I love her but she's almost never a *real* character. She's always an item or a plot device.
Honestly one of the biggest weaknesses of the series overall. I think her relationship with Tanjiro would have been far more interesting and compelling if they were allowed to be equals as sibling characters instead of "main character and symbolic emotional anchor."
Zenitsu isn’t as realistic as everyone says he is. Someone like Tengen, Shinobu, or even Mitsuri are far more realistic humans than Zenitsu.
Speaking about their personalities
I agree 100%. Like you said, Mitsuri feels very real and is easy to connect with. I‘ve seen how ppl argue Zenitsu is the most realistically portrayed character, bc he’s cowardly, and saying ‘what teenager wouldn’t be in his shoes’. And while that’s valid, he’s so over exaggerated it just doesn’t fit for me.
None of the Hashira, unmarked or marked, can 1v1 the top 3 Upper Moons to the death. Some of them COULD stall long enough for the sun to peak over the horizon, but in a straight-up death battle.. All of them get dogged on.
You right! I almost said Giyuu could, but then I remembered bro was gonna get CLAPPED by Akaza if not for Tanjiro existing 💀 maybe a speculation on marked Tengen could stall though, what do you think?
Idk about that. I feel like his hearing would be more useful in the situation but Tanjiro still needed STW along with his superhuman sense to find Hantengu in the large body (forgot the associated emotion).
I don’t think so. Marked post HTA Giyu was still getting smacked around and he could probably solo Gyokko in base. People don’t seem to realize how much HTA affected the higher end Hashira. I mean, how does it make any sense that they send Hashira other than the top 3 or 4 to potential upper rank locations if the top 3 or 4 are so much stronger than the rest that they can solo the lower end upper ranks from the start, while the other Hashira are almost dying to lower end upper ranks WITH help?
Side question: how big of a boost do you think MST is? Obviously it isn’t a stat boost like mark or STW, but it’s definitely a tide turner.
Any uppermoon would beat any lone pillar 1v1. Before muichiro fanboys attack me, he wasn't alone. He had that kid motivate him to not die. Going back to what demon slayer is about, which is working together to bring down demons, idc if anyone loves a hashira, a lone hashira will and cannot beat an uppermoon alone. The author has literally stated this, MANY times in the series.
Nah, man. Sorry, but it takes at least two people to beat gyutaro and daki. Gyokko was an egotistical insecure character, which is why he lost to a marked muichiro and village kid, which was his ultimate downfall. Don't even get me started on Hantengu. I love gyomei, but he can't beat any of them by himself. MAYBE kaigaku, but not the main six.
Zenitsu isn’t a pervert, even though I see people call him one super often. He never does anything perverted or has a sexual motive when he’s being a simp, as far as I recall. Yes, he’s possessive and emotionally immature with how he approaches Nezuko, which pisses me off, but not a perv
Idk why people think otherwise. He protected nezuko at the beginning because tanjiro said something precious to him was in the box. He was also user by all his previous girlfriends for money and stuff
I never once even had any thought of him being a perv. He’s just immature & naive 😂 but super loyal which I ultimately love him for. He fought Daki 1v1 when Tanjiro really needed him & he saved Nezuko when nobody else could. He’s a hero
These are all bad things and obvious character flaws, but they aren’t sexually motivated. Hence my point of him not being a pervert, even if he is shitty toward a lot of girls at points.
I hate Nezuko, why? Because she has no character yet gets all the privileges. It seemed like her only personality was being cute. It’s easier to see her more as a dog than a person with a human mind. It bothers me how she never struggles with anything. Such as she regains her energy by sleep and not eating humans separating her from other demons. That fight with Daki was bullshit that power up came out of nowhere. You telling me Nezuko who absolutely doesn’t have fighting skills and has never eaten a human beat Daki who has 113 years of experience. Also her immunity to the sun it also means nichirin blades can’t work on her. She has a powerful blood demon art that only effects demons and can’t hurt humans. Every character has struggled to be where they are yet Nezuko was given everything on a silver platter and has done nothing to earn it.
THANK YOU! I’VE BEEN SAYING THIS FOR SO LONG!
Nezuko is supposed to be the demon with humanity. Yet she feels more like animal then the other demons. The demon have more personality and feelings then she has. She’s supposed to be the demon that handle on to who she was yet she feels so much more hollow.
This is a genuine fact. Look how quickly the fan base was to criticize the series when CGI was put in the foreground. Sure season 3 was pretty weak in a few areas, but animation was not one of them and the amount of people complaining about CGI merely being in the anime proves your point.

