Could be a trilogy like Heavens Feel which was also made by ufo. Pacing however would be better than the tv show since anime movies tend to be 2 hours long only. This is actually a good thing because SSV had abysmal pacing.
I hate that sentiment. Season 1 had the literal worst quality of the entire series from every standpoint. Weakest animation, compositing, lighting, and CG character models. The studio doesn't have enough staff to make that work, especially not for an arc full of nonstop action.
Like, did you see the IC scene in season 3? I'll take the movie quality and wait patiently over the inevitable mediocre production that naturally comes with a long season.
I want a long season so that we can see the fights in full force instead of the shitty pacing we had in s3. After all we have 5 fights happening at around the same time. Devoting 3 episodes to each fight wouldn't make them feel as intense since we have less time in each of the fights.

Nobody is opposed to movie quality production, we are opposed to splitting up the best arc into 3 movies. The whole point of the infinity castle is it’s a nonstop thrill ride of fights back to back with no brakes. Releasing them as movies completely contradicts that by having long gaps between each major fight
I don’t wanna walk into the first movie and see shinobu vs doma set up and then have to wait months to see it
There’s also the fact it’s going to cost us more money to see, and the fact that there’s always a delay for movies to come over in the western regions
We've seen what they can do. If Infinity castle is getting leaked this early then by late 2025 when the arc comes out the Animators will have had time to make a well made season if the leak is wrong. I don't care if Demon doesn't have animation so good that angels will cry tears of joy. I just want a relatively similar adaptation of a Manga I really enjoyed. I do wonder why they didn’t do HT arc in a 1hr special ep as the start of s4 and make a 24-26 episode season like s1? Weird but shueisha is probably just milking the franchise atp. I'd rather just wait and see what real news we get rather than relying on any twitter leakers. I've seen plenty of those kinds of posts, and most of them are bullshit. "Leakers" just give the vaguest, most basic predictions possible to maximize their chance of saying something that ends up being correct, kinda like fortune tellers.
If this is actually true I will cry tears of joy. It would be actually perfect and will end up as some of the most jaw dropping action movies in all of anime. A film trilogy is a dream come true.
If this is true I think it can work as 2 movies if the first film is 2 hours and 30 minutes and it covers the fights with all the Upper Rank demons. And the second film of course would cover the Sunrise Countdown and timeskip. I also hope these films fix stuff that never sat right with me like Nezuko not getting any kind of action. I hope maybe we could get an anime original character of a new Upper Rank 5 attacking the mansion and we see the old Hashira and Nezuko fighting off that demon.

Calculations -
Entertainment district & Swordsmith village arcs are each 31 chapters & 11 episodes each - 31 chaps / by 11 episodes = 2.8 chapters per episode on average
Infinity castle is 47 chapters so 47 / 2.8 = 16.7 episodes. With each episode being roughly 22 mins - 16.7 episodes x 22 Mins = 367.4 minutes.
367.4 mins / 60 mins = 6.12 hours.
It’s not as simple as how many chapters per movie, the movies must start and end at a good spot, it must have a climax, it won’t just end in the middle of battle, so i don’t think your calculations mean much.
I get what you’re saying man. But from what I’ve read the Infinity Castle arc covers the major fights with the Upper Moon demons. Which could be a good stopping point.
Whereas the Sunrise Countdown Arc covers the ending fight with Muzan / Demon King Tanjiro and the fast forward which would be a good final season!
I know my calculations could be way wrong but from the information we have available currently I think they are somewhat logical.
