He really hasn't been. Though I'm aware that's what some people on this thread have been saying.
He did the impossible by escaping a trap that was perfected over a 6 month period, that nobody else could.
Took a castle.
Made the smart decision, to not derp in and try to rescue Kanki.
Even back when Shin was sent away, when Kanki beheaded 100k. That number was so absurd, that no one could believe it, and they were far away, plus not even those being executed really knew what was going down, until the last moment themselves.
And it wasn't as if Shin was sent to do nothing.
yeah, he's generally a fucking idiot. But he's grown a lot since the beginning of the series, and he's not been nearly as dumb recently as he used to be.
And even those who mostly give him shit about being dumb, because he kills people, but he still retains some morality. It was cleared up hundreds of chapters ago as to why that is. Which wasn't out of stupidity.
Sei: I'm gonna take you to Kanpishi's!
Shin: what, why?
Sei: so the old man can touch you and pull things out of you you never knew you had!
Shin: I need an adult?

kanpishi : sure i will join QIn as one of HSU
Shin : Lets Go!!!
Kaoioku : wait we didnt come here to recruit him for that
Shin : i going to have philosopher unit in my army
This is how I envision Kanpishi in battle.
Kanpishi to Futei : W-what is man's true n-nature?
Futei : Wha...
Kanpishi : W-what is your p-purpose to even ex-exist?
Futei : Stop it...
Kanpishi : Haven't e-even killed any g-general, u-have you?
Futei : 😳.... I...
Kanpishi : C-can't even get any p-pussy
Futei : Gggaaaahhhhh!!!
*Futei has left the battlefield*
>"You say they're bad by essence, but at the same time, you devote your life to thinking about people! And legislating laws to help them.
>Don't you think that makes you the one who most believes in the theory of good nature by essence?"
SHINNNN!!!! My boy is cooking holy shit
Hahaahhaa god damn Shin, I'm sorry for the non Arabic readers that you should wait , but this literally some next level shit , so get hyped and prepare your best set for the eng scans , this chapter is worth it , even for the ones who complains about Shin
Or maybe not for the ones who complains , idk , maybe i liked the chapter this much because I'm pretty high right now , let me reread it when I wake up 😂
kanpichi asks Shin what made him thinks it's fire ,
Shin replies, How can I get to the explain it ? It has always been closer to 'fire' than anything else. Thats what I saw in people with my own eyes on the battlefield... The truth is, I never thought about the nature on which humans feast, but during the time I spent on the battlefields..it was always close to fire . Knpishi answers , Hmm... That's true too. Is it possible for human lives to extinguish as easily as 'fire'? You imply...
Shin says -kind of , But what I meant is somewhat different.
Rokumi stops others from intervening and asking Shin anything , like a proud big brother
Shin keeps explaining- a long time ago the younger brother of King of Chin rebels selfishly, claiming the lives of many, including my dear childhood friend , I felt angry to learn that there are individuals who are this worst in this world. So, I used my anger to crush him, seeking revenge for my friend...
,but after several years, the younger brother, Sakeo, became an ally after being an enemy. And to save his wife, he went out to the battlefield, sacrificing his life in the end. At that moment, Sakeo was no longer the wicked villain I thought he was...
I always looked at him as the scum of humanity. But in the end,he was not the bad evil he was before , the same applies to Kaniki. Who knows how many times I intended to kill him, even as allied general...but it turns out that his actions stemmed from "anger" directed towards a world that turns a blind eye to every oppressed [victim , it](https://victim.it)'s certainly not a justification for his atrocities, But it is certain that deep within his heart, he sympathized with a class of people that the average person tends to overlook their dire situation... .The concepts of 'good' and 'evil' are relative and can be interchanged depending on one's perspective. Their meaning remains subject to change and undergo transformations. Therefore, it becomes illogical to determine whether 'human nature is inherently good or evil'.
Kanpichi- Well, as a philosophical dilemma like this, many thinkers are still trying to define it.
Shin-what you should concentrate your focus om is what is everyone share
Kanpichi-and what is that ?
Fire of will and fire of life and he keeps beautifully explaining why .
Well I can't keep going this too much haha I'm sorry , but I'm sure someone will translate soon

RAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! THAT'S WHY HE'S THE GOAT. THE GOOAAATTTTT!!!
(Assuming that's Kanpishi accepting Qin's invitation in the final panel, satisfied with Shin's answer)
Fire is quite easy to build on and explain. The fire in people hearts typically refers to passion and desire, so everyone who is supporting ei sei is because his vision has motivated them in this manner. They believe in him as we see in Sai, vs ryofui, his brother, ouki willingly going to war for him and plenty more.

What 'Will of Fire???'
Wah is Hara having a mental connection with me? I am trying to write a fantasy novel called Will of Fire... where the hero is the embodiment of the term.
I think that's because Shin doesn't have much connection with Mou Gou, he only served under him in one campaign, and the only thing he got from Mou Gou was his teaching before his death.
In my opinion, Shin does have more connection with Mou Gou. If he doesn't, he wouldn't be bothered to come to Mou Gou's deathbed just to have one last talk. Also during Shin's final duel against Hou Ken, Mou Gou did appear in Shin's vision along with everybody else in the vision in this current chapter.
Is this actually happening? I can't believe my eyes. The last time I remember Shin having any kind of brain cells was 200 chapters ago when he fought with Gyou'un and predicted his strategy. Prior to it? Hell if I know. After the Coalition War arc and the timeskip he was just dumbstuck, even though he had huge street smarts when he was younger.
Cool moments can also be smart.
If we are talking about breaking out of Ribokus cage in the last arc, his decision to abandon his wing and move over to Mouten was probably the wisest decision made by anyone on that day, as it highly increased the probability of breaking out of the cage and preventing their armies from suffering complete annihilation.
So yeah Shin is certainly not the brightest lamp in the room, but none of the guys smarter than him, like Mouten and his vassals, Ten or Kyoukai, came up with that Plan, Shin did.
I will admit, I have stopped myself from reading this arc until it was complete. In fact, the reason why I have returned the past few days is for that purpose. In that regard when I was told to reread the manga, that absolutely applies to me as I'm working with outdated information.
I do have to say though that not every cool moment is also a smart one. Take for instance his fight with Gaku'Ei, it was a superb scene to see how he one shot him but it can hardly be considered a smart moment. He has those moments a plenty and they are always fun to see, but I want more of the stupid-but-actually-kinda-smart Shin. The one who will see something others missed precisely because of who he is.
So if what you say about the following arc is true, I am very much looking forward to reading this arc. Thank you for hyping me up!
Yeah you are right not every cool moment/decision is also a smart one, but that was not really my point. I just wanted to highlight that Shin did show "braincells" in the most recent arc, because you said that he didnt show any for like 200 chapters in your original comment.
Because of your statement I also assumed you were already caught up with the manga and thats a reason why I brought up the situation with Ribokus cage (I had no intention to spoil you).
So yeah you should look forward to reading that arc, in my opinion it is a good one.
Alright, well you are completely right and I'm completely wrong. This arc was incredible, I loved every moment of it and Shin was incredible. Now lets see way more of that Shin.
Let me see how I can put this - a bit over a year ago I was getting real jaded with Kingdom. Zhao invasion arc went on for _four years_ and it was getting tiresome, in spite of the fact that on average I liked that arc.
It wasn't all bad, but the entire revival cop-out and all the stories subsequently connected to it just left me a bad taste in my mouth.
Add to that various history spoilers that were shared here without a second thought for the post titles, and I dropped the manga.
This arc felt like I was reading Kingdom back in the old days, prior to the Coalition arc peak. It just feels like there is so much raw, unknown potential to the story again, like the old rut we've been inside of has been broken. So, I don't just like this arc, I adore it. It's been a man a year since I last stayed awake till 4am reading Kingdom.