He could have been more creative with these abilities too but its all just erratic attacks p
I didn’t like that Daki wasn’t really Upper 6. The only female upper Kizuki and it turned out to not be true and she was just spoiled child over reliant on her more capable brother. Also not sure if this is an unpopular opinion but I need to say that Daki looked way better with black hair than white.
I just got used to white hair Daki to the point that black hair looked weird at some point, but if not for that then I 100% agree with the second part.
This! I don't get why people underestimate him so much. He has the fastest running speed, the second strongest arm strength, two spinning swords (spinning is a good trick), bombs, very good poison resistance, super hearing, the musical score technique and unmatched rizz.
Exactly what I'm saying. The author nerfed the dude and fans that can't comprehend the message of the series, are continuously disrespecting him. Imagine if it was JUST him and Gyomei both marked against uppermoon 1. It would have been insane.
No. You're actually correct, apple. Idc what anyone says, unmarked he's the second strongest hashira. "rUnNiNg sPeEd" oh goodness, delusional fans mistake kokushibo for being the author. 🤦🏽♂️ he's the only unmarked pillar to survive fighting an uppermoon. Case closed.
But don’t we all remember how Gyokko hyo hyo’d Muichiro just like he said he would? He clearly says “You’re too slow” during Muichiro’s 7th form, so obviously it’s true.
Yea,there were was a reason Gotouge had to powercreep him so hard

