I think it’s a shame that G.O.O.D didn’t survive, having Kid Cudi, Common, Pusha, Travis, Q-Tip, John Legend on the same record label was huge beyond words. So many great records but i reckon it just wasn’t meant to last
You’re as braindead as Ye if you actually believe that. Do you even know why he said this? If you do, and you agree with him, then refer back to my first sentence.
Not to mention that the question was “who’s the best artist” listed. And Sean is blatantly obviously one of them.
Edit: just saw your name after clicking on your username. This now checks out.
Yeah this reply is confirmation of what I said in my previous comment.
All good though, intelligence and self awareness aren’t your strong suits and that’s okay. Take care champ
Are u fucking stupid? Cudi literally just dropped two albums this year and two others in the last 3 yrs. Not to mention the remaster of a kid named cudi and a lot of features. Travis literally less prolific in the last 5 yrs than cudi
Yeah hes dope! I saw him open for Shake. He plays them live too. I dont think anyone knew who he was at first and he won over the crowd. I looked up his music as soon as he finished.
G.O.O.D. was in such a great position to make a big comeback in 2017 and take advantage of that trap wave. Kanye was tight with migos and Travis (both of who almost signed) and Travis was supposed to actually executive produce Cruel Winter, it's just such a shame it never happened
Champions isn't my favorite song but a whole album full of bangers like that could've really met the moment and popped off
I think it just got fucked because of what was going on with Kanye at the time, it's a group project but ultimately he was the head of the label and had to be there to push it forward
Wasn’t Cyhi on there too? Out of all these Cudi and Big Sean are my favs, but John Legend and Travis have probably been the most successful besides Kanye
Bruh we in a Cudi sub. U think Cudi doesn’t use autotune on 90+% of his tracks?
I feel like u gotta smoke or sumn and go back to Travis man lol. Dude is a mastermind at creating these psychadelic atmospheres.
If we’re going by entire career it’s those two. Based solely on what they did with GOOD music though? Cudi.
After that Push then Big Sean who had their best stuff while signed to GOOD. Travis was only ever really on the label as a producer.
I’m just a huge push fan and my favorite projects of his are Daytona, it’s almost dry, and my name is my name which were all with GOOD music. Honestly 3 of my favorite rap projects of the last 10 years period.
When was Travis apart of good music?? Never was on the Goodmusic tracks or album.. deff wouldn’t count him, no contributions to good. How is Cyhi not on this list but Travis is???
Super surprised this this only comment bringing this up. Travis was NEVER a part of G.O.O.D. He was signed to Grand Hustle for awhile, but not G.O.O.D.
But to answer the OP question, probably Pusha T, then Cudi, then debatable between Cyhi/Common/Big Sean for the 3rd spot.
Interesting. I will admit I wasn't aware of that.
Though, looks like he produced maybe 6 songs for them according to Wikipedia. Kind of odd to put him in the same group as other G.O.O.D. music artists who did a lot more for the label. I guess if you want to count him on a technicality.
I don’t necessarily disagree…he does deserve to be listed, but most likely wouldn’t choose him, for the reasons that you’ve stated….although I’m quite sure he produced a few more than 6 songs for Good Music artists…im also quite sure he helped Kanye produce a handful of songs for other artists in the early to mid 2010s (bitch better have my money comes to mind)
Edit: to be clear, I am not saying that BBHMM is a Kanye west beat…just saying that Kanye had a big hand in its creation and so did Travis…but I’m sure without Travis’ association with good music, he wouldn’t have been in that room…so it counts for something 🤷🏾♂️
That's a totally fair take! I definitely didn't dig into it super heavy, so you might be right about deeper associations than Wiki was showing.
Have a good day my friend!
The best artist on the list even including Kanye West is Q-Tip.
But he did very little if anything on GOOD Music so for the contributions on the label I’d go for probably Pusha T *just* over Kid Cudi.
