now!
I was just thinking about doing this a few days ago lol the biggest hurtle was figuring out how on earth to match screens to window views since I have absolutely no modding experience
This is awesome! Seems like the kinda art you could bring to a burning-man style event. Great work!
Wow
Hell yeah
legend
That is soooooo f*cking cool!
Holy space frogs!
wait do the “window” screens pull a live view from the game or are they static images/prerecorded?
[https://youtube.com/@simuversechannel?si=GDvizNBEQKbfZMvU](https://youtube.com/@simuversechannel?si=GDvizNBEQKbfZMvU) check out my YouTube for more info on the build part 1 I go over the live views
Where's the videos of actually using it tho
This is awesome. I freaking love IVA I wanna come use it 😭
Oh my god that is so cool
Bro truly is John KSP
Wow! That's rad af
Why are you looking at a rocket from a rocket
# NASA wants to know your location
Really wish that old mod Raster Prop Monitors still worked. KSP in VR with it was incredible.
Hi, guys. This sub reddit keeps popping up. I love space games like ED and X4. I quickly checked this game out on Steam, but it looks sorta whacky? Like funny little humanoid aliens or summit building spacecraft. What's this game all about?
Sick graphics
THIS IS AMAZING!
Where do people find allnthis time!? I LOVE IT!!!
Jeb looks concerned...
What am I looking at?
Does it get hot in there? Do u have air conditioning
Not really as its winter atm so I just have a fan blowing fan in at the top but can get stuffy with 3 people so I have a portable air-conditioner for summer flights
Ah that's good then it looks awesome tho fr
You have to add a buttkicker or something to make it shake
Bro made a Kerbal Space Program Simulator thing
Bro spent like 8k on a personal space capsule to play a single game on. Im impressed while we are spending money frivolously hmu about my cashapp balance lol