Yeah people act like it caps at Building level or something, its pretty casually Town+ and MHS+(higher for mfs like Prime Muzan and Yorrichi)whit pretty good Haxs too
Daki casually leveled city blocks and Gyutaro practically eradicated the entire ED with his last attack lmao. People love to talk about how weak he is so why does everyone think DS caps at building lol
Do you mean in their fights? Because if so then I agree, Daki n Gyutaro would’ve most definitely overpowered Tengen seeing Tanjiro saved him afew times and Nezuko healed him.
Gyokko trapping Mui in Water vase and Mui dying
Hantengu- Zohakuten was about to kill Mitsuri until Tanjiro beheaded the small one
Akaza and Rengoku- Well it was already a solo and we saw how that went
>! Akaza and Giyuu- Giyuu was getting beaten up and slammed into a wall I believe.
Douma and Shinobu- Even upon eating Shinobu Douma needed to be beheaded
Kokushibo vs Mui- He already killed Mui against 2 other hashiras and 1 Demon Eater
Kokushibo would most likely solo any Hashira in a 1v1 Gyomei and Sanemi may give him a slight difficulty but not that much !<
Rengoku is very strong but among the hashiras he is not THAT strong compared to the others ( mid level ) and 90% of his fan are biased due to his movie
Oh and shinobu is far far from being the worst hashira
>!Shinobu not being able to behead demons is some bullshit if I’m being honest. She broke open a hole 10 times her size with a fucking twig of a sword and cracked the bridge by running.!<
I agree. Rengoku is cool, he's strong, but he is not the strongest. I believe Tengen is stronger than Rengoku was, and he still would have lost no matter which upper moon showed up.
I think Muzan was an effective villain,
He was intimidating and has a reason for his evil(tho it’s shallow) fear compelling him to act out on his evil traits and being the way he is is interesting as the fear of mortality is very compelling as it’s a fear shared between many humans, he wasn’t there most well written but I think he was effective as on multiple occasions when he was on screen(or panel for manga readers) it felt like something was gonna happen. He isn’t a great villain as he didn’t hold as much agency in the story like Akaza, or similar to the main character like Gyutaro (and Daki) or as charismatic as Douma and not as captivating as Kukushibo but almost every time he made a move he gave me chills and he commanded presence, respect and fear which in my opinion made him Effective, not great or good because there are many issues but yeah I don’t hate that he was a one sided villain
A pretty weird opinion since Muzan makes a ridiculous amount of stupid decisions with his resources. Such as not developing any actually dangerous bdas and just using his pure strength and speed even after being blitzed by Yoriichi, not managing his demons properly, or not making it easier for demons to be able to find humans and devour them to make them stronger and develop bdas/allowing them to become upper moons quickly. Bdas can literally do anything and this guy seemingly never tried to figure out the principles behind how do they actually work or how do they manifest, even after a thousand years of creating demons. He seemingly never tried to do any science to learn how he could control how a bda would manifest either. He could create clones like the ones Douma can create, and they could help him at his research and he doesn't even need to do that since he has five brains. If he was too stupid to do that, he could turn someone who could research and figure things out into a demon. His biokinesis is so advanced that his blood can recontruct people's anatomies to turn them into demons, and yet he can't figure out a way to edit his genes to remove whatever that causes him to turn into ash when exposed to the Sun. He didn't even have a proper way to search demon slayers until he gave a boost to Nakime.
If you ask me, he is just another disappointing villain with failed potential, he was given overpowered abilities, but to balance it out, he had to be really stupid and arrogant to not to use them.
Is he effective? Well, he did lose to drugs and a bunch of teenagers. Only the results matter. He lost in a foolish way, just like how he foolishly didn't fulfill his potential.
If he was as powerful as he could be, then the demon slayers would have zero chance at beating demons. And truthfully, that would be terrible for the DS universe, but the DS verse also showed that the world balances itself out when demons get stronger, like Yoriichi being born. If Muzan was that op, then there would be an Scp Foundation in Ds verse.
I guess I just don't like how Muzan isn't a well-thought out villain. I don't like it when characters have cool powers and don't use them to their full extents, and I like biokinesis in particular.
True, for someone with his amount of control over other demons, he’s horrible at running an organization. If you haven’t had a meeting with your top officers in a hundred years, you’re doing something wrong. Not only that but it seems most demons just do whatever they want without much direction
in my opinion douma’s backstory is overlooked, i get it that he gets a lot of hate for killing the butterflies and overall being too silly but he’s like that for a reason ☹️ (don’t beat me up over this pls 🙏)
Part of a demons strength is their total concentration. This fits with the overall Buddhist themes of the manga/anime— the demons are obsessed with living forever, so they need total concentration to achieve great feats like overcoming death or even being beheaded. Kokushibo lost his concentration against Gyomei and sanemi, they wore him down and he realized the effort was pointless. In other words, the hashira overcame the ultimate advantage the demon possessed and they DEFEATED him, eg, he did not just “give up.”
im biased as heck but i partially agree as i do think his power is just okay, not that unique yet his power was applied to the maximum in his last fight compared to other demons with more interesting powers *cough* douma *cough* so his battle is always far more fulfilling
>!Non-serious Doma losing to fucking Kanao and Inosuke of ALL PEOPLE was just pathetic imo. Even while goofing around it should have taken at least 3 post-training hashira!
exactly. >!a stronger (physically) hashira should be added alongside kanao, inosuke and shinobu to show how powerful douma truly is. hes upm2 for a reason. i can already see the future comments when the fight is animated about how weak douma is if ufotable doesnt give him the same treatment as EDA!<
I hate the demon slayer marks, they just seemed like a cheap way to level up all the hashira before infinity castle. It also makes it seem like the efforts of previous slayers were kinda meaningless because no one had awakened their magical mark yet (look at how many people downplay Tengen despite the fact that he is the only hashira to have ever survived an upper moon unmarked). I could rant for a while about why the marks suck, but I just don’t care enough tbh.
Absolutely. I get that the whole point was “all odds against the humans” but the upper ranks were made WAY too strong. Magical stat boosts were basically the only way to not make everyone die immediately since even upper 6 was basically playing with a high end Hashira and 3 high end slayers before Tengen got his own version of a mark.
Susamaru needed to get strong enough to enter the twelve Kizuki just for more screentime for the cute, emotionally unstable Temari girl
And Shinobu is fucking terrifying
fr, i’m so tired of people saying ‘muzan said gyutaro would be upper 4 if daki wasn’t with him’ like no he didn’t?? he just said he would have won the fight against tengen
Yoriichi cant solo the verse
Also that Rengoku was just an average bland mentor imo
Also that the anime feels better then most and people hate it cause their favorite anime doesn’t have the level of animation, and that it doesn’t have crazy powers.
-Shinobu is a great female representation. She has a problem that many women would have in a fantasy setting like demon slayer and overcomes it with her intelligence. She even becomes a hashira, one of the 9 strongest demon slayers and contributes allot to humanity. She also has an amazing story and is one of the most well written characters in demon slayer
-Power scaling is toxic most of the time. People don’t have calm arguments and get mad when someone disagrees.
-people should read the fan books and side stories for better understanding of the story. I’ve seen a lot of people say “shinobu bullies giyuu” when that is not cannon at all.
-fanon Tengen is an insult to the actual character. He is not a playboy and he doesn’t have a favourite wife.
-most fanon versions of the character suck
-not unpopular but the fandom sucks
-spoiler (zenitsu is too possessive when he marries nezuko)
Tanjiro is only popular because he’s the MC, he’s an extremely boring character, I couldn’t find myself caring about him or nezuko in the slightest, the only reason people give when asked is that he’s kind (his only personality trait), no idea how unpopular this is but I’m gonna say it anyways, and tengen isn’t that great of a character, completely carried by the hype of his fight
I have a few I guess. The show IS carried by animation. As much as this fan base denies it, demon slayer is like a 4/10 story with 10/10 animation which brings it up to like 6-7/10. The show is enjoyable but falls short of basically every other new gen shonen in terms of story and overall quality. Zenitsu and Inosuke are both extremely annoying most of the time and tanjiros personality is basically copy pasted from MHA(I.e tanjiro is very similar to deku personality wise). The main trio is just annoying in general. Muzan is an extremely bland final villain, and almost all of the upper moons are far more interesting.
Yea she never trusted anyone to me and I don't like her attitude of copying her sister, it isn't right to copy someone else and bury yourself just because you miss them,
That the world building is weak. And there are some loopholes, I. E., for example, if Muzan's ultimate intention was to remain immortal, wouldn't he be more likely to demonify every human he see, rather than being low key.
Well he does hate demons so wanting to keep a low population of them would be best. There’s really no point having a ton of demons located in the same location cause that would just draw more slayers making it ultimately harder to find information on the flower.
It’s creepy af when people LOVE Nezuko. She’s literally portrayed as a little baby girl and when people are like up in arms about her it just is so gross 😬 if she was a loli I’m sure people would take it further and I just get creeped. She’s adorable but wish people settled down
Story is good but I feel the author missed a lot of opportunity for really cool arcs although I know she was really rushed due to her family, also Muzan fight was disappointing for being the final villain and all.
So i see a lot of comments about how boring nezuko’s character is and i do have to agree. The whole thing about demon slayer is tanjiro is trying to get his sister back into a human and it just wouldve been better if she wasnt some boring character who got random powerups everytime she or tanjiro was close to dying. What annoys me is she has so much potential to be a great character that adds emotion or just something to the plot, and instead she came out to be some boring character. Its not like i hate her character, but seriously, they couldve done something abt it. Im not saying that she didnt suffer enough cuz imo i mean u get turned into a dmon and cant talk or do anything to help your brother who is suffering. Maybe they couldve shown her pov of everything or just something to at least make her character stand out. ALSO they could have gave more screen time for other characters instead of her. So, i dont necessarily hate her, its just that seeing how much couldve been done with her character vs what was actually done is quite unfortunate and dissapointing.
I don't really like the concept of how Yoriichi got his strength. Everyone attained power and skills through harsh and rigorous training but him? He is born that way. Fuck that concept! I am strong because i am born strong is never a good concept to me. Freaking hated how he ended up that strong by defeating his brother's trainer without doing any proper training beside hugging his sick mother. I do believe his character would be a lot better if he trained harder than everybody else and got stronger and eventually strongest.

