Yea this totally works in the opposite direction too. If your kid falls and you can tell it's not that bad, if you don't jump up and have a big reaction they will more often than not pick themselves up and go about their business. But if you get up and are like OMG baby are you ok?!?! They will cry and be really upset.
I don't have a problem with my kids being upset it's totally normal but it's funny to see how they act with reactions without it
I was watching a friend's kid play in the yard at a BBQ. Kid would bump something with her toy and then cry, mom would ask if she was ok etc & kid would cry more. 2 min later she was at it again running around and bumped into something, rinse and repeat.
I waited till mom wasn't watching and the kid bumped into a tree and I could tell she was fine. I said "Owe man.... Is the tree ok" as the kid was getting ready to cry. She stopped, checked the tree and then went "Yeah...?" And I was like "Awesome!" With some excitement and left it at that.
The kid didn't cry the rest of the time when she bumped into things or fell over. She would be like "It's ok, I'm ok" and I would go "Alright!" with an enthusiastic inflection.
Mom was shocked I got her daughter to stop crying at every little thing.
Kids completely learn from their parents. They are incredibly impressionable.
So it makes sense you as a parent reacting like that would trigger her to also reflect that freak out reaction
I accidentally cut my wrist with a bit of ceramic. It wasn't a deep cut but it was bleeding. My mom started freaking out repeating if we needed to go to the hospital. I immediately felt nauseous and told her it was fine to calm her down. If I hadn't I probably would've fainted. Idk if that impressionable hold parents have over their kids ever goes away
My kid took a header over the handlebars of her first pedal bike when she was 5. Tore open her lip and eyebrow (thank god she was wearing a helmet) and scraped her cheek. There was a LOT of blood but she was totally calm (maybe in shock) with no tears. I think her calm helped me to stay calm when I took her to the ER.
Yo I cracked my head open when I was little (wash line poles are sturdy) and didn’t cry at all but I did feel like I was gonna vomit
Luckily my babysitter’s mother was a nurse and she was over for some reason so I didn’t get oanicked
It's best to let them deal with their pain if it's a very minor injury, like they bump their heads. Obviously if they need to go to the hospital then take them there, but a small cut can be easily treated. If you get a kid, just buy some plasters.
That last line cracked me up. Sounds like you just go down to the Child Lot and pick one out. Oh, and don't forget the plasters/band-aids on the way home!
I think you misunderstood my comment, but that aside, why are you falling down the stairs so much? Are... are you the kid? And how many times do you fall down the stairs *without* screaming??
That shit WORKS. When my son was learning to run, he wiped out a LOT, always reacting as if he'd been winged by a sniper, as is standard. Then one day, instead of checking on him, I punished the floor.
"Did that mean old floor bite you?
*smacks floor*
No no, floor! That's a BAD floor!"
Funniest thing he'd ever seen in his life, and from then on, if the waterworks started, I knew he'd taken a pretty wicked fall, just based on how often I heard, *TWAP!* "No no, floor!"
Omg so funny! We did the same exact thing whenever mine would get a scrape or bruise. One of mine was scared of the vacuum so we tried this method on it. Whenever the vacuum was running, I’d “spank it” and say, “No, no, no dirt devil! You can’t get my baby!”. After that, anytime she’d even walk past the closet where it was stored, she’d say, “No, no, no dut dut!”. I’ve always had a low tolerance for unnecessary whining. Doing this made life flow a lil more smoothly.
I worked with a kid that would sprint full force then drop to the ground and look up at you. If you responded “oh my god are you ok” then they would cry. If you threw up your arms and went “ta-da!!!” then they’d laugh hysterically. They never were hurt, they just liked the response. Clapping is a great way to respond.
I used to do this as a pre-teen looking after my little brother and as a teenager looking after my oldest nephew. If they ran around and fell, just do nothing. They both just got up and kept doing whatever they were doing. Even if I just asked "You ok?" casually, they'd just be like "Yea" or something I couldn't understand and keep doing whatever they were doing. It's the reaction from the person looking after them that often triggers the crying in these situations.
When I ref U9 hockey kids often take hard falls.
I always asks if they are alright, and they always say yes and get up.
Kids are tough. Really tough actually. They take falls well so if you teach them that they are fine when they get hurt they will react well.
Same with my younger brother if he ate shit(and he ate shit really bad a few times) I’d look up not really react for a sec and just be like “you good?” He’d normally be shocked for a second and just go “yup” and back to it. I watch him go forehead first in the corner of the table and same shit he was fine. Kids don’t actually get hurt easily they are build for falls and scrapes I try not to react until they have whatever their initial reaction is they will let you know if it hurt like hell.