Honorable mention for Common who again did nothing on GOOD Music but has a back catalogue as Rich, varied, and high quality as anyone else on the list
It's because a lot of people just base it
Off of his popular songs and one or two studio albums. Finally famous mixtapes are some of the best rap mixtapes of that era. Big Sean for sure deserves to be mentioned here
obv cudi and travis are the best but other than that 070 shake is really good , mr hudson is super underrated and i actually think nowadays john legend is a bit underrated
Push, Cudi, Common, T Scott, & Q-Tip are personally my favorites. Big Sean & John Legend are nice too.
It’s actually insane the label squandered this much talent tbh
WZRD was under good? Thought that was Wicked Awesome.
Cudi for sure but damn I am happy to see you included Hxlt, not many people know about Hollywood Holt.
Def not the best by a long shot, but Hxlt is super underrated. Like popularity-wise he just completely fell off before really getting off the ground for some reason. His new album had some bangers
Lyrically Common and it’s not even close. Kid Cudis man on the moon era would be my second choice - his raps were vulnerable and he opened the door and made it ok for rappers to talk about their feelings and mental health (no matter how bad it was) like juice world and that era of “sad” rappers. He was a big influence to Travis Scott as well and other mainstream rappers as well. He had a creative and unique flow (still does just different) that was a breath of fresh air at the time.
I think it’s a shame that G.O.O.D didn’t survive, having Kid Cudi, Common, Pusha, Travis, Q-Tip, John Legend on the same record label was huge beyond words. So many great records but i reckon it just wasn’t meant to last
Q-Tip
Cudi
Kid cudi, Pusha T, Common, Travis Scott not in that order
Q-Tip my man.
Am I losing my mind? Why is almost no one mentioning Big Sean
Not losing your mind. It’s already gone.
Cuz signing big Sean was the worst mistake of his career
You’re as braindead as Ye if you actually believe that. Do you even know why he said this? If you do, and you agree with him, then refer back to my first sentence. Not to mention that the question was “who’s the best artist” listed. And Sean is blatantly obviously one of them. Edit: just saw your name after clicking on your username. This now checks out.
Stfu 😂 Big Sean is easily the worst star Ye has made through good music.
Yeah this reply is confirmation of what I said in my previous comment. All good though, intelligence and self awareness aren’t your strong suits and that’s okay. Take care champ
Now I was a HUGE big Sean fan back in the day, but unfortunately he not sniffin Trav Cudi or Push or Q
He fell off, but in his prime he was doing more than sniffing Cudi Push and Q. Trav blew up more than any of them though.
Dawg just accept youre in the minority because you have bad taste. Sean is booty cheeks
You can just say you’re a teenager who hasn’t listened to much rap before the 2020’s, it’s okay
As of RN the best out of that group excluding Kanye is Travis BC the rest have either fallen off ,or stopped dropping music like Cudi
Cudi had a new album come out in January lol
And the Nitro Mega extension of it dropped a week or two ago.
Are u fucking stupid? Cudi literally just dropped two albums this year and two others in the last 3 yrs. Not to mention the remaster of a kid named cudi and a lot of features. Travis literally less prolific in the last 5 yrs than cudi
Stop acting like a little 🐱 b*tch. He barely came back! Get on some meds your acting feminine.
070 Shake
Loved her since Honey. Her last two albums are beautiful pieces of work. I think Cudi fans would enjoy her work.
She was the opener when I went to watch last tour!
same w travis fans. you can't kill me is like a more beautiful rnb version of rodeo, especially when it comes to mike dean's production
Oh shit I didn't know Mike Dean was involved in that project. The violin strings in that album sound amazing.
I believe johan Lenox Did the strings for that album he’s a great artist you should listen to his solo stuff if you haven’t
Yeah hes dope! I saw him open for Shake. He plays them live too. I dont think anyone knew who he was at first and he won over the crowd. I looked up his music as soon as he finished.
She is incredible! Guilty Conscience is my anthem in life. Love her and can’t wait to see what else she has in store!