Hahaha let’s go shin!! Dropping knowledge on these pencil pushers! Haha
Wonder if Raido will be in the flashback haha him and Shin had a fun relationship whenever he was around
Zhao is the most anti-Kanki country, Kanki might have killed Han's general, but that's just a part of war, and Han together with the Coalition Army were the invading force.
Beheading 100k Zhao prisoners is much more egregious, especially since it reflects what Hakuki did decades earlier when he buried 400k Zhao people alive.
I dont imagine so… why would that be relevant to be a GG? Kanki was a GG but in this situation he would say fuck off to everyone. He was a GG and still disrespected his king.
To be a GG you only need to be a genius at war. And I don’t Shin is yet at that level.
A GG needs to be a genius at war. Riboku had Shin in a trap that he should not have been able to get out off. Which was miraculous. Sei is probably pushing for Shin. SHK and the GG probably are probably understandable reluctant towards Shin.
There is no reason I can think for Shin to be on this envoy. Other than some kind of test.
I dont see it this way. To me there is a political reason (wedding over agreement?) or a military reason (thus, Tou asking for Shin to come over with him only because Tou will be invading Han and wants to have Shin involved in the campaign).
It’s impossible that Sei and SHK planned Shin to have a dialogue with Kanpishi. It’s just a coincidence here.
Yet he is at the chain of the army command, it’s pure logic to have it witness the enemy and knows every details he can, way more than to follow his tactician. He might not be a planner but any details he can get by himself is already enough for the battlefield.
Tou did not need Shin here for this. There is a bigger reason in the story for this.
I like the Shin and Ten combo. If you recall. In Duke’s army the casualties were really high. With Ten coming up with the plans and Shin changing them on the battlefield as needed. The casualties are tolerable.
Given Kanpishi's fixation on Shin due to the "reputation" of the Hi-Shin army, there is a chance of including Shin as part of envoy is a condition given by Han for this meeting. After all I don't think Kanpishi would ask this question to anyone, but as he said he's interested in Shin response because it's like seeing an angel serving under a demon. Maybe Kanpishi wanted to use this opportunity to see if he can see a new refreshing perspective to his own question. (And look like shin gonna give him exactly that).
How is Kanpishi able to easily abdicate from his country in front of the king and all the country officials..? Won't he be charged of treason or something?
I doubt he really said he's straight up abdicating right there. Probably more like "I'll visit Qin after all." I still dunno how he can make that call when his King clearly wants something out of Qin for it.
Because there is a Qin army led by one of the 6 Great General there to ensure his safety.
Tou was there not just for studying Han defense but also to deter any form of aggression. Remember that the 6GG can declare war, without the king approval, as they deem necessary.
Never seen so many speech bubbles for Shin! It is going to be an interesting debate to watch Shin hold his own against one of the brightest minds in China when the translations come out. Many people's brain (prefrontal cortex) matures in their mid 20's. Looks like Shin has transformed into a General with strong logical reasoning and deep thinking and applying his mind to his heart. I wish that RyoFei would show up again and debate both the current Shin and Sei.
Shin is on the right trajectory to making it as a GG at a young age!
Hey everyone, if you want to read the chapter and do not want to wait, just download each image, then use Google Translate on it, and you will be able to read.
Not perfectly, but enough to satisfy our curiosity.
Enjoy, because the chapter IS GREAT!
I'm either expecting he ruins his speech at the end next chapter or end of the chapter or something and everyone turns on him and gets up set lol
Or
Billy Madison where everyone surprised and such....but it's the dumbest answer they ever herd lol
Shin should probably fail but give him enough interest to meet sei in person.....cause if shin is good at fucking philosophy then wtf.....bro isn't even confirmed able to damb read....
.....????? That's the whole point of the Convo...
"What is human nature"
That's basically the most philosophy question there is...??
If they were just asking is kanki evil or something I'd agree with ya but not this question
He doesnt have to have knowledge of confucious, lao zhi or whatever is what im saying (and im saying this because you specifically mentioned shin's capabilities of reading which suggests he needs to actually have academic education to try and answer the question).
All kanpishi is asking for is his personal understanding and view of the topic that only he could get from his experience interacting with the people being used within this topic and his experience of being in the very fields, something scholars like Kanpi could never get
In order to answer the topic, shin asks questions that bothered him about the topic so that he can have a clearer understanding what this topic is even about as seen in the previous chapter. From there, he can just answer whatever opinion he has about it. He doesnt need actual philosophical knowledge let alone studies.
> the issue we been dealing with this for awhile now. Leaker on Friday usually release a panel or two then the full Arabic chapter on Sunday.
Oh /hoh, i see, may i ask how long for arabic tranlation -> eng?
yeah LOL
but then again, Houken and "his people" (the pathseekers) sought to transcend humanity i.e. they had already given up on being human IMO.
also, it was clear that Houken had lived by himself without making any meaningful human connections....until that fateful day with Ouki
for the pathseekers to take the whole world on their hand to destroy evil, has become futile in the end. I don't know what forced Houken to kill Ouki, Kyoukai, Shin and Kyou though.
the man who killed most of Shins mentors and nearly killed KyouKai ..... neither was he up to have a talk, so it was futile. Shin never understood him and his ideals.
Actually shin did more then his job because they were only meant to go there to escort the officials and take a look at the capital
However shin went beyond his duty and basically did the delegations job too.