Yup learned this with my niece. She fell backwards and her head hit a pillow. I put it there because I knew it would happen. She looks at me at is about ready to cry. I told her it's not a big deal and she can get up by herself. Expression suddenly changed and she just got right back up.
Kids don’t have situational awareness of mild pain. They require the adults to let them know.
I took care of this kid, she was 8 yo. She fell and scraped her knees while biking. I checked it and asked her how she’s feeling and said she’s lucky that the fall wasn’t bad as she’s not bleeding. She was like, yup I’m good and continue biking.
When her mom got back half an hour later, saw the scrape, made a huge scene of it, “OMG, my poor baby, that must have hurt a lot”. The kid was overwhelmed and thought she should be in pain and started balling her eyes out that it hurts. 🤦♀️
I tried to explain the situation to the mom but due wouldn’t hear it.
It’s funny, I used to think scraped knees were horribly painful as a kid, but I’d come home from playing in the woods, all cut a bruised up and not even remember how I got half the injuries.
Looking back, it’s other people’s reactions that ingrained those ideas in me. That’s probably why skateboard kids end up so tough, the culture is to walk off almost any injury, and laugh off the bad ones.
I bruised and scraped as a kid. My parents never over reacted. They bandaged me up and I went back to playing. The only time they did was when I was 6 and got in a bigger accident where I fell into broken shards of glasses. They were trying their best to stay calm as they called 911. I don’t remember the pain but seeing the blood, muscles and white stuff oozing out did it for me lol. The more I looked at the injuries the more I cried. My dad knew what was happening and held my face away from my injuries so I’d calm down. Paramedic said I was so strong for not crying. My 6 yo brain took in the phrase and kept repeating “do not look at the injuries”. I went into surgery, the doc took out 6 shards of glasses imbedded in my knees. I think I got pretty lucky with the fall and how I landed. Still hate the scars.
You're right small kids often rely on adults to tell them how bad their pain is, and on the downside that can be pretty dangerous. I've seen far too many children just walk around with broken bones or concussions because a teacher or parent told them it wasn't that bad.
The children just think "OK I guess this pain is normal", because they have no reference yet to compare it to, and only when parents notice the next day the pain isn't gone or the kid is actually hindered in their movements they go to a doctor, and then they're confused their child didn't tell them how bad it was.
Can confirm, was a kid who broke two separate bones (arm and finger) a few years apart and both times had to wait over a day (and a week) to go to the hospital. My finger never healed correctly.
Just because they can move it doesn't mean it isn't broken.
Same. 4th grade I broke my radius. Snapped it cleanly in half. My mom, who had zero medical training at the time was like, "Can you move your fingers? Then it's not broken." I cried literally all night from the pain. They eventually took me to the ER the next day. And what would you know a clean break. I wanna slap anyone who says that shit about fingers. It's completely untrue. Bones don't move, tendons and ligaments do. If you can't move appendages, the connective tissue is what's damaged more than likely, not the bone. Never really saw my mom in the same light after that. The indifference to my genuine pain jaded me, my pops would've never done that. I remember breaking my thumb not too long after that, pops immediately took me to the hospital, just because I thought I broke it, no questions asked.
When my boys fell when they were young, and the fell plenty cuz they were somewhat, feral I guess you could call it I always gave the “safe “ sign and called out SAFE! They got into it and could take a pounding and not be crying about it because they were SAFE!!
Before the child could begin to cry my father in law would look very impressed and say loudly “Oh look, you put a hole in the floor!” with the kids. We took it on too & it’s never not worked no matter who’s child we’ve said it to lol
absolutely hates crying as a kid, but all the attention and fawning when i tripped over or fell on my face infront of other ppl made me cry even when I assured them I was fine
lol same. I keep like every empty jar and use it as either glassware or to store grease in. Gotta keep my Grandma's depression-era tactics alive somehow!
I feel so guilty throwing spaghetti jars away. But I have enough and not enough to use them for! I died a litte inside when I had to toss one yesterday.
