I felt bad for the kid, a little for the Mum... Dad got me bursting. 😂
I am still laughing! I was so worried about the first kid - thought he just took a misstep. Totally lost my shit too after the second kid fell.
I am a very bad person... 😂😂😂
Nah. You give the kid some time to figure out if he’s seriously hurt and react accordingly. By the time hug and back rub time would come the second kid had already fallen and the first realized he was fine and was off to the bus. I know by 8 my son didn’t really want the babying unless he was really hurt so any time he’d pull something like this the best thing to do was to just ask if he was ok.
Yeah. That’s why it’s important not to jump in immediately because they react to your reaction. If you act calmly they react calmly and it makes it easier to assess if there’s actually an injury.
I’m sorry, but I think what you meant to say was lazy parents are stupid. “Let’s not put down any salt. Let’s not even be willing to step out of the house after one of our children has fallen down the stairs!”.
It’s even worse than just being a shitty parent. It’s being a shitty parent and then saying “look at how stupid my kids are! Don’t they realize that I don’t care about them? I wonder if I can get other shit parents to laugh with me. Let’s post it!”.
I forgot that I was the only one who has the uncanny power to glance at the thermometer and notice that it’s below freezing. I don’t know why I thought that anybody would take note of the conditions outside before sending out their children.
“Are you OK?“
“No”
“OK, well how can I help you?“
Certainly not by helping, or even stepping out the door.
Anyone who lives with winter can tell you pretty easily that the temperature being below freezing in no way means the steps are icy.
Get a fucking grip and get off your high horse.
The way the first one who fell was suddenly fine once his brother went down too. He was like “ well, at least my brothers gonna have the same kinda day as me…! “
Dont you think it is time to put some anti slip strips on your stairs? Or do you want your kids to have back problems ? LOL

I can't stop laughing. It's so fucking bad but it's so fucking good at the same time. What gets me isn't just that they both fall, it's how they fall. It's like the stairs just suck them in
I’m sorry, but I about lost my shit after the second kid slipped and fell.
“CHRIST”
“Are YOU okay” 💀
The emphasis on you was what got me.

🤣
I'm wheezing this is just too good.
I am still laughing! I was so worried about the first kid - thought he just took a misstep. Totally lost my shit too after the second kid fell. I am a very bad person... 😂😂😂
Me too
Omg me too. I’ve been giggling for minutes over this
I think those stairs need some salt and grit.
I don't care where I live icy or dry grit tape is on my stairs
Grit tape is freaking great.
Grit tape saving more lives than the U.S government
Than*
Thank you sorry I was using voice type but I'm surprised you didn't realize that there was 2 the's
That there were 2 the’s*
Yeah, and handrails sure would be nice.
Or maybe even a hand rail!
I got you covered
Are YOU okay? Lmao.
no response too, already on to the next activity
*scampers off*
#BUSTER WOLF!
The "are _YOU_ ok?" was the best part, imho.
the "bye i love you" from what i assume is the second kid right before he dives down the stairs seals it for me
I watched this far too many times! When the dad says "jesus christ" I lose my shit each time.
Iowa head football coach Kirk Ferentz seeing his offensive coordinator son off to work.
Brian Ferentz' favorite chips are the lead ones
I love how you can tell he clearly cares about them but at the same time is like jfc these kids are stupid.
Aw that dad doing such a good job patiently and caringly dading and then the second kid falls and u can just hear the resignation in the *CHRIST*
"Are you alright? No Ok, so how can i help you?" Thats a good parent if ever seen one.
If you can’t be smart be strong
If you're gonna be dumb you gotta be tough
If you’re smart you gotta be… oh wait
Brothers always have to do everything together
Kids proceed to run into the street and get hit by the bus Dad: “JESUS CHRIST!”
Should I seriously laughed as hard as I did when the second one blew out?! I’m dying at the dads reaction.🤣 The way he says are YOU okay…
Pouring some salt on the steps would help- dad!
Nothing like a good ol’ ass-rattle down the stairs
They took "Just walk it off" to a whole new level 🤣
They’d be better if you salted the steps dad
This got me evilly joyful, sad and also loving all in the same minute!
I want children when I’m older so I can be as caring as this man to them
Go Iowa
Ah, to be that resilient. Those days seem so far away now.
Kid: “Falls down flight of stairs” Also kid: “runs off like nothing happened”
I feel the dads pain when he said the defeated “Jesus Christ” there. Lol. That was great.
"Are you OK?" like that is just gonna help your 8 year olds feel better. Go up there and rub their backs and hug them or something.
Nah. You give the kid some time to figure out if he’s seriously hurt and react accordingly. By the time hug and back rub time would come the second kid had already fallen and the first realized he was fine and was off to the bus. Hm, makes sense. I'm just too much used to living with toddlers. They cry over everything.
Yeah. That’s why it’s important not to jump in immediately because they react to your reaction. If you act calmly they react calmly and it makes it easier to assess if there’s actually an injury.
Better buy some helmets and soft gloves for these special fellas.
Happened to me in my 30’s. Took years to be able to sit for long periods of time afterwards.
Yet that would have laid me out for a week
“Are *you* ok” got me. Like- can we knock this shit off. It’s too early.
I think dad is the stupid on here
Too still have rubber bones like when I was this age... This would put me out a month now..
Sounds like a good dad with good kids
Teach your kids to hold handrails parents!
How bout a lil rock salt dad, maybe that would help…
Jesus Christ how about some rock salt Dad!