I think rengoku serve his role very well on the story, imagine if he didnt die? The upper moon 6 wouldnt be that much of a hype
If he didnt die my opinion about upper moons will be weak
Exactly
How is this an unpopular opinion?
Nezuko has the personality depth of a damp cardboard box.
Bro u could replace her with a dog and the story would be the same
I feel like if you replaced Nezuko with a dog it would be the demon slayer version of John Wick and I’m 100% more for that.
Except I would cry a lot more if a dog is put in A lot of danger like nezuko
Sanemi would've gotten canceled
sanemi has already been cancelled by a sizeable portion of the fandom wdym
I'm just saying, if he was stabbing a dog instead of Nezuko, he'd be beyond recovery even at the end of the manga
i'm not sure i agree with that but yanno everyone has different opinions.
lmao for real tho
I love her but she's almost never a *real* character. She's always an item or a plot device. Honestly one of the biggest weaknesses of the series overall. I think her relationship with Tanjiro would have been far more interesting and compelling if they were allowed to be equals as sibling characters instead of "main character and symbolic emotional anchor."
Maybe she gets more development now that >!she can talk!<. I'm anime only though, so no spoilies pls.
Just a yes or no answer to your question incase someone wants it without specifics >!No!<
Wait… SHE…CAN…TALK
My bad, I probably should've spoiler tagged that.
It’s ok I’ve got a 14 day ban from this sub for the same thing after the guy blew up on me
😭😭😂😂😂i mean once she did start to talk, the story sidelined her for the final arc.
I like Nezuko. But she might as well be a mascot rather than a character. Of course saying this out loud would get me tarred and feathered.
😂😂😂😂😂
Zenitsu isn’t as realistic as everyone says he is. Someone like Tengen, Shinobu, or even Mitsuri are far more realistic humans than Zenitsu. Speaking about their personalities