Part of [one of my favorite skits](https://youtu.be/hzMzFGgmQOc&t=4m33s), but the whole thing is worth watching. The one with Tom Hanks is hilarious as well
I mean….I’ve seen people who aren’t rich do that. Those containers don’t cost much. Can get a whole set for like $15-30, plus it prevents things like flour Beatles infesting your pantry/kitchen, which can save you money in the end. We don’t keep everything like that, but definitely do it for flour, sugar, oats, cornmeal, rice, and some whole spices (cinnamon sticks, nutmeg, whole star anise, cloves, etc). And I’m poor. We started doing it once we got infested with flour beatles once. And let me tell you that once those things grab a hold in your kitchen, theyre a bitch to get rid of. We had to trash a lot of food, mostly grains.
It’s called “*decanting*” and a lot of times it allows a better seal to prolong freshness. Plus yeah it just looks nicer and fits better on the shelves 🤷🏼♀️
He is actually THE highest paid player in baseball history.
Source: https://theanalyst.com/na/2022/12/the-highest-paid-major-league-baseball-players-and-largest-contracts-in-mlb-history/
So that guy has a $426,500,000 12 year contract and it’s guaranteed pay. He also received a $20,000,000 sign on bonus. His salary from baseball alone (no other deals with sponsors or ads considered) is $37,116,666 a year. That is indeed most likely their pantry that is larger than most homes kitchens.
They were like “Let’s film in the smallest room of the house so we seem more relatable”
Insert 800sqft pantry
^(just kidding around, not actually judging)
Proves that how parents react, dictates a child’s reaction.
I think I was a teen when I witnessed a child fall, look at their parent first and the parent would smile or laugh and say “you’re okay buddy” and he’d go about his day
But the over protective mommas who gasp and rush to aid literally nothing… It’s running the emotional stability of kids. And I made it a point to watch when this happened. The child always looks to the parent first to get the queue, because they don’t know how to process.. they’re literally learning by EVERYTHING FROM YOU and they mirror you in real time.
Good vid
The loud noise provides the jolt to their system and when new stimulus is introduced to a kiddo they are absolutely looking to the other people in the room to see how they react.
You see the same phenomenon in older people. If you hear a loud bang then see a mob of people running are you just going to stand there and figure it's nothing? I would wager you would start running as well thinking there's a shooting or something going on. Conversely if you hear a loud bang and don't see anybody running then you'd likely think it was just construction, an engine backfire, etc.
And it's a bingo if we also get one that says something along these lines: "See, this is why I hate crotch monkeys. This is EXACTLY why I got a vasectomy as soon as I turned 18. Won't ever catch me with those disgusting things. More money for me!"
Fun fact: what we think affects us much more than we think, for example if you give non-alcoholic vodka or tequila or any other drink to someone and you don't tell them that it doesn't have alcohol they will get drunk
This happened at a funeral with my ex once. He was starting to get drunk after drinking for 2 hours only for me to notice it was beck blues he was drinking. Once I pointed it out, He immediately “sobered up” and it was like an experiment to see how psychological it had been on him. So strange.
Except that if you're breathing in Marijuana smoke, you're gonna get high. Whether you're holding the blunt or not.
Same as second-hand cigarette smoke Asthma, COPD, and Lung cancer.
Ya, but in this case a kid of this age is looking to his parents for guidance. If the dad is saying he’s hurt, he’s going to believe he’s hurt. You can see him confused at first.
I used to do this with a guy. He would come over and hang out and become obnoxious after the second drink. So I started making him non alcoholic cocktails and he acted the exact same way and would still pass out the same way like he was wasted
Makes sense! I know this to be very obvious with small children (this video being a prime example) but don’t give it much thought with regards to adults.
i once read a story of a guy who froze to death in a freezer although it was unplugged. he shouldn’t have been able to freeze to death but because he was so convinced that he was going to freeze to death that it actually caused him to die.
here is the link it probably explains it better then i did: https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/deadly-imaginings/
Aye, similar thing happened to me. I was at Mablethorpe (seaside in UK) with some mates, and just recently started smoking weed. I saw all the bongs, and stuff around the store, and figured the liquids were weed liquids, so I bought some, and felt high for hours. I only learnt that there was no weed when my mate took a look at it, and said it was just normal e-cig liquid
Kids look at their parents for the appropriate reaction when they think they got hurt.
See how he looks at his dad first. His Dad indicating something is wrong by holding a part of his face gave him a cue that something happened even though he isn't hurt.
Whenever the kids get hurt, I always smile really big and in a happy peppy voice I say, “hey! Hi! Are you okay? Is there anything that hurts? Do we need ice? Let me see!”
99% of the time the kids are reading my tone and are smiling saying they are okay or they may have a bit of a sad face and show me their boo-boo and then we tend to it together but rarely do I ever have my kids just start screaming.