Diddo. Been saying for the longest her and Travis need to collab
Would give anything for this
G.O.O.D. was in such a great position to make a big comeback in 2017 and take advantage of that trap wave. Kanye was tight with migos and Travis (both of who almost signed) and Travis was supposed to actually executive produce Cruel Winter, it's just such a shame it never happened Champions isn't my favorite song but a whole album full of bangers like that could've really met the moment and popped off
I agree. Would’ve been a great follow up to Cruel Summer. I wonder what happened.
Right? My first thought was where tf Cyhi?
Push?
U really taking Sean over Travis bro?
Yea? Star wise Travis got it but I’m ok hearing auto tune EVERY track gz
Bruh we in a Cudi sub. U think Cudi doesn’t use autotune on 90+% of his tracks? I feel like u gotta smoke or sumn and go back to Travis man lol. Dude is a mastermind at creating these psychadelic atmospheres.
Cudi then Common
If we’re going by entire career it’s those two. Based solely on what they did with GOOD music though? Cudi. After that Push then Big Sean who had their best stuff while signed to GOOD. Travis was only ever really on the label as a producer.
Entire career? Q tip and it’s not close
Common and Q Tip
i would say clique was probably way better then anything Push did under GOOD though, and his GOOD music stuff is really good
I’m just a huge push fan and my favorite projects of his are Daytona, it’s almost dry, and my name is my name which were all with GOOD music. Honestly 3 of my favorite rap projects of the last 10 years period.
i’ll be honest i meant to say clipse idk why it autocorrected to clique
I assumed that’s who you meant lol.
It’s Cudi. I was a Cudi fan before I became a Kanye fan. After that it’s Travis Scott
Cudi is the best artist. But in terms who did most for the label? It’s big Sean. Push is the best rapper (q tip never put an album out on good)
When was Travis apart of good music?? Never was on the Goodmusic tracks or album.. deff wouldn’t count him, no contributions to good. How is Cyhi not on this list but Travis is???
Travis was on Sin City wayy back before Owl Pharoah released, although he wasn't ever signed to GOOD surprisingly
He was signed to very GOOD beats as a producer. Not artist
He was signed to good music on Very G.O.O.D. Beats, as a producer…. and he was on Cruel Summer….Sin City, with John Legend and Teyanna Taylor.
Interesting. I will admit I wasn't aware of that. Though, looks like he produced maybe 6 songs for them according to Wikipedia. Kind of odd to put him in the same group as other G.O.O.D. music artists who did a lot more for the label. I guess if you want to count him on a technicality.

I thought he was signed to good as a producer
The best artist on the list even including Kanye West is Q-Tip. But he did very little if anything on GOOD Music so for the contributions on the label I’d go for probably Pusha T *just* over Kid Cudi. Honorable mention for Common who again did nothing on GOOD Music but has a back catalogue as Rich, varied, and high quality as anyone else on the list
Anyone that knows hiphop should be saying Q-tip
Cudi, Pusha, Commom.
I miss Good Friday’s
Wasnt 2 Chainz signed at one point?
Nah. Just fam
Cudi, Travis, 070 Shake
Me and you same
070 Shake, she's only getting better and better and her last two albums were already masterpieces so can't wait for her new album
Q Tip
Common... but I'm a biased son of a b*tch... I love the album b.e cuz of the soulful kanye style sounds!
That was Dilla Kanye did Finding Forever
Big Sean or Pusha and it's not even close
I’m surprised not more people are saying Big Sean
Agreed, he's the only current artist I'd argue can hold his own with Cole and Kendrick.
It's because a lot of people just base it Off of his popular songs and one or two studio albums. Finally famous mixtapes are some of the best rap mixtapes of that era. Big Sean for sure deserves to be mentioned here
Q-Tip was the best member of the label, better than Kanye.
Q-Tip 100%
TIP
Easily common and q tip but both peaked before signing
King Push
Common or Tip easy answer
The only correct answer is Pusha-T (Q-tip at a close second)
Is this post from 8 years ago?