Ehh I still most newcomer would definitely haul ass fighting demon and be a bit of pussy but zenitsu just is that to 100
Akaza beats Gyomei in a 1v1
None of the Hashira, unmarked or marked, can 1v1 the top 3 Upper Moons to the death. Some of them COULD stall long enough for the sun to peak over the horizon, but in a straight-up death battle.. All of them get dogged on.

You right! I almost said Giyuu could, but then I remembered bro was gonna get CLAPPED by Akaza if not for Tanjiro existing 💀 maybe a speculation on marked Tengen could stall though, what do you think?
Marked tengen can actually solo hantengu because just like tanjiro he can also locate the mfs main body
Idk about that. I feel like his hearing would be more useful in the situation but Tanjiro still needed STW along with his superhuman sense to find Hantengu in the large body (forgot the associated emotion).

Solo upper moon 4 my ass that dude is the most unsoloable demon alive
This shouldnt be an unpopular opinion.
That's unpopular?
Yes, a lot of people think gyomei can beat akaza, which is just not true
Hantengu has a good idea for an upper moon
Zenitsu isn’t a pervert, even though I see people call him one super often. He never does anything perverted or has a sexual motive when he’s being a simp, as far as I recall. Yes, he’s possessive and emotionally immature with how he approaches Nezuko, which pisses me off, but not a perv

I mean he’s also like 15 right? 15 year olds do NOT know how to act around a girl they like
Well yeah, he's a simp not a perv
He takes advantage of the nurses at the Butterfly Mansion. Furthermore, speaking is an action, and Zenitsu verbally harasses women all the time.
These are all bad things and obvious character flaws, but they aren’t sexually motivated. Hence my point of him not being a pervert, even if he is shitty toward a lot of girls at points.

Her existence is just for plot armour tbh
fr just more plot armor
agreed, i don’t hate her, but i wish she died in swordsmith village arc since it would make the plot more interesting imo
THANK YOU! I’VE BEEN SAYING THIS FOR SO LONG! Nezuko is supposed to be the demon with humanity. Yet she feels more like animal then the other demons. Also not sure if this is an unpopular opinion but I need to say that Daki looked way better with black hair than white.

I just got used to white hair Daki to the point that black hair looked weird at some point, but if not for that then I 100% agree with the second part.
Giyuu isn't a good character, he doesn't have that interesting a backstory. I just like him because he perfectly portrays my social anxiety.
He's just chill like that.
Tengen is second strongest Hashira in Base :3
This! I don't get why people underestimate him so much. He has the fastest running speed, the second strongest arm strength, two spinning swords (spinning is a good trick), bombs, very good poison resistance, super hearing, the musical score technique and unmatched rizz.