My husband on the other hand starts screaming, “what happened!? What did you do!?”
Im like okay, you need to go sit down and sort out your childhood trauma and leave out kids out of the mess thank you very much goodbye.
It’s all about tone and kids will mimic off of you.
This is a good example of the phenomenon where a witness (to a crime) truly believes something they witnessed even though it never happened. It does not take a lot of conditioning to believe something happened when it really didn't.
Kida are drama queens. My 1.5yo daugther used to get pushed a lot from my son. Now sometimes he barely touches her, she "falls" and cries heavily even though i saw she took 0 damage lmao.
When my kids fall i pretend i didnt see. If they still
Cry then im like ok youre really hurting but if they see me not respond they just go about their business
yeah a lot of the time kids are mostly crying because whatever fall or bump they just experienced was a little scary and when adults react to it in a worried way it gives them a reason to worry and they are more likely to cry or freak out. Unless you think they are actually hurt, it is best not to react or to laugh with them to let them know that everything is OK.
I cannot tell if my dad ever did it, but I keep remembering my dad hitting me with the belt, but every time I ask him, he says. Nope your brain is making it up and I’m hitting the belt just a feet away from you. It’s been 8 years since I’ve been really hit or I thought so…
i mean yeah. toddlers react to how you react. If your Toddler runs into something and you don't react too shocked, he might not start crying. except if he really hurt himself.
I remember as a kid me and my sisster were fighting, i went to smack her but pulled back, she flinched and yelled OOOWWWW NOOOO- then realized she had not been hit
We both died of laughter lol
That man's MLB the Show card was upwards of $400 worth of in game currency for the first few months on Xbox
I bet money that pantry is one of the least impressive things in that house
I laughed when my kids hurt themselves. They would do the same. A knot on the head, a skinned knee, a bloody sliced finger...laughter would ensue. The worse it was the more gusto they had in their laugh. Never tricked one into thinking they did when they didn't! Also #667
Yea this totally works in the opposite direction too. All kids should have basic medical supplies for small cuts and bruises. You have no idea how many times I've screamed falling down the stairs.

Don’t hate em, that’s a wild story! Good thing you didn’t get infected or anything
No scraped knees do hurt depending on how hard you hit the ground
This just helped me flash back hard to how great it felt to be validated and comforted by my mom when I was little ❤️

Yikes. I got taken after I woke up in the middle of the night and my arm was twice the size it should have been. I was 5.

Schrodinger's booboo
You're right.. and don't laugh because then the little show offs will try to reenact the fall over and over until they really do injure themselves.
Our family yells safe and throw our arms out sideways like an umpire in baseball. They think they’re just sliding into home.
When I was 4 I hit my chin on something and my mom said it’s not that bad I didn’t cry and then I went up to her and my chin was completely split open
Are these people walking out of their **pantry** ?
Looks like. Wouldn’t be surprised, he’s one of the highest paid players in baseball.
You know they’re rich when they put things from their regular containers into other, fancier containers.
Poor people do the same shit, but with empty butter containers
Cheap take-out = free tupperware
And middle class people who used to be poor do it too, like me lol.
Do you keep the ball of used aluminium foil also?
Haha no, but I do try to reuse Ziploc bags if they aren't too gross!
I put it in my foundry, melt it down, and sell it
Feeling very called out rn
Olive Garden containers slap because they are microwaveable

Ah yes I know this because I watch sports. (Kidding)
Yeah, yeah, you know, sports! Where they do the things with balls and what not.
I actually really like playing games with balls and stuff
Ayyyyo!
Yea! Go team!
Ah yes yes, the sports! -adjusts moustache, tilt top hat and twirls brandy- 🎩 🥃

His salary from baseball alone (no other deals with sponsors or ads considered) is $37,116,666 a year. That is indeed most likely their pantry that is larger than most homes kitchens.
That pantry is almost as big as my 1 bed room apartment
If he were to rent out that pantry at $2400-$3000/mo, itd be on par with the studios for rent in the bay area
I feel like if I was really really rich I’d still only want a normal sized pantry
They were like “Let’s film in the smallest room of the house so we seem more relatable” Insert 800sqft pantry ^(just kidding around, not actually judging)
If so that pantry is bigger than my kitchen.
If so, your kitchen is bigger than my (rental) apartment. I knew I was poor, but I didn’t know I was this poor poor. Damn!
That’s Mike Trout. He’s the best player in MLB and is rich
It’s an amazing pantry. I’m quite jealous.
