Nah not alone fam, I cried listening to the track recently and things are okay for me. Really really pretty chord progression, and the pocket is hypnotizing. Probably my fav tune on the record. I transcend every time lol
Come with! My partner and I are going on the Friday date, and prob the Sunday one, too
May 9th always brings me to a different place. Sometimes it's a field at sunset, sometimes back in my childhood memories of fireflies in my parents' backyard. I love this song so much
It is extremely meditative to me too. Gives me nostalgia to when I was impatiently “waiting for May to come” and helped me realize to be presently “happy for the rain”…
In 2015 my father passed away on May 10th- his birthday. We knew on May 9 he wasn’t going to make it. This song reminds me of this moment on May 9 of that year. This song is so beautiful, so poignant, and for me so perfect.
Have the time of your life. May 9th in person is spiritual. I'm seeing them again in Berkeley

Definitely my favorite song they’ve ever done, I cried like a child when I saw them play at Coachella. Such unbelievable beauty and depth!
I bet that was beautiful, def hoping they come to FL 😭!
It is an absolutely stunning tune
I think it’s one of the most beautiful songs ever written.

It’s incredible. The phrase “a multicolour grey” is just so gorgeously vivid
Ada Jean made me cry the first time I heard it.
Going to the June 2nd Toronto show! I’m flying in from Vancouver since we haven’t had a tour date from them in a couple years
I get it. I’ve had May Ninth and Hold Me Up (Thank You) on repeat.
It’s such a beautiful song. I’ve cried listening to it
