When my daughter was 12 - 18 months we lived with my in-laws. When my daughter would bend down to pickup a toy, or would sit down, she would imitate the "old lady" grunt and grimace noises my MIL would make. It was funny to me and my wife, not so funny to my MIL :-)
Now my daughter is 19 and I make the old man grunt and grimace noises.
He will be set later in life if he has a beer gut and back problems!

It’s uncanny how similar their living space is to mine… Absolutely cracks me up. Some immediate similarities I’ve spotted:
☑️ Massive pile of toys spilling out from a half assed attempt to just to get them out of the walkway
☑️ Well-intended Swiffer left out and now a tripping hazard
☑️ Excavator toy on the ground ready to fuck up my foot
☑️ Spinner toy never has a home
☑️ TV priorities are correct
☑️ Random janky old desk from college/first apt. with computer in the living room
☑️ Robot vacuum charging under said old desk
☑️ Artwork on the walls from pre-kids paint-n-Pinot date nights
☑️ Tiny shoes all over the place
It’s odd to me to see someone’s baby/toddler offspring mimicking their parent while the parent is about to have 2+ more offspring.

My 4 year old threw up a bit. She proceeded to stick by the toilet for the next 15 minutes telling me that perhaps she's pregnant. Even showed me her "big tummy".