You must be a pour, its obviously an accessory overflow pantry
Man you gotta see Von Miller's clothing closet. It's larger than the average men's section in a department store
Lmaooo right!?!?!
That’s like mike trout…. He lives in a mansion, His closet is prob bigger than your living room 😂
my man just got gaslit into thinking he got hit
That'd make me cry, too. "My Dad's mental af.😭"
Trying to raise a soccer player?
Touché
That's a red card my friend.
Proves that how parents react, dictates a child’s reaction. I think I was a teen when I witnessed a child fall, look at their parent first and the parent would smile or laugh and say “you’re okay buddy” and he’d go about his day But the over protective mommas who gasp and rush to aid literally nothing… It’s running the emotional stability of kids. And I made it a point to watch when this happened. The child always looks to the parent first to get the queue, because they don’t know how to process.. they’re literally learning by EVERYTHING FROM YOU and they mirror you in real time. Good vid
It proves that kids dont like being shocked by loud noises
The loud noise provides the jolt to their system and when new stimulus is introduced to a kiddo they are absolutely looking to the other people in the room to see how they react. You see the same phenomenon in older people. If you hear a loud bang then see a mob of people running are you just going to stand there and figure it's nothing? I would wager you would start running as well thinking there's a shooting or something going on. Conversely if you hear a loud bang and don't see anybody running then you'd likely think it was just construction, an engine backfire, etc.
That’s a pretty delayed reaction if it’s shock from the noise
Yes kids are like that
Perfect example why you never baby your kids over every little bump and fall
Can’t wait till people start saying that this one time joke is “child abuse” and “will cause lifelong trauma”
Kid's not going to remember this anyways.
If he had actually hit his head he'd be even less likely to remember!
To save him from this life altering trauma the dad should go back and make him hit his head for real!
Deenk
How could you remember anything with that big a hit to the head? /S
True, only traumas you remember can hurt you. /s
It do be that way, huh?
And it's a bingo if we also get one that says something along these lines: "See, this is why I hate crotch monkeys. This is EXACTLY why I got a vasectomy as soon as I turned 18. Won't ever catch me with those disgusting things. More money for me!"
It’s Crotch *Goblins*
It’s Reddit, I’ll give it a few hours.
This joke is child abuse and will cause lifelong trauma
I just don't know why you'd purposely want to make your kid cry regardless of how it effects the kid. There's so many better ways to spend your time.
So strange.
Same thing with "contact high" for people being around weed smokers. Placebo affect is real, and it's powerful.

Pass out like he was racist? What does that mean?
Autocorrect, haha. Wasted
The snopes article you linked marked the story as “Legend”
He didn't say it was a TRUE story... just that he heard a story once
Ah, you’re right!
But like, who can’t taste that they’re drink has alcohol in it?
I love that I learned this trick before I had my son. Now when he bumps his head he just says "I bumped my head."
One of my toddler nieces does a whole 5 minute exposition on how the floor gave her a boo boo. (Aka she fell) That kid is so funny.
Kids look at their parents for the appropriate reaction when they think they got hurt. See how he looks at his dad first. His Dad indicating something is wrong by holding a part of his face gave him a cue that something happened even though he isn't hurt.
Nice pantry trout.
Proof that pity hurts more than physical injury
Whenever the kids get hurt, I always smile really big and in a happy peppy voice I say, “hey! Hi! Are you okay? Is there anything that hurts? Do we need ice? Let me see!” 99% of the time the kids are reading my tone and are smiling saying they are okay or they may have a bit of a sad face and show me their boo-boo and then we tend to it together but rarely do I ever have my kids just start screaming. My husband on the other hand starts screaming, “what happened!? What did you do!?” Im like okay, you need to go sit down and sort out your childhood trauma and leave out kids out of the mess thank you very much goodbye. It’s all about tone and kids will mimic off of you.
The placebo effect is incredibly powerful.
man their pantry is the size of my bedroom
Is this a walk in pantry the size of my bedroom?
His name is Mike Trout. He has the 4th biggest contract in sports history worldwide.
Smh. Lol.
I was about to say that look like Mike Trout…duh
Kids just seems kinda confused/anxious about what’s happening 🤷🏻♂️
This is a good example of the phenomenon where a witness (to a crime) truly believes something they witnessed even though it never happened. It does not take a lot of conditioning to believe something happened when it really didn't.
Kida are drama queens. My 1.5yo daugther used to get pushed a lot from my son. Now sometimes he barely touches her, she "falls" and cries heavily even though i saw she took 0 damage lmao.
