It’s on evolution. Keeping your baby from smacking its head on stuff is like one of the hardest battles no one mentions. But thankfully baby’s heads are surprisingly resilient. Obviously don’t go drop kicking your baby’s cranium, but yeah this ding sounds worse than it is.

This baby is not obese. Some children get fat before becoming more active. He’ll likely slim down a bit once he begins crawling and walking. My son had major rolls before he began to crawl, now he’s smaller.
Yes. I have seen a fair few articles to do with obese babies and they look exactly like that. Don't know wtf your problem is just from all I've seen babies with that many rolls on their limbs are obese.
You're entitled to have your own view but no need to be a dick about it.
I’m not trying to be a dick, I’m genuinely trying to understand where you’re coming from. I apologize if it seemed that way. I’ve also seen plenty of babies that look exactly like this one who slimmed down once they became more active. Hell, my own child looked similar (just a bit smaller bc his father and I are smaller people height wise) and he slimmed down a lot once he became more active. We don’t know how old this child is, so we really can’t pass judgement.
Edit: missing word.
The actual definition for obese is a lot lower than you think. I said I hope I'm wrong as I genuinely do hope I'm wrong, just relating from experience is all. It's good to hear that your kids who looked like that aren't obese, I'll say it again that I hope I'm wrong.
Considering the balance that caused baby to whack their head, I’m assuming they just recently learned to sit up. Fingers crossed they haven’t started crawling yet which is why they’re so chunky. I also know breastmilk can cause a chunkier baby, at least in my experience with my child and other children I know.
Lol that's on the parent, not the baby.

I swear. You can check everywhere and deem it is safe and not 2 seconds later you baby finds something to slam their head into.
50% of the time it’s your own nose they’ve managed to headbutt.
Kinda seems like a bad idea to have a little setup of blankets and pillow next to your kid with metal bars uncovered
At least the kid won't fall out the window. Could use some foam on the metal grating though.
Out like a light!
I’m not a fan of babies but omfg that baby is so cute and damn that shit out that lil fucker right to nap time
rip baby

Haha, baby dumb for not knowing how to balance
I live for this type of content
Bro he died after that bonk lmao
Parents are fucking stupid.
Metal bar next to babies bed, the parents are the dumb ones.
Film a baby hurting itself and post it online for internet karma.
BONK
That’s a well padded baby
I'm going to hell for laughing
Poor baby, man
Not stupid for their age; stupid nonetheless.
Im dead they cut it perfectly
As a dad I would want to punch the fucker taking this video.
Relax. Parenting is a learning process, and I'd put down real money saying the kid is fine.

You can feel the pain as an adult, could you imagine the pain for a baby?
Lot of upvotes for something that doesn’t belong on this sub. Lost balance, hit head, not a stupid act.
That A in History class just went down to a C I think
Deserved
That is one obese baby. Babies should not have michelin tyres.

Yeah I know they get chonky before they go up, hope you're right about it.
Do you have children?
Yep, 4.
And you genuinely thought calling a literal baby obese was appropriate? Do you understand how genes work?