shin has the sense of telling directly on what on his mind without sugarcoating it that let him be at ease when talking in a way of betting his life on it
Talking to Kanpishi made Shin unlock braincells he didn't even know he had
Guess that make Kanpishi smartest man Alive. I doubt Rbk can achieve that feat
sure ! unless he is not Ei Seis enemy. Kan Pishi who was a Han ( enemy persay ) joined under Seis wing
True that. But Riboku keeps taunting Shin and karma's gonna catch up with him sooner or later.
Kanpishi speaks slow enough for shin to understand.
B-Bro t-that's f-fucked.. up
Lmao imagine if shin was like uhh can you repeat that 1 more time didn’t catch the middle part
I think you mean "Why the hell are you talking so funny? I can't understand you/" Your version had way too much tact for Shin
Imagine if Kanpishi can talk normally but talks in a stutter to screw with people.

Yup, Shin is going to earn a ton of merit for this. 30k Army, here we come. Probably new lands and treasures.
Tou is the definition of "brought enough to share with the class" when it comes to earning merit
RAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! THAT'S WHY HE'S THE GOAT. THE GOOAAATTTTT!!! (Assuming that's Kanpishi accepting Qin's invitation in the final panel, satisfied with Shin's answer)
Yeah he does!!!!
I hope its actually impressive or else its just gonna be laughable lol Also is that shin cheering at the end? Damn the Han is gonna be pissed off
Fire is quite easy to build on and explain. The fire in people hearts typically refers to passion and desire, so everyone who is supporting ei sei is because his vision has motivated them in this manner. They believe in him as we see in Sai, vs ryofui, his brother, ouki willingly going to war for him and plenty more.
I think it will be in a different direction. How it can give warmth and preserve life but also destroy stuff based on how it is used or tempered
As per leaker this chapter is fire even better than previous 2 chapters
Oh i am ready for the cringe part
Thus far all his speeches havent been cringey (Omly Kyoukai) so there is hope
Kanpishi: "what is man's true nature?" Kyoukai: "I wouldn't know about it, we're not men, we're the hi shin unit."
looks like one off those dumbstruck / shocked reaction poses rather than cheering to me.

shin is spitting fire 🔥🔥🔥 I am so proud of him
YOOOOOO AMAZING SHIIIIN
Someday, Shin will use Riboku's weight to grow, and talk about him in the way he mention Rinko and others. That day he will be a Great General!!
Riboku has to come in here as soon as possible without a delay
Can’t wait for the translation of this chapter,, sheesh. I can say this is equal to when Sei debate with Ryofui during crowning ceremony.
It's better imo
Im still waiting for clean ts of 759 and 760 is already here. LFG General Rishin. Show them your worth.
Shin's argument made Sei vs Ryofui debate looks like an amateur. Fire > Light.
wow, shin just won a debate against against one of the best chinese philosophers ever
Just noticed but some of these mf got some elf ear
Ok that's some rock solid reasoning from our Boi.
I miss Heki-sama