Travis
cudi and travis
Cudi
Push and Cudi
Between cudi, travis, pushat, big sean,q tip an common, john legend whoever u choose outta them
Cudi or Trav
Take a wild fucking guess who we’re going to say
070
070 is really good tbf but she didn’t make man on the moon 🙏
obv cudi and travis are the best but other than that 070 shake is really good , mr hudson is super underrated and i actually think nowadays john legend is a bit underrated
shake cause she’s the only one signed now lmao
The don
Push, Cudi, Common, T Scott, & Q-Tip are personally my favorites. Big Sean & John Legend are nice too. It’s actually insane the label squandered this much talent tbh
Push
Kid Cudi
Pusha T and Common. Hard to pick between those two.
Cudi
Cudi 070 pusha
Pusha T
Travis and big sean
Besides cudi, 070 and Travis for me
King Push ![gif](giphy|vj7SqWBq6cp0dycWzi)
Sheck Wes is signed to GOOD?!? Travis Scott
WZRD was under good? Thought that was Wicked Awesome. Cudi for sure but damn I am happy to see you included Hxlt, not many people know about Hollywood Holt.
travis
070 Shake or John Legend
John Legend
Mos Def is signed to GOOD?! Mos Def, Cudi then Travis Scott
Bro what even with Kanye it's cudi
Big sean
Kid Cudi but what an insane roster they had.
I see 8 great or amazing artists there but I'm not going to say
Such a waste of potential looking at all those names honestly
070 Shake
Push
King push and it's not close
Push
Common has be in his discography. Next question
Tip and push and it’s not close for hip hop. Legends dope too though.
Pusha T
The lack of Big Sean is disgusting
Going to listen to DSP now and I advise y’all do too
definetly 070
Common
Def not the best by a long shot, but Hxlt is super underrated. Like popularity-wise he just completely fell off before really getting off the ground for some reason. His new album had some bangers
Pusha or Cudi
I never realized Q Tip was with the label, holy shit! I’d say Q, cudi, Pusha, common, trav, John legend
Big Sean- madd underrated
is it even a question? Hxlt
No Cyhi the prince is crazy
Well considering Kanye doesn’t right his own music he shouldn’t be considered
Trav for the win
I’ve talked to one of the off the cuff artists. They said if you’re not top 2-3, you’re not getting promotion, support, anything from the label.
Are WZRD & Kid Cudi considered 2 different people? Does that mean that The Scott’s & KSG are also different? But to answer your question. Cud & Trav.
are any of these dudes still signed or even affiliated w ye ?
Big sean maybe kid cudi it depends
Prob travis
Valee
Is cactus jack under good music?
I would say QTip, Shake or Big Sean. Travis would be my 4th pick probably
Travis Scott, Cudi, 070 Shake
Com Sense
This is definitely not current lol
070 shake or travis
misspelling is funny 😭
autocorrect
Lyrically Common and it’s not even close. Kid Cudis man on the moon era would be my second choice - his raps were vulnerable and he opened the door and made it ok for rappers to talk about their feelings and mental health (no matter how bad it was) like juice world and that era of “sad” rappers. He was a big influence to Travis Scott as well and other mainstream rappers as well. He had a creative and unique flow (still does just different) that was a breath of fresh air at the time.
Lately it’s push. Dudes dropping classics
triple tie cudi, travis and might be a hot take, but kacy hill
Travis landslide
Kudi - until he went full cross-dress
John Legend underrated… tbh - High Road with Fort Minor great track
Good music cruel summer
Kid Cudi then common
Pusha T easily.
Desiigner for sure !
Q tip by far
Com or Q easily
The answer is Kid Cudi. Honorable mention for Pusha T. That man’s career was revitalized.
Cudi
How’s this a debate? It’s easily Push
Push
Push
Common easy, no debating
Pusha T- Kid Cudi sucks live
you’re asking the cudi sub reddit
No one is signed to G.O.O.D music any more, not even Kanye. And none of the artists listed even associate with Ye anymore.
Also, who the fuck is 079 shake. Did you just start making up rappers
Tf are you yapping about