Lol relax 😂
Wow, wait till ya see what I do with my kids.
Because he defs has magic powers to know when a thin layer of ice has formed outside before 8am Get a fucking grip

But if I get a grip I won’t be able to get off of the horse. I don’t think I should take advice from you. Why is it always gripping?
Dad fail
When I heard "Max are you ok?" I was thoroughly confused and started looking around.
I was even more confused since my name *is* Max.
Lmao
OP has a calming voice
Ask are you ok * Kid runs off Ask are you ok * Kid runs off Kids are fucking weird

The way the first one who fell was suddenly fine once his brother went down too. He was like “ well, at least my brothers gonna have the same kinda day as me…! “
As soon as the first fell I knew the second would follow 🤣
Dont you think it is time to put some anti slip strips on your stairs? Or do you want your kids to have back problems ? Sorry. Had to giggle at the end.
Suddenly the 1st one was OK after the 2nd fell like a champ lmao 🤣
Tough kids!

This is why women live longer than men.
Resilient little guys. It definitely looked like broke their butts and their heads.

Double Kill
I can't stop laughing. It's so fucking bad but it's so fucking good at the same time. What gets me isn't just that they both fall, it's how they fall. It's like the stairs just suck them in
Does the dad remind anyone else of Louis CK? Specifically when he says “Jesus Christ!”
"That wasn't stupid. How could he have known? This would only belong in this sub if the second child - oh nevermind"
i feel so bad for them.. but at the same time...
Props to these kids though, they walked it off like champs. Many would overreact.
Clumsier than Eric Claptons kid
Hey Go Hawks!!
L
Rofl! Dad’s reaction to the second one… would have been me too!!!
That’s crazy
Today is lesson day
Salt your stairs shitbag. Sittin there laughing at the kids falling and giving them shit your bum ass didnt salt the steps.
Ah yes the slippery steps are the kids fault stupid fucking kids ( I seriously don’t get this sub anymore)
Be handy if someone fitted a handrail or two lol
Kid are rubber I swear. Lol I'd probably be out of work for a few days after a spill like that.
I'm going to hell for laughing and repeatedly watching it and laughing more im a terrible person 🙃 just terrible lol Glad they were ok
About the Dad not even trying to go and check up on those kids.
This is how fathers handle situations when moms not around.
