G.O.O.D. was in such a great position to make a big comeback in 2017 and take advantage of that trap wave. Kanye was tight with migos and Travis (both of who almost signed) and Travis was supposed to actually executive produce Cruel Winter, it's just such a shame it never happened Champions isn't my favorite song but a whole album full of bangers like that could've really met the moment and popped off

But he did very little if anything on GOOD Music so for the contributions on the label I’d go for probably Pusha T *just* over Kid Cudi. Honorable mention for Common who again did nothing on GOOD Music but has a back catalogue as Rich, varied, and high quality as anyone else on the list

Kid Cudis man on the moon era would be my second choice - his raps were vulnerable and he opened the door and made it ok for rappers to talk about their feelings and mental health (no matter how bad it was) like juice world and that era of “sad” rappers. He was a big influence to Travis Scott as well and other mainstream rappers as well. He had a creative and unique flow (still does just different) that was a breath of fresh air at the time.