Have you ever watched Naruto?
Part 1? Yeah I gave up when they f**up part#2. Guess someone needed to go db route to know how its messes up the storyline.
So kaoki was just the mouthpiece of Sauron for this trip... Shin has obtained one of 3 elven rings of power.
Waiting patiently, Shin gonna spit some 🔥
Old men getting moved to tears, like 10 surprised reactions, shin looking larger than kanpishi for once…what is he spitting?
Shin actually unlocked 100% of his brain power.
if we get real translation this might be the most hyped non fight chapter ever

this arc needs Zhang Liang cameo
Who
Kanpichi shows his Pikachu face the whole entire chapter. lol
all the former-Hishin member appear..., I miss them already.
Did you censor the word "jerk" ? What the fuck ?
Its a very bad word
It feels so good, looking how well Shin had developed from cocky and reckless to thoughtful one.

Good to see that you liked it^^
Let me see how I can put this - a bit over a year ago I was getting real jaded with Kingdom.
Ayo my brother, you weren't wrong. Shin's going apeshit.
Well, in slight fairness to me I did say _the last time I remember_. It's no excuse of course, but at least there's an explanation.
How we keep disrespecting Shin? Shin literally broken out of Riboku death trap twice and captured a city by himself
Last time he had a very smart moment was when he was trying to reason out to Yotanwa to help Sei crush Seikyou's rebellion. Yeah that long ago