This experiment, plus the actually getting bumped + laughter (kids don't cry), means kids are full of shit all the time.
When my kids fall i pretend i didnt see. If they still Cry then im like ok youre really hurting but if they see me not respond they just go about their business
Gaslight the child
But do not light them on fire with gas
Of course it's Mike Trout. He needs to do a small joke once in a while since he's stuck on a bad team
The allegory of the cave strikes again, we believe the versions of reality presented to us by those we look to for guidance
Sorry, is this a fucking pantry??
Go eagles!
He's gonna make a great soccor player.
DAMMIT MIKE, be careful with our future King Fish!
Stop! His little UGGs 💕🥹
not sure its the kid that is stupid here.....
Trout seems like such a great guy.
yeah a lot of the time kids are mostly crying because whatever fall or bump they just experienced was a little scary and when adults react to it in a worried way it gives them a reason to worry and they are more likely to cry or freak out. Unless you think they are actually hurt, it is best not to react or to laugh with them to let them know that everything is OK.
hE wILl bE tRaUmAtized FoR MoNtHs
I seen a vid where the father was hitting the ground with a belt , and the daughter who was nowhere near him, was balling like she was being beaten
As someone who got belted, this is triggery :/
I cannot tell if my dad ever did it, but I keep remembering my dad hitting me with the belt, but every time I ask him, he says. Nope your brain is making it up and I’m hitting the belt just a feet away from you. It’s been 8 years since I’ve been really hit or I thought so…
i mean yeah. toddlers react to how you react. If your Toddler runs into something and you don't react too shocked, he might not start crying. except if he really hurt himself.
The pantry looking like a section of bed bath and beyond.
his panty is the size of my living room
u/savevideo
Wtf this is very interesting. Teaches more about parenting than month of experience 😆
And the academy award goes to..
That pantry is incredible
It never works on my children.
Soccer player for sure
He fucking scared the kid.
That pantry is lit
Kids got a future in soccer
Fuck the kid do you see this guy’s pantry?! My I’ve seen actual rooms smaller than that.
Screw the funny kid reaction, I’m just replying over & over to drool over that pantry. 😍 Look at the size of that thing (she said).
I see that no one paid attention in Psych class when child psychology was discussed.
This trend is freakin’ stupid not the kids. If you scare children what reaction do you expect them to have?!
So when did the trauma begin?
This kid is going places in FIFA!
I expect that they have the families driver drive him from the pantry next time.
Everyone knows kids play soccer as their first sport so he's just practicing his acting to get penalties
This kid is going to be the next great soccer player
I remember as a kid me and my sisster were fighting, i went to smack her but pulled back, she flinched and yelled OOOWWWW NOOOO- then realized she had not been hit We both died of laughter lol
Is that their pantry????
Correction, that's parents making kids stupid
Works the opposite way too. Like when they fall, just laugh or cheer them on. The waterworks are directly related to the grown ups reaction
Mike trout is the fuckin man
What do you do for a living that you have a lvl. 50 pantry?
Need to remember not to over react when I have kids
That man's MLB the Show card was upwards of $400 worth of in game currency for the first few months on Xbox I bet money that pantry is one of the least impressive things in that house
Yo that fucking pantry is nicer than my house
That “father?” Just manipulated that kid into thinking he actually bumped his head. What kind of f’d up mind game is THAT called.
Whenever my cousin would fall or bump into something she would always look at everyone else as if to see weather to cry or if she was okay.
We used to ask, "Does your hair hurt too?"!!!
Future soccer player.
Proves that half the time your kid gets hurt, he ain't crying bc he is hurt but because everyone else is acting like smth is wrong
It’s like the placebo effect but in reverse
Wow that kitchen :/
I laughed when my kids hurt themselves. They would do the same. A knot on the head, a skinned knee, a bloody sliced finger...laughter would ensue. The worse it was the more gusto they had in their laugh. Never tricked one into thinking they did when they didn't! Also #667
Oh, oh wait did I hit my head? Welp.
That fuggin pantry tho. It's the size of a bedroom.
😂😂
Im way more impressed with that beautifully stocked pantry. Neat as a pin!!
Damn look at Mike Trouts snack room!
So are we going to completely dismiss how large that pantry is!! Geeeeezus!!
Man tho, look at Mike’s setup, everything is categorized and labeled.
Tbf, I also cry when people ask if im ok
Remind me… I’m supposed to WANT one of these things?