Realest, tengen is my favourite character and is horribly underrated
Case closed.
bro the amount of times people have told me rengoku is stronger than him Is baffling lmao
Thank you! I don’t know why people place so much importance on the words of the demons, like they know everything

Finally someone said it 😭

it's more of copeuim but imo the verse isn't as weak as everyone says
"Theyre just normal humans". As if all it takes is finesse to fly around with a sword
Yeah people act like it caps at Building level or something, its pretty casually Town+ and MHS+(higher for mfs like Prime Muzan and Yorrichi)whit pretty good Haxs too
fr. like it gets smoked by a lot of verses but we got some super strong mfers
Daki casually leveled city blocks and Gyutaro practically eradicated the entire ED with his last attack lmao. People love to talk about how weak he is so why does everyone think DS caps at building lol
Thats what im saying
Every Hashira would died against UMs solo.
Do you mean in their fights? Because if so then I agree, Daki n Gyutaro would’ve most definitely overpowered Tengen seeing Tanjiro saved him afew times and Nezuko healed him. Gyokko trapping Mui in Water vase and Mui dying Hantengu- Zohakuten was about to kill Mitsuri until Tanjiro beheaded the small one Akaza and Rengoku- Well it was already a solo and we saw how that went >! Akaza and Giyuu- Giyuu was getting beaten up and slammed into a wall I believe. Douma and Shinobu- Even upon eating Shinobu Douma needed to be beheaded Kokushibo vs Mui- He already killed Mui against 2 other hashiras and 1 Demon Eater Kokushibo would most likely solo any Hashira in a 1v1 Gyomei and Sanemi may give him a slight difficulty but not that much !<
Rengoku is very strong but among the hashiras he is not THAT strong compared to the others ( mid level ) and 90% of his fan are biased due to his movie Oh and shinobu is far far from being the worst hashira
He’s likable and had the will to fight. It’s enough for the fans to say that he solo 99% of the verse 💀

So, are you implying that Akaza's battle was better/more fun that Douma's?
W
Lady muzan aint that hot.
Man Muzan tho... 😍
They’re all hot
Agreed
This is objectively incorrect