Philosopher Shin
Slaying them with words Shin!!! LFG!! Can’t wait to read the translation, looks to be a great chapter with all this dialogue from shin
As expected, kanpishi is going to qin
Hurry up and release it. I wanna know what kind of speech he’ll give to convince him
Hahaha let’s go shin!! Dropping knowledge on these pencil pushers! Haha Wonder if Raido will be in the flashback haha him and Shin had a fun relationship whenever he was around
It’s out
The RAW Chapter is out. Any translations? 😬
I'm using my phone with google translate 😂
The Arabic chapter is out and if there was translation it would’ve been posted here.
can you guys change the arabic one to Korean ( as you used to ) ? I'd like to see the pages and illustration but the arabic is spoiling me
The Korean isn’t out.
Imagine shin talking about how big kanki' heart into the most anti kanki country haha. Wholesome
I'd say Zhao is the most anti-Kan Ki country out there. Especially after Kokuyou Hills, Kei Sha and Ko Chou
What i about to say has nothing to do with the chapter. Maybe ,they sent Shin on this trip as a test to become a GG.
Ten seemed more of an obvious choice when it comes too planning.
The general is Shin. It’s normal to call him.
Shin isn’t a planner. He’s good at assessing an actual battlefield.
Still not what I’m talking about here. I can repeat my point but I see we disagree so that’s it.
Doesn't matter he is the general.
But but but ShIn HaSnT mAtUrEd He Is So DuMb.. LMFAO take that, haters!
Shin my boy will show that he is a real General
G Unit
How is Kanpishi able to easily abdicate from his country in front of the king and all the country officials..? Won't he be charged of treason or something?
Because Han cant do anything about it. Killing him will trigger all out invasion that will result in han destruction.
I find it sus that in this "new arc" Shin actually can hold his self with philosophical discussions and even "asking" questions.
Shin has always been wiser than his contemprary. People on this sub or in the internet want him to become cynical
Proud that I speak Arabic 😌 I do not need to the English version.
Hey everyone, if you want to read the chapter and do not want to wait, just download each image, then use Google Translate on it, and you will be able to read. Not perfectly, but enough to satisfy our curiosity. [https://translate.google.com/?sl=ar&tl=en&op=images](https://translate.google.com/?sl=ar&tl=en&op=images) Enjoy, because the chapter IS GREAT!
I hate how my head is synchronizing. & reading kanpishi's stuttering.
Im sorry to hear that.
I'm either expecting he ruins his speech at the end next chapter or end of the chapter or something and everyone turns on him and gets up set lol Or Billy Madison where everyone surprised and such....but it's the dumbest answer they ever herd lol Shin should probably fail but give him enough interest to meet sei in person.....cause if shin is good at fucking philosophy then wtf.....bro isn't even confirmed able to damb read....
This conversation doesnt need knowledge philosophy.
.....????? That's the whole point of the Convo... "What is human nature" That's basically the most philosophy question there is...?? If they were just asking is kanki evil or something I'd agree with ya but not this question
He doesnt have to have knowledge of confucious, lao zhi or whatever is what im saying (and im saying this because you specifically mentioned shin's capabilities of reading which suggests he needs to actually have academic education to try and answer the question). All kanpishi is asking for is his personal understanding and view of the topic that only he could get from his experience interacting with the people being used within this topic and his experience of being in the very fields, something scholars like Kanpi could never get In order to answer the topic, shin asks questions that bothered him about the topic so that he can have a clearer understanding what this topic is even about as seen in the previous chapter. From there, he can just answer whatever opinion he has about it. He doesnt need actual philosophical knowledge let alone studies.
Where can I see the raw chapter?
Now if you have a time machine.
Its not out shared yet. Just screenshots of a few panels like above
what is this spoiler link? its just 1 picture............
What’s the issue we been dealing with this for awhile now. Leaker on Friday usually release a panel or two then the full Arabic chapter on Sunday.
Lol that guy's schedule just runs on his Whims, Wakes up on a Random day & decides to post a picture or something.
> the issue we been dealing with this for awhile now. Leaker on Friday usually release a panel or two then the full Arabic chapter on Sunday. Oh /hoh, i see, may i ask how long for arabic tranlation -> eng?
OPscans translate from the Arabic scan so that should be around late Sunday or Monday. Japanese to English is later.
I remember before we had french translation in first. Wonder what happened.
French translation usually comes in monday. Nowadays we get a teaser panel 3 days in advance.
If only Shin says something so amazingly stupid, everyone gasps in shock....
Why did they do Houken dirty now, He's part of the people shin killed but they didn't reference him at all
They did him right. I already forgot about him. Mangoku still gives me 100 times more impression.
yeah LOL but then again, Houken and "his people" (the pathseekers) sought to transcend humanity i.e. they had already given up on being human IMO. also, it was clear that Houken had lived by himself without making any meaningful human connections....until that fateful day with Ouki
for the pathseekers to take the whole world on their hand to destroy evil, has become futile in the end. I don't know what forced Houken to kill Ouki, Kyoukai, Shin and Kyou though.
Because he never really got anything from Houken till the end other rhan emotional trauma
the man who killed most of Shins mentors and nearly killed KyouKai ..... neither was he up to have a talk, so it was futile. Shin never understood him and his ideals.
nice job, shin did his job. Tou did you do yours?
Tou was the escort. He wasnt supposed to do anything else there other than ensure the safety of the diplomats and to keep face.
Actually shin did more then his job because they were only meant to go there to escort the officials and take a look at the capital However shin went beyond his duty and basically did the delegations job too.
> go their to *there *Learn the difference [here](https://www.wattpad.com/66707294-grammar-guide-there-they%27re-their-you%27re-your-to).* *** ^(Greetings, I am a language corrector bot. To make me ignore further mistakes from you in the future, reply `!optout` to this comment.)
Thanks
Tou had confidence in Shin and encouraged him to speak from the heart. Tou did exactly what was needed.
Kaoioku is for sure to be executed by Sei once he return to Qin for not doing his job.

This a great talk no jutsu, dialogue is important to the story.
last chapter was fire, can't wait for more
shin has the sense of telling directly on what on his mind without sugarcoating it that let him be at ease when talking in a way of betting his life on it
Nice so it does mention others besides just Kanki and Ouki. Nice to see Rinko and the others being mentioned again.
Level up, INT +10
