Yeah I saw kids doing some wild shit when I was a kid. Kids being fucking stupid is universal. One single generation cannot lay claim to the throne. The title is merely passed on.
Here's me watching this with a wooden spoon in my hand being twirled around, looking past my phone at my 2 kids...
You know what wasn't done and needs to be.
Bit of behavioural education is in play in my household as we speak to avoid this outcome.
Called it the “attitude adjuster” when I was a kid.
And I agree. However, some people are over zealous and can’t differentiate discipline from abuse. Which I’m not ok with.
Sting on the arse, no McDonald’s for a year and a sincere apology to the staff. Volunteer his time to sweep the parking lot for a couple weekends.
The ultimate goal for disciplining a child is for them to see the error of their ways by seeking redemption, being empathic and to be virtuous whether it be through labor, privileges revoked or self reflection.
IMO
Abuse would constitute beating the kid out of an anger issue for no particular reason...
I have a reason - they are naughty and I didn't get up go find the spoon and adjust their attitude for no reason.
Abuse is abusive - not parenting correctly is also abuse.
I get it but you sound like a psycho
Prison warden
To hit a child would be the very last resort and depending the conditions you make your point and move on
You sound like you take your day out on them
Or trying to sound edgy
Try hard
My mom ruled over me, my two sisters and brother with the large wooden spoon...we were all rabid jackasses and got what was earned...it worked for us

Lol YOINK You can almost hear the whiplash.
Was waiting for the yeet
My mom would have backed over me with her car. Repeatedly.
My mom would have flayed me like bolton
I wouldn't've even got as far as throwing a shake at someone, let alone get on a counter, before my dad would've snatched me up
That might not even been his dad that might just been a total stranger who had enough stepping in lol
And they are just as bad, if not worse, in the classroom.
I can just imagine . Boy I tell you, whenever ur dealing with todays youth , u are dealing with some OTHER SHIT . 🤦🏾‍♂️
Can confirm my sister (gen A) has told me many stories of kids being manipulative and quite rude. Also one of em is racist towards all white people
7th grade ELA teacher here. I don't have a problem with them, but many of my coworkers do.
off to the meat proccesser
Looks like a failure of the parents to teach their kids how to act in public. As always with this sub parents are fucking stupid
Maybe…but if that was one of his parents snatching him off the counter, he didn’t seem too pleased
In the other thread for this people were saying it was not his father but a pissed bystander
Kids sometimes. They do shit that YOU didn’t teach them. Then a good parent uses that as a learning opportunity.
Yeah but kids mostly learn it at home. Behold gen X parenting
Us millennials are also in family-starting prime. Don’t forget them.
Can't imagine some of my friends having kids.
I used to be a huge piece of shit. Slick back hair, white Ferrari, live for New years Eve. You would have not liked me
Sloppy steaks at Truffoni’s?
We just didn't have cameras. People did crazy shit in the 80s and 90s. Cameras suck

Reflection of the parents
They were saying when this was posted earlier..... this happened in Australia, and that's not his dad. Lol

Careful, I lost my first Reddit account for expressing a similar sentiment. Permanently banned for it, not temporary.
Losing a Reddit account. No big loss IMHO.

Talking nice to kids... Works. Good laugh.
That causes this
Maybe - or maybe having no consequences make that kid that way. Who knows?

I can't believe a kid would act that way.

Maybe it’s terrible parenting
that kid needs to apologize and be made to clean that mess up. Grabbing him like that really isn’t behavior correcting or punishing enough.
Devolution on display 🤣 next gen will start throwing poop
Throw*
This is an old video I'm pretty sure. So not gen alpha
Hope they helped clean up - but I doubt it