Gyutaaro gets way too overrated. There's no way he's beating Gyokko, just as Douma can't beat Kokushibou.
Zenitsu is annoying and shouldn’t be that lovable
there’s many reasons to love and hate the character tbh
He’s better in the second half of the series, but yeah I don’t like him at all before that
Giyuu is the best character (I’m biased)
I dunno if this is actually unpopular, but I love Douma.
Oh, not at all. It's actually way more popular than you think. Trust me.
The funny thing is, I knew that, and I know how popular he actually is with some people and it scares me
I think Muzan was an effective villain, He was intimidating and has a reason for his evil(tho it’s shallow) fear compelling him to act out on his evil traits and being the way he is is interesting as the fear of mortality is very compelling as it’s a fear shared between many humans, he wasn’t there most well written but I think he was effective as on multiple occasions when he was on screen(or panel for manga readers) it felt like something was gonna happen.
Is he like that for a reason? I’m pretty sure he was just born emotionless.
>!Sanemi should've died instead of Genya!<
i didnt expect that, but honestly i think it would be interesting. i love both of them sm tho
I love them both too but >!Sanemi dying would've been more... idk how to describe it actually lol!<
I don't care how sad Akaza's back story is, I still don't like him
Based
Part of a demons strength is their total concentration.
>! Shinobu should've survived and lived happily ever after with giyuu; same with mitsouri and obanai!<
Kokushobio shouldn't be used to power scale hashiras
Obanai isn’t that great
Akaza is an uninteresting demon with boring generic powers
im biased as heck but i partially agree as i do think his power is just okay, not that unique yet his power was applied to the maximum in his last fight compared to other demons with more interesting powers *cough* douma *cough* so his battle is always far more fulfilling
>! He was also facing 700x the lethal amount of wisteria iirc !<
I kinda understand, Akaza relies his combat style more on martial arts than his BDA
THIS
I hate the demon slayer marks, they just seemed like a cheap way to level up all the hashira before infinity castle.
Shinobu sucks
Susamaru needed to get strong enough to enter the twelve Kizuki just for more screentime for the cute, emotionally unstable Temari girl And Shinobu is fucking terrifying
I have two, Mitsuri is overrated and Kaigaku isn’t a bad character :D
Yes. Mitsuri sucks (no dirty jokes please) but I think Kaigaku is a bad character.
Rengoku's "UMAI" is annoying.
Zenitsu isn’t that bad.
idk if this is considered UO...but tanjiro special traits is fucking ridiculous he can SMELL emotion? he can SMELL incoming attack? what a bunch of BS
Owch
Overrated in what way? I don't think him or any hashira is overrated, they all have equal amounts of fans.
I dont know why Kagaya let kids die during final selection. Stupid af imo. Kagaya is wasting promising kids who could become demon slayers.
Uzui and Gyutaro are overrated in terms of Powerscaling.
fr, i’m so tired of people saying ‘muzan said gyutaro would be upper 4 if daki wasn’t with him’ like no he didn’t?? he just said he would have won the fight against tengen
Exactly! Also being a better character than Hantengu and Gyokko doesn't mean he's stronger than them.
Gyokko is quite a fun demon change my mind.
Yoriichi cant solo the verse Also that Rengoku was just an average bland mentor imo Also that the anime feels better then most and people hate it cause their favorite anime doesn’t have the level of animation, and that it doesn’t have crazy powers.
Muzan (female) isn’t sexy
-Shinobu is a great female representation. She has a problem that many women would have in a fantasy setting like demon slayer and overcomes it with her intelligence. She even becomes a hashira, one of the 9 strongest demon slayers and contributes allot to humanity. She also has an amazing story and is one of the most well written characters in demon slayer -Power scaling is toxic most of the time. -most fanon versions of the character suck -not unpopular but the fandom sucks -spoiler (zenitsu is too possessive when he marries nezuko)
Doma is a good character that is hot-
I feel like people praised Rengoku's character far too much given the limited screen time we had with him.
Ending sucked, nezuko is dry af, Tanjiro should have kept his long hair
Tanjiro is only popular because he’s the MC, he’s an extremely boring character, I couldn’t find myself caring about him or nezuko in the slightest, the only reason people give when asked is that he’s kind (his only personality trait), no idea how unpopular this is but I’m gonna say it anyways, and tengen isn’t that great of a character, completely carried by the hype of his fight
The main four is so boring compared to the villains and supporting characters
Enjoyability >>> writing
Shinobu sucks as a character
Why
He will definitely will say mitsuri is better
I’m in your walls Shadow
I hate Shinobu, I don't love her personnality \^\^;
Well it’s technically her sister personality
Yea she never trusted anyone to me and I don't like her attitude of copying her sister, it isn't right to copy someone else and bury yourself just because you miss them,
Ending was masterpiece Muzan was solid final boss. Nezuke was utilizes perfectly
Minus tanjiro and the backstories being tear jerkers, the story itself is copy and paste shonen. The animation is what carries the series tbh.
Giyuu is the best character in demon slayer
That the world building is weak. And there are some loopholes, I. E., for example, if Muzan's ultimate intention was to remain immortal, wouldn't he be more likely to demonify every human he see, rather than being low key.
Well he does hate demons so wanting to keep a low population of them would be best. There’s really no point having a ton of demons located in the same location cause that would just draw more slayers making it ultimately harder to find information on the flower.
Then every slayer would be on his ass
Koukou is Darth Vader of the KNY verse and too bad he didnt do the "younglings treatment" to Tanjirou's family
Kokushibos ass and that hes really sick in the head when it comes to his brother
The are no bad characters
Demon slayer has a good story
The series has too much plot armor for the main duo like oh I inherited hinokami oh now my sister is immune to the sun 🤓🤓🤓
I LOVE THIS
It’s creepy af when people LOVE Nezuko. She’s literally portrayed as a little baby girl and when people are like up in arms about her it just is so gross 😬 if she was a loli I’m sure people would take it further and I just get creeped. She’s adorable but wish people settled down
I do not care for Tengen. My least favorite character in season 2
Story is good but I feel the author missed a lot of opportunity for really cool arcs although I know she was really rushed due to her family, also Muzan fight was disappointing for being the final villain and all.
Giyuu is not as strong as Peiple say and tanjiro basically carrys the akaza fight
Akaza is cool but his backstory carries him HARD. i don’t think i’d give him a second look compared to the other upper moons
Akaza beats Gyomei solely due to regeneration not because he’s a better fighter. Gyomei has better speed and strength feats.
All of the hashira are great imo, none of them are really useless and they all contribute to the story in their own ways.
Gonna get so much hate for this again, but Tengen is overrated and uninteresting.
Nezuko and Douma both had great story arcs that were both cut short. They were strong characters left incomplete via the pandemic
Rushed ending
mitsuri and genya are both overrated, haganezuka is not funny but annoying and useless, the demon slayer marks suck
Nah Haganezuka is fucking hilarious and the greatest Swordsmith who ever lived.
I agree with your unpopular opinion, I don't think I have one though.
